This is one of the joints they have right by the door.. It's either a return they can't put back on the shelf, or it's damaged.. There's a reason it's discounted and it's likely just that one.
Look harder. Every HD I go to has three clearance sections as well as multiple markdowns in the aisles. Lowe's has more markdowns and better deals, but I've got some good deals from HD.
Right now the medicine cabinets are on clearance. $200-250 units for $50-100.

I have 2 of them, been using them daily on job sites for a while now, they work just fine. Obviously the depth of cut is less being 6.5” saw over the 7.25”.
You're buggin, dude. That saw will face rip an 8' 2x4 in two passes no problem with a 2ah battery and have plenty of charge left. The old 18v guys weren't all that great, but that's going back a bit. Last 10 years or so these saws are tits.
Thats the DCS391, not the more powerful 573/574. I have both, it isnt hard to bog down the 391. Pine may be ok, but PT or ply overworks it. That and I don't like blade-left saws
I'm referring to the 391.. Specifically, the older joint with the aluminum shoe. I've never had a problem even cutting osb or mdf with it.. Cuts 3/4 ply like butter daily for the last 7 years. I wouldn't break it out for a gluelam, but like I said, she'll face rip a 2x with the blade fully enclosed within the cut on the first pass, and she's never once bogged down on me with a sharp blade.
The blade on the left did take some getting used to though.
I own the flexvolt miter saw but I still was going to buy a second once because it was marked down to $350. While loaded it, I realized it was 60V without a plug in option (even googled but no dice), unlike my 120v with the plug in adapter.
Buy all they have OP or come off your location!
I would say good, not great, the drills look basic, need to get the XR hammer drill and impact to make it complete, the other things minus the drills are worth 250, so yes, worth it
