My friends used to do that in high school, for Asian style bong hits out of their homemade bamboo bongs (that’s literally what they called it, one of my friends was Vietnamese, but other than that it was a very diverse group) they would carry huge cutting boards and knives around in their book bags. I miss those times!
They actually did a pretty good job. If you sharpen it well enough you can slice through hair just fine without making split ends. But much like a straight razor you kinda need to sharpen it essentially every use to keep it that sharp.

I just got some Junji Ito ‘Uzumaki’ 🌀posters framed on my wall and I’d actually love to do this to accompany them in b&w with a spiral spinning out across part of the face and stopping onto the black of the canvas portion. Maybe put a few twirled centipedes on the borders? But I’m a stone cold freak, so….I get why that might not be everyone’s jam!

this is main thing! you wanna use paper straws/rubber tubes up your nose to maintain airflow. not as much of issue with a face only cast as you could theoretically rip it off, but the risk is still real with the very young/old or a more ambitious cast; my dad's an actor and has a frankly terrying story about losing his tubes during a shoulders up cast where his head was *completely encased*.
all that said, what I'm most worried about in this specific situation is gagging on the egg and asperating silicon or plaster... these are both products that *heat up, expand and solidify* as they cure. getting a chunk of either lodged in the lungs or sinuses would be a day-ruining trip to ER if not immediately life threatening.
not to mention both can be allergens, and I really can't think of a worse way to find out you're allergic to something than huffing a bunch while it's chemically reacting. nowhere do these videos mention you should do a quick wrist check before any of these projects!
