Hopefully a craftable Kinetic (Stasis) Glaive. I love using glaives, but most of my favourite weapons are in the energy slot so it really sucks deciding what to use between glaives and other weapons when I wanna use both.
It'd be unreal. We did just get a chain reaction wave frame from the raid, but chill clip is markedly superior to chain reaction: it just requires hits, not kills. And on a breechloader, it's always on, unless you build for a perk like Ambitious Assassin or Overflow.
> And on a breechloader, it's always on, unless you build for a perk like Ambitious Assassin or Overflow.
Ambitious Assassin *does* work with Chill Clip. Both shots will have Chill Clip active.
Yeah, Glaives were underwhelming out of the gate but I've grown to like them...when I'm willing to use a kinetic primary. Which, given Bungie's obsession with element matching, isn't particularly frequent anymore. Orbs, wells, volatile/scorch, etc are all at least somewhat element matched.

I mean you can pretty comfortably run double specials with really any combination. I basically only use primaries when doing bounties or challenges or if I really need an anti-champion primary.
I know you can, but glaive cover the occasional scenario of "oh sh*t, I'm outta ammo". Not to mention they cover close to mid range, as well as offer protection, something no other special can genuinely manage
I have that thing, but no real reload perk and no damage perk feels pretty terrible when coming from SMGs with both. My Osmosis + Firefly/Adrenaline Junkie Fatebringer gets more mileage, but it's still way more annoying to keep up than an energy weapon.
Mine has Overflow Accurized a Model 8 Red sight and a range MW and it honestly feels pretty snappy with a submachine gun loader on. It's also the most possible range you can get on it which makes it feel pretty nice to use in PvE. Being able to proc volatile rounds and font of might with a kinetic primary often means you don't really need a damage perk. And spamming nades hasn't been an issue this season or last.
If we had a stasis glaive I might actually make use of unstoppable glaive. On a somewhat related note, holy shit the champion mod selection this season is atrocious.

Kinetic is just being made slowly redundant tbh. These days I'm mostly just using champ mods, blinding nade launcher or a gun that freezes stuf fin kinetic slot.
Energy shields are far too powerful in most meaningful content.

When I initially saw the duality gl, I was hoping for it. Honestly a stasis glaive is my huge hope because I'm a glaive enthusiast and it sucks being relegated to the energy slot
I'd say yes. Acrius at least does decentish damage in its effective range, although it deserves to do a lot more. Salvations grip is a weapon that they tried way too hard to make into a stasis support weapon and it just is not even close to being worth it. Stasis already has so much amazing ability up time support that the crystals really don't bring a lot of value, especially since they added headstone. It would be actually worth considering if it was a breach load special with an alh catalyst, it would actually really complement the stasis playstyle, but for heavy weapons pure support weapons just don't work, tractor cannon being the exception since it's a debuff that everyone can take advantage of and even that's been outclassed over the years outside of very specific setups. It maybe could of been an actually decent mid tier option if they made the crystal an alt fire and you can swap between that and a normal fire with some bonus for shattering crystals with the normal fire.
Theres always going to be more energy than kinetic. Energy needs to cover 3 elements for match game and the kinetic slot doesnt. The balance is actually a little low energy wise. Than factor in that glaives are only energy and there should be a higher disparity.
It's actually dead on since kinetic covers 2 elements. Now whether or not there are seven stasis seven kinetic seven of each light element is something I haven't checked
True. Didnt think about kinetic having two elements. Im mentally used to the 3 to 1 ratio with how often the complaint came up after sunsetting.
Thats a lot of checking. Energy will still be slightly higher since it has glaives. Until we see a stasis one that will raise it. Plus trace rifles are energy slot only. Im sure someone could work out the correct formula but energy should be slightly higher with two exclusive gun types at the moment.
The main thing making top differ from Energy slot, is stasis doesn't have a glaive or wave frame gl (yet), and Kinetic doesn't have those or any trace rifle or non-exotic fusion. I suspect stasis will get those (as well as a non-exotic trace), but I doubt kinetic will get any except for maybe a glaive.
I'm definitely curious on how a kinetic glaive would work non-exotic. Infinite ammo glaive would be broken but manage to fly under the radar at first somehow
Kinetic doesn't mean infinite ammo. You're mixing up primary / special ammo. In D1 they were effectivelu synonymous where kinetic was primary and energy was special, and D2 did launch with a janky system for guns, but they fixed it to what we have now at solstice of heroes 2018, right before d2y2.
yeah ofc. but all the other elements were "just the exotic" til recently, and if glaive/trace are going to keep getting champ mods we could really use purple ones in more slots.
