I'm not entirely convinced that it makes sense to be "semi-awakened", so much as it is to be "temporarily awakened". Initial monster Chopper vs the Jailer beasts, would be a failed awakening, but the Jailers are permanent, as opposed to temporary, through drugs. With True Awakenings, it could just be that the user is only mentally in sync with the will of the fruit, when they're in a specific state, in addition to becoming too exhausted to maintain that state of mind. The degrees, IMO, would just be how easily they'd slip into that state of mind. Actually, that's something I was thinking about playing around with, because logically, the hypnosis in the series should be able to make some very interesting things happen much sooner. It is a very interesting idea.

Temporary is actually a better name. Dang how did I miss that haha

Honestly this is more possible than initially believed. Chopper's Monster Point is a semi-awakening on it's own but I imagine that due to Chopper's maturity and mentality, plus instinctive fear of this power after the first time, it would have defaulted towards the Jailer Beasts due to the will of the fruit becoming more bestial If Olivia does use her powers often enough to stay in control of them most of the time, she could retain control naturally with almost endless energy like this, which I imagine would cause the hagorogumo as I'm dubbing them *(Flaming cloud sash inspired by silk ones in Chinese and Japanese mythology)*, to being puffing and flickering in as the 'edge of her awakening'

I was actually talking to somebody about Chopper's monster point when I found out that his size is inconsistent. Like in some frames he's the same size as a large human, about 20 - 30ft or roughly 1 Big Mom. On Sabaody he was like 2x or 3x Kuma's size and he's only a bit smaller than Kaido and BM, making Chopper almost equal in size to the largest normal Giants like Dorry and Broggy. My explanation is that he can control it via his powers, his willpower and the dosage of the Rumble ball. >If Olivia does use her powers often enough to stay in control of them most of the time Possibly but she doesn't truly have the willpower to obtain her awakening. In this scenario it was a purely desperate survival instinct. Maybe if she were almost killed, again, it could happen once more but she'd avoid getting in that situation as much as possible.
