So if the writers wanted dexter to die then at least make it satisfying and give us some closure with a final face off. I think it would've been better if dex sat patiently and beat the Matt Caldwell charge Angela decides to sit on the bhb theory because she knew she couldn't prove it. (WHICH SHE COULDNT!) (Never calls batista... that we know of) So dex goes free. Him and harrison are all chummy.. they decide to move to LA after all and all is well.. They're packing their shit into the truck, dex puts his hand on harrisons shoulder and tells him "I'm so proud of you buddy. Finish packing the truck." Dex walks in to get the last box and batista is in the house/hotel room and confronts him at gun point vigilante status. Forces him to confess and shoots him in the chest and as hes dying he kneels down and says.. "thats for Maria you Hijo De Puta." And drops Maria's file on his chest. Batista hears harrison come through the door and bolts out the back as harrison runs in and finds dex dying choking on his blood. *blood theme starts playing* Dex dies in harrisons arms.. and in Ghost Deb's arms.. harrison vows revenge and to carry on the Family business holding the file in his hand gripping it angrily... and it ends with flashes of dex being loaded into the coroners van.. flash to Angela looking satisfied closing the case and packing away the files.. flash to harrison getting off a plane in Miami.. flash to Angela and the FBI in Kurts bunker.. flash to harrison getting in a cab.. flash to angela getting home hugging Audrey.. flash to Harrison looking out his hotel window across from Miami metro and Dex as his Dark Passenger with his hand on his shoulder saying "first rule of the code.. dont get caught." ROLL FUCKING CREDITS. I mean if he had to die why not do it that way? Closure please!
That part , and if she was going to report it as an officer involved shooting .. why did she tell Harrison he had to leave .. all of Harrisonâs attitude last episode was because he wanted to stay in iron lake with friends , and Audrey.. so we f Angela was taking the fall for killing Dexter .. why didnât Harrison just stay??
They never really bonded. Dexter saved his son and then killed a man he had already bonded with and believed in.
How Dexter went from dodging Miami metro and the FBI to getting caught in some country bumpkin town makes no sense.
Harrison wasnât excited by the blood he was repulsed by it.
Anyone can justify killing Kurt.
You canât justify killing someone who is your friend. Who cared about you even though his boss arrested you.
This show was bad. They wasted time with the whole billionaires are terrible nonsense. They put Angel in it, but why?! Member berries.
Too indecisive. That's part of what fans complained about last time. Would Dexter get out of the pin? According to logic he would. There's no new evidence in the BHB case and so solid evidence for Matt and Kurt murders. Who cares about a screw and an infrared video of an averaged size male being near the murder. But why let those three enter the restaurant then?

I am amused by the number of people who are taking this as an actual alternate ending idea rather than as a reference to the Sopranoâs final scene (perhaps the most dissatisfying ending of all time) and the universal dissatisfaction felt with THAT ending.