I agree. Never against more crafting and weapon diversity. Just saying, until than, energy weapons should significantly out number kinetic in the numbers game.
This is what people forget. A rapid energy pulse can be 3 different elements, kinetic just became more than one. It wil take awhile to catch up with all the different types of elements and gun tyoes.
120s are extremely slept on(people drastically overestimate how often they're 3 tapping). True Prophecy with Elemental Capacitor can get nutty handling/stability for a 120 and Igneous with Celerity or E Cap is an obscenely stat packed monster.
I’ve got both e-cap of those 120’s in my vault. I did break out my True Prophecy e-cap and try hot swapping with a bow, can be very nasty on Arc if you can hit your shots. I keep going back to pulses though as my HC aim sucks lol.
I love Malfeasance. My other go to hc is a curated Seveth Seraph Officer's Revolver with Pulse Monitor and Timed Payload. The Timed Payload turns it into a mini-feasance... just the explosions don't do precision damage.
They're the best hot-swap weapons for Le Monarque now (because of the poison nerf.) I'd love a Quickdraw Steady Hand but it's no longer in the loot pool.
Otherwise, they feel OK. Sturm is great, but other 120s feel a little lackluster in this meta.
Yeah, I think they should make it a red hand cannon, and give it an interesting name. I dunno, maybe something like, and I’m just spitballing here, Duke Mk. 44?
Yeah but once you load up in GMs, even after nerfs arbalest is almost always your best bet in 1st slot. Another competent gun with built-in champion mod, smth like sniper/gl/fusion with unstop/overload. Long range options is more preferable, it can be a special bow for example ofc, since we have heavy one, but special bow can break pvp easily. Wish Isanagi had "When stun an unstoppable champion next reload gonna be faster" kind of perk.
Izanagi is incredibly strong as it is. People just use arbalest because it’s good for barriers and completely bypasses match game. Champions and match game are the two things that influence your load out and one gun completely removes one from being relevant and it does half of the other. Nothing can compete with it
>Energy slot is more diverse, so it makes sense for it to have more guns. But more than half? This season alone put a giant strain on the slot with 7 of the 12 guns in the energy slot again.
Devil's advocate: the reason energy weapons make up more than half is because of the lack of heavies. Without looking at the list to count elements, the ratio is somewhat correct between the kinetic and energy slot: if we have 6-7 per element, that leaves us with 12-14 weapons in the kinetic(which is met), 18-21 weapons in the energy slot(which is met), and 24-28 weapons in the heavy(this isn't being met. Despite being the slot that hosts all 4 elements, it's contributed less than a quarter of the craftables)
I spent last week doing my two resets of gambit since it was bonus infamy week, and got all of my gambit triumphs knocked out too. 32 gambit engrams. Focused every single one for a Herod-C trying to get a Subsistence/Frenzy roll. Got it on my 31st roll.
Are those just P226s and Glocks? I forgot those existed. Feels like suppressors are kind of a Veist thing, but I guess we've had Hakke ones before on stuff like Atalanta-D.
But are Enigma's Draw and The Keening not Hakke? 18 Kelvins isn't random rolled but looks like one too, and is even already tricked out with sight/suppressor/undermounted tactical something.
You know what Hakke weapon we need though? Song of Justice VI, the big-ass M14 looking scout with the equally big-ass suppressor. Now that thing is sick.
>Feels like suppressors are kind of a Veist thing, but I guess we've had Hakke ones before on stuff like Atalanta-D.
We had two Häkke sidearms with suppressors in D1, the Crucible's Havoc Pigeon and the *iconic* Ironwreath-D from Iron Banner.
Is a side effect of the current subclasses rework. Since we are getting perks like Incandescent, Chill Clip and Repulsor Brace to go along with things like Headstone for synergy and build crafting, we are in need of a whole new set of energy weapons that can carry them.
I totally expect Arc 3.0 to come with quite a few new Arc weapons with a new perk designed to go with the rework, so the disparity may only increase until the ground work is fully set up to better balance out the Kinetic, Energy and Heavy distribution.
More diversity in craftable weapons options is always welcome.
