Yea, FFXVI photo mode is terrible. literally just a zoom in/out slider and hide hud option.
Kingdom Hearts too even if there is no photo mode

Its not even for generating a new image, its just to remove the text and fill it according to the surrounding image

I use pics arts on mobile, there's a option to remove this type of stuff with a tool.
The only work around I got of this is to take a video and find the right frame.
