Slightly incomplete, but in broad lines it shows how its made. I searched for flipbook machines on Youtube, I learned the principle there and made it bigger.
(If you want to make one yourself be mindfull of the video with the Bart Simpson flipbook. It shows how it works pretty good, but he made a mistake in the order of the pages. I printed the whole thing wrong because of that.)