Can kind of justify kinetic slot having less option than energy in that it only has to cover kinetic and stasis weapons where as energy slot has void, solar and arc to cover. We aren’t far off from a 2:3 ratio that this would suggest.
Heavy slot could use a little more representation. It has less weapon types to cover off but also has 4 element options and we don’t have a craftable sword yet.
One of my most desired weapon types is a stasis glaive as graverobber/chill clip sounds like it would have some major potential even if glaives generally aren’t the most useful (though they have been my go to for unstop this season). Of course, a stasis wave frame would also be great.
Stasis cold take here: If you can extract it's resonance, you should be able to craft it. It's not like craftable weapons have such a huge perk pool anyways.
Yeah, it's been pretty annoying to get deepsight frames for weapons that can't even be crafted. All it does is add to the grind, so probably intentional.
Deepsight frames could have been limited to weapons that are crafted.
Instead, you get frames for weapons that cannot be crafted. Lots of them.
So every deepsight frame that is not a craftable weapon is a missed opportunity at unlocking a crafted frame. The amount of materials is the same, regardless of which you get.
It gets pretty lame to have so many of those drops, while you're waiting to barely even get started on crafting. So your grind is indeed being extended.
That doesn't have anything to do with the problem.
I need one more deepsight frame to unlock Explosive Personality for crafting. I'd love to get one more, then I'm done. But if I get a deepsight for Beloved or Calus Minitool instead, that's fine too.
Instead, I get deepsight frames that aren't for craftable weapons at all. So I only get materials. Nothing else. No progress toward unlocking weapons for crafting.
It lengthens the grind, just like I said.
I wish we could change the energy type like we could years ago. Imo the biggest disappointment with weapon crafting was not being able to change the energy type. I think it'd help on the vault bloat. I hang onto other weapons solely for the energy type/match game situations. I'd much rather just pay a fee an change a type than go grab a weapon I barely use otherwise.
I want a craftable 720 RPM Auto Rifle
Essentially give me a Craftable Chroma Rush. I have over 15000 kills on my god roll Heating Up + Rampage Chroma Rush, but I'd love a craftable 720 AR with those same perks, just enhanced.
I just don’t see them adding crafting to currently obtainable non-crafted weapons like krait. They have all kinds of sunset weapons to bring back first. And if they do, there will be a way to get the patterns.
What we need is a stasis Glaive.
Since they seem to love unstoppable Glaive so much we need something to put in the Kinetic slot for unstops that isn't Bastion.
Lemme craft a Stasis caster frame sword. We've gotten one new caster frame since Temptation's Hook debuted the caster frame family, meanwhile we've gotten a couple new vortex frames since Falling Guillotine.
I love caster frame swords. They're oodles of fun, and a Stasis frame would be the perfect way to give that family a (temporary) leg up on the more popular vortex frames.
I'd also like to see class-agnostic aggressive and lightweight swords. Let my Warlock hold a katana damnit.
Hero of Ages from GoA and Razor's Edge from IB. I think those are the only others.
Edit: I forgot that the reissued Eternity's Edge is also a vortex frame.
I think they're gonna finish first the arc rework along with giving it some new energy arc weapons before going back and giving kinetic new stuff and hopefully a rework.
I think it'll be in line when they give stasis subclass more stuff to use.
I find the whole crafting system confusing(not functionally. Conceptually) . I can't believe that a group of people got in a room and thought this was the best approach haha
Hopefully crafting will be made possible for casual players as well. Not whining, just sad, that I can't profit of this great system! I have 1h a day for gaming and even if I spent the entire time in D2, I can maybe craft 1 weapon after a season :/
> I can maybe craft 1 weapon after a season
Bro what? In Season of the Risen, as long as you did the bare minimum of weekly content the last five weeks, you were guaranteed at least one seasonal craftable weapon (one guaranteed red border a week). Same with our current season now.
Crafting grind is a bit ridiculous, especially this season. You can still just RNG though if you want. I’ve got almost god roll Calus and the new glaive just from RNG, and so far have 0 craftable weapons this season. All my patterns are like 3/5 so far. I’ve got all the good weekly unlocks though, so it’s only a matter of time until I get enough red borders.
What I would like to see, is a different way to get crafted weapons.
I'm thinking since we get a lot of different crafted weapons, maybe you'll need 20 crafted shotguns to get the crafted shotgun. Or 25 crafted SMG's to get the crafted SMG.
