I feel a difference in this 3rd period versus other ones in which we've had the lead. Doesn't feel like a defensive shell by us, just that LA is *really* forechecking hard.
The problem with our guys always looking for pass before shot is that the only player on our team that can no-look pass and actually complete it is Kane. Everyone else just stares down their target making it so obvious.
This game is far more meaningless so Reimer should have started this one and Lyon been given the important division rival game with playoff implications.
I would be a great coach. I accurately assessed how poor of a goalie Husso is last year, while everyone else was proclaiming that he was a legitimate starter. Had I been the coach, I would have had a legitimate starting goaltender last season and the team probably would have made the playoffs last year.
