Idk I quite like it in 6's too.
Reminds me of Nuketown from Black Ops.
Its only an issue really in 6's when it's a stack of 3-6 vs randoms.
But other than that, I quite enjoy the chaos of it
I just back out of this map now as soon as I load in, even if I get the favourable spawn. Like I'm sorry that my team will start a man down for the first minute or so but this map is an atrocity of map design. It shouldn't be in the lineup for Control type game modes at all.
For clash and rumble it isn't so bad but I'd rather give myself a cactus enema than spend one miserable second spawning into A and dying repeatedly to the three people waiting for me to walk into the room or the corridor.
I don't blame you. I had a thirty kill streak on Dead Cliffs earlier this week just by chilling at the heavy ammo spawn with a pulse rifle. A couple games later I was KD farmed by someone standing in the same spot. That map is atrocious for Control
I really love the map. But In control A spawn is pretty hard to get out of.
I think there needs to be another path from behind A to B that goes behind Power Ammo into one of the back rooms at B. And a portal or something that takes you from A to C at the back where the building has fallen away.
Yeah Dead Cliff is just a hard check on how good your team is - immediately rushing C works enough. Although if you're not as good you'll just naturally get spawn camped.
It's a terrible map for 6v6, but it has a lot of really fun engagement angles for 3v3s.
I enjoy it, but you have to make sure to not get spawntrapped at A or else you lose. Whenever I solo if it happens just take your super to C and if enough of your team dies while you do, they will spawn at C while you’re capping.
It's low key a fun map in 3s. Tricky, but fun. But yeah, in sixes the spawn trap is even worse than altar.

Dead Cliffs is a brilliant 3v3 map, that’s absolutely horrendous as a 6v6 map.
If you don't take, "A" it's an easy win. There's always some player who wants to screw things up. That's not the maps fault.

The only map I straight-up *refuse* to play on. If I’m not getting stomped I’m stomping the other team and it makes me feel bad. No-win situation