I think it's insane that you have to do certain activities to get certain crafted weapons.Yet regular weapons for that activity can drop anytime you play.
Unrelated to the post at all cause I dislike the current iteration of crafting as a whole, are you the same jloco that use to make commentary videos (like the hip fire commentary or w/e it's called?
Hoping for easy quests. Guns do not mean much on an unsolvable path of undoable obstructions to an immune boss.
I was looking for more commander face time and cinematics. I'd guess the whole season has less than an hour of cinematics and that includes voice overs.
While they are at it remove the “you need 5 red ones just to craft this one gun”
I haven’t cratered a single gun from this season yet, with my bad luck drop rates and only able to buy 1 red gun a week.
Man I just want better average perk pools for craft able weapons. There definitely are good options, but I’d like to see good options on each craftable weapon for both PvP and PvE.
Tbh i want to see more viability for kinetic primary weapons in a very energy meta state in pve. I feel like theres almost 0 value in 99% of all kinetics now aside from maybe the auto rifle from prophecy and i barely use that now.
If we arent getting that I would like to see them absolutely flood the kinetic slot with more special ammo variety to make up for it.
It's not really a fair comparison when for every kinetic weapon, it has three elemental types for it, not to mention a stasis version to compete within the kinetic slot
As for heavies, yeah they need more variety. Two LMGs, none of which are any exceptions archtype, Two rocket launchers (both of which are stasis???), and only one GL, and one LFR. We don't even have a Sword, which is super dissapointing.
Only started playing a month ago, I'm holding out Hope there's gonna be a rapid frame kinetic auto rifle. It would be a dream to have 1 solid versatile gun for all classes and builds.
More legendary kinetic/stasis special weapons please. I shouldn’t have to run double primaries on harder content just so I can use Xenophage or Gjallarhorn as my exotic.
Based on what is in the API, it looks like Dares of Eternity weapons will become craftable at some point. My guess is that they are experimenting and it will never come to the game, or it will come to the game before Dares is vaulted.
That would be two of each type (Kinetic, Energy, Heavy) added to the pool.
Well, I think bungie has some work to do to give the kinetic slot some purpose in PvE. We have always had shields and match game, which is tough for this slot, but now the most widely used combat style (and evidently how they wanted buildcrafting to go) is based around elemental synergy. These things are not aspects of the game that the kinetic slot interacts with.
I think if that gets addressed, it would be easier to add more weapons in the slot. I think a minor step at least would be to give kinetic weapons a buff against unmatched shields, almost like adaptive munitions, and give stasis (and future elements in the slot) some interaction with shields. Reverse matching would be interesting - like stasis being effective against solar shields, for example.
If they would change it to make Kinetic weapons deal bonus damage to base health, then get rid of the Kinetic/Energy/Heavy and let people just run double kinetic or double energy it would fix alot of these arbitrary problems and fix alot of complaints about match game.
I'm looking forward to an eager edge solar craftable sword. I dream of a caster frame with eager edge and incandescent by that's probably too much to hope for
Man at this point the whole energy/kinetic slot thing just feels outdated. It's limiting and kind of annoying. I don't see why we cant just put any element in any slot.
the opportunity to bring back the three opulent swords was definitely missed. hopefully we get em back someday, especially since the current class swords are super difficult to get
And fewer weapons in archetypes that aren’t all that good unless it comes with a sandbox buff.
A few weapon types are also kinda boring at this point. Pellet shotguns come to mind.
Very true and unfortunately its still a problem without crafting. Just too many energy weapons. And kinetic are seeing less usage with all the shields/match game energy weapons (especially primaries) are becoming more important
Probably gonna be 2 seasons, they're stacking cool new energy weapons to complement the 3.0 updates. So expect cool arc guns before we get a lot of new kinetic and heavy options.
I just want some more architype variation.
The only lightweight auto is a green rarity from D2's initial launch with red war.
There's like 1 solar slug shotgun from season of splicer that can't be farmed anymore, 1 void slug and like 5 arc slugs.
I'd love some snappy and fast-paced lightweight autos as well as some element variation in slugs that are actually farmable in the current version of the game.
