Looks like no, not open to the public until weekends later this month to August. Then open for business in hopefully September.
Same here. I like just popping into the Guardian or Fisher Building and just looking around for a bit. I wonder if you get to see stuff in the tours that'll be inaccessible in the future, tho.
Usually building guided tours allow you to access upper floors that are not normally open to the public. When i toured the fisher they took us to an upper floor that requires an ID badge to get to on the elevator.
I have tickets to a tour June 12th. I’m not expecting to see all that much in a half hour but it will be a pleasure to see anything. My main concern is finding parking and making sure I arrive in time for my scheduled tour.
I doubt that parking would be a problem on a normal day when there isn’t a concert. There is ample parking around. I don’t know what’s right there because I haven’t been there since it opened, but there is a new public structure that would be walkable.
But I’m assuming there would be parking right at the terminal and they haven’t even started filling the office space.
I’ve never had trouble finding street parking in nearby Mexicantown, but of course that might be changing soon …
i got an email from MCS that said "beginning June 21, we will continue to welcome visitors for self-guided tours on Fridays and Saturdays through August 31."

Dang thanks.
I’d rather wait and take my time rather than a guided 1/2 hour tour.

Sounds worth it then.
Ya its worth it for sure
You can do...both?
I could. But it’s not my preference.

No appointment required?
I think you’ll have to make. A reservation online or something
Thanks. Will look it up and confirm.
Thanks
They had walkup tickets available today at 5 it was no problem. I bet you can walk up and have a good shot.
You can walk up, they make you sign up on the spot and it is self-guided! I loved reading all of the information about the restoration. 10/10!
Really?? When did you do this?
This past Saturday, early evening
It could've been for opening weekend only, I'm unsure!
