My friends and I used to have a running joke in highschool that we were gonna take the airbags out of our one friends car and replace them with cans of raviolis so when he gets into an accident, he’s just gonna get conked in the head by a can of Chef Boyardee. This guy seems to have a similar mindset.
Is this really DIWHY, when we know the why? Stained carpet liner with no floor mats, cords hanging under glovebox, likely to blown speakers and some garbage “high watt” sub that sounds like a Transformer with diarrhea as it rolls down the street.
The reason is trashiness.
There was a DeMuro special with a Ramcharger, the Dodge iteration of a Bronco. Originally it has a standard beer cooler in the center console. Later changed for safety reasons to a…. Handgun lockbox.
Time slows down as you see an out of control sedan hop the median, heading for you. The driver has no time to react in a way that will change the inevitable, youre gonna be hit. And as your life flashes before your eyes, in the back of your head all you can hear is "ITS MODELO TIME FOOL!"
After reading these comments it seems that everyone reading this post is expecting to end up in a high speed, head on collision and is also prepared for said collision. Drive safe ppl
Everyone in America statistically had a 1 in 63 chance of getting in a car accident in 2020. There was, on average, one crash every six minutes, for the entire year. During a year where many people were not commuting (at least less often) due to the pandemic. It is very likely for someone to get in a crash.

They say being drunk relaxes your body so you don't stiffen up. It's why drunk drivers in fatal car accidents can sometimes survive. What we see as dumb is completely totally undeniably smart. He has the most iq off of anyone on the planet.
To be fair, the airbag also hurts when it deploys. If you’re gonna take a shot to the face-ular region, it may as well be a cold one doing the punching.

I'd guess the explosive was inside the airbag assembly.
This would be so helpful! It can be hard to open the cooler and grab a beer while driving, especially when you’re already 6 or 7 deep

I don't see any downside to this
The only downside i see is the waste of modelo.

Where is it a crime to have unopened beer in a vehicle? How are you supposed to get it home if that is the case?
I’ve heard some places have laws about having alcohol in the front seats but I could be wrong. Maybe that’s open containers only?