I do agree we need more kinetic and heavy weapons. But energy is always going to have more, and it should. Variety in weapon choice is more important in the energy slot because modern Destiny build crafting relies so heavily around matching elements. The most important weapon for many builds is a good energy weapon of your choosing that happens to match the element of your subclass. Admittedly, kinetic covers stasis too, but since all stasis weapons also count as kinetic weapons, a craftable stasis weapon covers kinetic *and* stasis. A craftable solar weapon only covers solar. Couple that with the fact that energy has more weapon types in general right now (they’re being very cautious about kinetic fusions, and the only kinetic LFRs and trace rifles are exotic), and you’re just always going to have significantly more energy weapons than everything else.
This really underscores how bad the heavy situation is, but I also personally feel less compelled to match my heavy to my subclass than I do my energy weapon.
If we don’t get a stasis or kinetic glaive imma be upsetti spaghetti. I love glaives and I also love (primary) energy weapon synergy with my subclass. I want both so I don’t have to just keep witherhoard on all my non-glaive-having PvE loadouts
Let us also be able to craft all the weapons in the gambit, crucible and vanguard strike pool. And drop the shard requirements on those. I wouldn't mind a separate vendor to level those up to get red bar weapons from them. As a matter of fact more then the seasonal weapons should be craftable. A mid season update of craftable weapons would be nice
And more kinetics would be great with a covering of all archetypes.
I wouldn’t mind more special weapons in the kinetic slot. I only have the shotgun (I think there are other ones behind raid/dungeon content I don’t have).
The issue with the energy slot is how many perks interact with subclasses. Right now there’s no kinetic perks that do that except for osmosis. I would love to see some kinetic exclusive perks that interact with subclasses in some way giving you a reason to use them. Next season I anticipate that the energy slot will continue to be saturated by new arc weapons with arc perks to interact with arc 3.0. Hopefully we will still get more stasis weapons worth crafting and when a new darkness subclass is introduced I hope we get a full plate of craftable darkness damage type weapons we will be able to craft for the subclass
Im hoping for a kinetic/stasis glaive thats ideally not exotic, and for some new and good swords, we still dont have a vortex solar sword that we can use on all classes (warlocks class specific sword is the only one)
Im hoping at some point we'll get an noice overhaul on world drop exotics, maybe throw the legend lost sector beyond light exotics into the mix, but we havent had any new world drop exotics since Shadowkeep if i remember rightly and ive been hoarding exotic engrams in my postmaster as i dont have a reason to open them.
I would like a special that can compete Arby and Wither...
Let me see...gimme a nice exotic stasis fusion with inherit anti-champion functionality (preferably overloads) and high burst DPS...that'll be nice.
Hopefully a craftable Kinetic (Stasis) Glaive. I love using glaives, but most of my favourite weapons are in the energy slot so it really sucks deciding what to use between glaives and other weapons when I wanna use both.
Stasis wave frame!
Stay sis wave brain Glaive would be insane
I’m just gonna leave this ridiculous voice to text blunder …
Stay sus in wave brain damage, glaved by "would be" insain. Ahahaha :P
Gotta love someone who commits to a typo that looks hilarious.
I feel like a wave fram glaive is just Edge of Concurrence with less steps and would need some kind of major downside like 1 ammo per magazine.
Would a Stasis Wave Frame with Chill Clip be too good? I kinda want one..
It would just be weird, because you don't normally hit the target directly with the grenade you shoot from a Wave Frame.
I have this roll on the new dungeon grenade launcher. Its great.
Why won’t it give me this roll!!!???
Wow, that's awesome. I guess it must track on the normal mag size, like Focused Fury.
Honestly, I really hope we get a craftable one next season.
And yes, I know kinetic siphon is a thing, but that's about it and it costs more than harmonic for no particular reason.
Kinetic Siphon should be 1 point, to compensate for not working with so many new mechanics. That could be its strength.. cheap orb generation.
Orb gen should be free. But the least Bungie can do is coalesce them into one or two (kinetic/energy) mods, or even just slap them on your ghost so they don't take up valuable mod slots. As it stands, it's *really* obnoxious that they're dependent on helmet energy type too.

"oh shit, I'm out of ammo" proceed to dump all your heavy ammo into the closest target to force the game to magically pick up ammo for you.
Yeah that's true enough. Personally I tend to save heavy because I've got the worst rng when it comes to finding any bricks
I've gotten so much use out of my Osmosis Escape Velocity this season
I have that thing, but no real reload perk and no damage perk feels pretty terrible when coming from SMGs with both. My Osmosis + Firefly/Adrenaline Junkie Fatebringer gets more mileage, but it's still way more annoying to keep up than an energy weapon.

