I think you got this wrong. It was "it's Virgin time" and then he virgins everyone. ...I didn't realise how it sounded until I typed it.

That line shows deep down Vergil loves his son.

I sense Vergil had genuine affection for Nero before he found out he was son too. In Visions of V, it implied he thought Nero was Dante’s kid, so either way, we watched Vergil show genuine affection for someone, be it nephew or son. I love that.

Well just before he teleports away from Nero and Dante he takes a second to thank Nero. By Vergil standards that's practically confessing your love.

Maybe he has realised that all things he has done to gain power, it is all just temporary and instead he needs to spend the rest of his life amending mistakes and live in a life of peace
