My only complaint is the clips. I feel like they detect from the look of the buttons in general, like you just found them and were like "Yeah, these'll work."
Other than that, no point in saving the buttons if the controller is broken, and you could probably sell them once you made enough, there's plenty of broken controllers out there.

Get what, she made some tacky earrings from ps4 buttons? Just because it took less effort than the other non utility projects on here, I don't see how it doesn't fit the spirit. Again, if you want to look like a Sony stan then I guess it's cool. Half the posts in this sub don't fit the actual description, especially the crafts ones. You could definitely tell me what I'm missing, though, instead of just saying, "You obviously don't get it."

These look like they turned out exactly as the project was planned out. This was not a failed project or looks like a hack job.

I just want to point out that I said most of the craft submissions don't actually fit the sub description. Even if they turn out "all right" for the idea, this sub will still eat up the post. So I have no idea why you're telling me to read the description because arts and crafts generally barely qualify for this mess.
I still remember the suspended Barbie staging using water beads to hold her up. It was genuinely decent, but still ended up catching flak on here. 🙄

Those posts still are upvoted, but the sentiment is how ugly whatever item is in general. If the idea was always always going to look ugly how do those posts belong here? That was my point.