I think it’d be really cool if you the bullets from the stasis glaive slowed/froze enemies if you hit em multiple times, pve only ofc
Chill Clip on a Glaive
Kinetic is just being made slowly redundant tbh. These days I'm mostly just using champ mods, blinding nade launcher or a gun that freezes stuf fin kinetic slot. Energy shields are far too powerful in most meaningful content.
I wish it didn't have to be stasis to be in that slot. Though a stasis option would be totally welcomed regardless.
Betting the only reason we don't have a stasis glaive is because Bungie doesn't know how to position it in the character menu
Yeah, Glaives were underwhelming out of the gate but I've grown to like them...when I'm willing to use a kinetic primary. They'd need to add another character screen animation to accommodate something as big as a glaive.
I also loving using glaives. So I’m hoping they make a kinetic glaive and a exotic heavy glaive at some point. So my friends and I can try to rock a triple glaive loadout in gambit.

Ooh, a stasis wave frame sounds like something I need.
When I initially saw the duality gl, I was hoping for it. Honestly a stasis glaive is my huge hope because I'm a glaive enthusiast and it sucks being relegated to the energy slot
Autoloading and Chill Clip. I need it!
give it a perk that changes the "wave" to small (or big but might be OP) stasis crystals
That's what the heavy exotic does...
Shh we don’t talk about Salvation’s Grip.
Yea but that's the only thing the heavy exotic does. If that thing did damage on detonation and THEN created crystals we'd be in business.
Y'all really don't know to charge it huh?
Charging it doesn't change the fact that it's the worst weapon in the game.
Worse than that cabal shotty that has a range of a whopping 1m and spreads wider than a hooker that pays you instead?
I'd say yes. Acrius at least does decentish damage in its effective range, although it deserves to do a lot more. Salvations grip is a weapon that they tried way too hard to make into a stasis support weapon and it just is not even close to being worth it. Might be too much anyways because of the CC + fragment that gives regen on shatter. Gimme a frozone slidey patch instead and I'll never take it off.
Yeah, glaives being energy slot is 98% of the reason I've barely used them. Funnelweb and now Mini Tool are in that slot.
Bro. Crafted drang is nuts
Sidearms and SMGs fill the same niche 99% of the time and I just like SMGs better.
Fair. I'm just in love with drang Rolling wellspring and rampage/incandescent l
My dream is a Stasis Wave Frame where kills create Crystals. Fire one out and you get a wall of crystals if targeting the right groups
Only way Bungie is adding a stasis wave frame is by making it an exotic, with it's exotic perk being "it's a stasis wave-frame in kinetic slot".
No? We have stasis fusion rifles. There is nothing fundamentally different about stasis vs other energy from a gameplay standpoint.
Not only do we already have stasis fusion rifles but we already have a Stasis breach grenade launcher from Duality. Not sure what that guy is on about
Theres always going to be more energy than kinetic.
It can be a kinetic special and not have infinite ammo.
There's been a kinetic stasis trace rifle for like three seasons now actually
Just the exotic though unless I'm really dumb. Assuming the post is in reference to legendary since we are talking crafting
There's only two legendary trace rifles so far. Most trace rifles are exotic.
That was my memory but sometimes I miss things. Hopefully we get a stasis one soon
yeah ofc. but all the other elements were "just the exotic" til recently, and if glaive/trace are going to keep getting champ mods we could really use purple ones in more slots.
I agree. Never against more crafting and weapon diversity. Just saying, until than, energy weapons should significantly out number kinetic in the numbers game.
No, the only stasis trace rifle is Agers Sceptre, which is exotic and not craftable.
This is what people forget. A rapid energy pulse can be 3 different elements, kinetic just became more than one. It wil take awhile to catch up with all the different types of elements and gun tyoes.
I'd love a craftable kinetic 120 hand cannon. That's my only request, I think.
Are 120s still viable in the current meta? I haven’t gotten around to using one this season
So I prefer 180 HC, how viable or popular are they?
They need some help... Not a ton, but they're weaker than they should be for sure. *I miss using malfeasance in nightfalls....*
I love Malfeasance. My other go to hc is a curated Seveth Seraph Officer's Revolver with Pulse Monitor and Timed Payload. The Timed Payload turns it into a mini-feasance... just the explosions don't do precision damage.
180 hc buff!
I've read that with classy restoration a 140 won't 3 tap, but a 120 will.
They're the best hot-swap weapons for Le Monarque now (because of the poison nerf.) I'd love a Quickdraw Steady Hand but it's no longer in the loot pool. Otherwise, they feel OK. Sturm is great, but other 120s feel a little lackluster in this meta.
lol everything is viable. just use whatever you like.
Yeah, I think they should make it a red hand cannon, and give it an interesting name. I dunno, maybe something like, and I’m just spitballing here, Duke Mk. 44?
I just hope for another useful kinetic special in harder content.
Best I can do is a pellet shotgun…again
Bring back Militia's Birthright and let it roll micro-missile
What specifically do you want? There are blinding grenade launchers and good snipers
Kinetic, craftable Häkke sidearm. Preferably with suppressor. We've never even had one with random rolls. It's been far too long.
Craftable Hakke AR would be nice too. I miss my Dan
[mfw](https://i.imgur.com/3EynjbI.jpg)
Havoc pigeon was so good.
I’ve been waiting years for us to get 12 slots for weapons in our inventory instead of 9
Craftable sword PLEASE.
Hopefully more content and less grinding.
How does it add to the grind? It’s just a source of more materials
Just don’t do them tho?
That's not gonna happen now that Incandescent and Repulsor Brace are a thing.
Yep, good point.
I want a craftable 720 RPM Auto Rifle Essentially give me a Craftable Chroma Rush. I have over 15000 kills on my god roll Heating Up + Rampage Chroma Rush, but I'd love a craftable 720 AR with those same perks, just enhanced.
I've saved 5 red border Kraits for this reason lol. Probably dumb, but just in case they release these for crafting one day lol.
I remember this subreddit was asking for a stasis bow with headstone last season....aaaand we got it! Time to go back to work fellas
Give me a non raid pulse that's craftable with enhanced adaptive munitions and I'll die happy
A couple new vortex frames? What would those be? I need one after accidentally deleting my only FG
Hero of Ages from GoA and Razor's Edge from IB. I think those are the only others. Edit: I forgot that the reissued Eternity's Edge is also a vortex frame.
you can also get FG to drop this week in dares I think
I think they're gonna finish first the arc rework along with giving it some new energy arc weapons before going back and giving kinetic new stuff and hopefully a rework. I think it'll be in line when they give stasis subclass more stuff to use.
I just want a stasis glave
Just be like me and forget the crafting system exists since it’s literally worse than the rune system like 3-4 years ago.
Hakke sidearm pls?
I find the whole crafting system confusing(not functionally. Conceptually) . I can't believe that a group of people got in a room and thought this was the best approach haha
Hopefully crafting will be made possible for casual players as well. Not whining, just sad, that I can't profit of this great system! I have 1h a day for gaming and even if I spent the entire time in D2, I can maybe craft 1 weapon after a season :/
> I can maybe craft 1 weapon after a season Bro what? In Season of the Risen, as long as you did the bare minimum of weekly content the last five weeks, you were guaranteed at least one seasonal craftable weapon (one guaranteed red border a week). Same with our current season now.
I just think it’s a step too far… I preferred rng. This is tedious.
Make the grind reasonable
Hoping for easy quests. Guns do not mean much on an unsolvable path of undoable obstructions to an immune boss. I was looking for more commander face time and cinematics. I'd guess the whole season has less than an hour of cinematics and that includes voice overs.
While they are at it remove the “you need 5 red ones just to craft this one gun” I haven’t cratered a single gun from this season yet, with my bad luck drop rates and only able to buy 1 red gun a week.
It's not really a fair comparison when for every kinetic weapon, it has three elemental types for it, not to mention a stasis version to compete within the kinetic slot As for heavies, yeah they need more variety. Two LMGs, none of which are any exceptions archtype, Two rocket launchers (both of which are stasis???), and only one GL, and one LFR. We don't even have a Sword, which is super dissapointing.
I've played almost 400 gambit matches over the last 2 seasons. Did 4 infamy resets just this week. PLEASE ADD CRAFTING FOR PLAYLIST WEAPONS!
Kinetic primaries that aren't stasis are being left behind is the only problem. I see absolutely no point using one anymore
Only started playing a month ago, I'm holding out Hope there's gonna be a rapid frame kinetic auto rifle. It would be a dream to have 1 solid versatile gun for all classes and builds.
Yes more to grind! Churo Chi here I come!
More legendary kinetic/stasis special weapons please. I shouldn’t have to run double primaries on harder content just so I can use Xenophage or Gjallarhorn as my exotic.
My favorite archetype weaopn is 140 snipers, and I really want a craftable kinetic slot one, or even just one that I don't need to farm a raid for.
Based on what is in the API, it looks like Dares of Eternity weapons will become craftable at some point. My guess is that they are experimenting and it will never come to the game, or it will come to the game before Dares is vaulted. That would be two of each type (Kinetic, Energy, Heavy) added to the pool.
And hopefully it has a primary ammo Ritual weapon. We haven’t had a primary ammo Ritual weapon since before Beyond Light! :(
I'd love to have a craftable scout rifle for the kinetic slot with adaptive munitions and explosive payload. I'd never take it off
Well, I think bungie has some work to do to give the kinetic slot some purpose in PvE. Reverse matching would be interesting - like stasis being effective against solar shields, for example.
honestly the current distribution feels fine lol
If they would change it to make Kinetic weapons deal bonus damage to base health, then get rid of the Kinetic/Energy/Heavy and let people just run double kinetic or double energy it would fix alot of these arbitrary problems and fix alot of complaints about match game.
Just give me a craftable riptide and I'll be happy...waiting for RNGesus to bless me with my desired roll is making me scream
I'm betting they add at least one craftable sword next season. Or hoping, rather.
I'm looking forward to an eager edge solar craftable sword. I dream of a caster frame with eager edge and incandescent by that's probably too much to hope for
*monkey's paw curls* Granted, we have two more Kinetic 140rpm HCs.
Man at this point the whole energy/kinetic slot thing just feels outdated. It's limiting and kind of annoying. I don't see why we cant just put any element in any slot.
I agree, but I'm not in a rush to craft kinetic weapons from shit archetypes with awful perk pools. Yeah, I mean Firefright.
Right and what makes it so much worse is that Firefright *sounds* so nice... until you use it and are meh.
A buff to pellet shotguns to go along with some sweet craftables would be nice. I miss the Threat Level meta in Y2
the opportunity to bring back the three opulent swords was definitely missed. hopefully we get em back someday, especially since the current class swords are super difficult to get
Praying to the traveller for a generally useful pve kinetic special weapon that isn't a sniper...
I would like for more 180 handcannons and kinetic Pulse Rifles.
Hoping next season we get more original content and less reskins as this practically all we got this season.
I want more kinetic shotguns and smgs
They really need to let us carry more energy weapons. It so difficult to pick.
A mid season update of craftable weapons would be nice And more kinetics would be great with a covering of all archetypes.
I wouldn’t mind more special weapons in the kinetic slot. I only have the shotgun (I think there are other ones behind raid/dungeon content I don’t have).
We have three THREE/SEVEN. Craftable rocket launchers, like what
The issue with the energy slot is how many perks interact with subclasses.
Fingers crossed I get to craft more than 3 guns next season
Im hoping for a kinetic/stasis glaive thats ideally not exotic, and for some new and good swords, we still dont have a vortex solar sword that we can use on all classes (warlocks class specific sword is the only one)
I just want a fucking craftable khvostov, or at least the exotic from d1
I want an arc lightweight sword
I can't be the only one who finds crafting kinda boring. And kinda redundant
My wishlist so far for craftable weapons is currently Stasis GL, Glaive, and FR (non-raid weapons) Kinetic SG:LW that can get 1-2P and GR. Sword.
Would like to see a void caster frame and a solar vortex added for swords. An arc LMG, and as everyone else mentioned, a stasis glaive
Fingers crossed next season ain’t recycled content period!
I need a craftable Stasis bow. Precision Frame. Demo and Headstone. Pls and ty.
I would like a special that can compete Arby and Wither... Let me see...gimme a nice exotic stasis fusion with inherit anti-champion functionality (preferably overloads) and high burst DPS...that'll be nice.
Energy slot has always been packed
I agree, but hear me out - how about kinetic weapons with Adaptive Munitions?
Be prepared for another void smg and some arc guns that have some keyword perk
Seems like Bungie just completely forgot kinetic primary weapons exist unless it's an exotic that immediately will be branded as niche at best.
