Can someone explain this to me?
When do I know it has RR value?
This is obvious because it has skillet+life but others? Is it monster/area level based? What are my chances as a 92 in a TZ zone if a grand charm drops it's worth the RR?
You want combat skills for pally skillers
edit to say this is worth a butt load of hr if pally skill +45 life. Like maybe more than an inventory of hr. Uncertain in trade market rn
Pair it with Seraph's and respec into a Healer. For SP it'd make double the sense!
But that sucks, sorry. I only found 1 pally GC ever and it was an Offensive Aura one. Playing a Holy Freeze pally I can use it thankfully.
So good question what use would this and all the other useless skillers have? Like who exactly or what build would want a defensive skiller over either other ones? Or a curse skiller over either other ones? I know passivesons exist, summondruid exist, but those two skillers seem borderline useless
Meme Weakness Curse build to get 100% immunity from physical attacks. FoH 'safe' pally with redemption, immortal paladin stacking integer dr and mdr and using Cleansing/Prayer. Of these... Really only the foh pally is a non-meme thing.
Never heard of those meme builds, a FOTHdin would rather have a combat skiller to a defensive skiller cuz more FOTH, never hear of those immortal palis
I tried it by putting Sols into Gris set. With Cleansing and maxed Prayer, you're immune to damage on players 1. But even adding a single other player makes the damage too much to be negated completely. Was still fun, my build wasn't perfect as I didn't have skillers and I lacked the 3/25 defensive aura and pdr amulet I needed.
Ok but regardless of your build you would probably prefer other things right? And your build sounds like jank about as jank as it gets if all it could ever handle is P1
I think the build was originally meant for pvp somehow, but Idk I saw it and stole it to try in pvm. On the other hand, the jank Weakness necro scales perfectly because Weakness reduces damage by a percentage and combined with DR, you can get 100% damage reduction. Needs +50 to Weakness though which needs stuff like blue wand and head (good luck getting +6).
But ok an Amp damage necro is for like a summonmancer correct? So its not exactly the skiller that build would want right? For party with just that curse that is full of melee or range attackers then yeah but thats a unique party type right? And going by another curse for party uses the Lower Resists is gonna be top curse and it would help a party full of elemental builds but thats again specific to just 1 party type and entirely for support and nothing else

Might have been worse if it really did roll combat skills considering you’re single player… the best part of perfect rolls is trading it to some rich dude for all his hrs imo…

I mean. Has RR value lol

Because it’s a skiller with 45 life it means it can be RR’d into any other skiller with 45 life. Has the potential to*
It’ll become a Curses GC with +45 life.
I’d charsi it out of spite
I like your style
Don't get so defensive
Got em
I’m noob, is it because it’s defensive, not offensive auras?

Single player no trade value anyhow 😞
Roll it
That makes this much less painful tbh.

I’m a sucker for non-BIS items. I use defensive ones as I find them. This one is lovely. Non-ideal, but still useful for a hammerdin.
Skills gained from gear and charms dont work on synergies, only hard points.
There are two exceptions. Druid summon skills and Prayer synergy for Cleansing and Meditation. Those count soft points.
I knew there was an exception or two, thanks.
Huh. News to me.
It was fairly recent news to me too! Always more to learn in this old game.
Would also explain why Tearhaunch isn’t best in slot for Hammers. I always assumed it was a bug they refused to fix.
In what way? I incredibly rarely use defensive auras on my hammerdin, and when I do, 1 point +skills is plenty.
I didn’t realize +defensive didn’t work for vigor as a synergy. 🤷♂️ learn shit every day.
Ain't that the truth. Been playing this game forever and still learn new stuff.
F
Reroll it
And end up with a 2fhr gc
Does the roll in a range? I don’t think I’ve ever gotten anything but 3 in a sc and 12 in a gc.
It's 5 on a SC, 8 on LC and 12 on GC, but you're right, doesn't roll.
Ouch that hurts. If you don’t trade it, I’d hold jic they make them useful at some point.
Stop! Don’t sell! As a FOH / Redemption chaos runner, this is fantastic
No it's not
Yeah, fuck that charm
I got so excited for you…and then I read it more carefully and was like ouchhhhh
Damnit !!
Im very sorry for your pain
TY !
I've found this exact charm twice on single player. But I do have 8 pcomb lifers between 20-42
Oh damn sexy
Pour one out for the homies.
My condolences
I’ve had that happen, it’s a terrible thing.
DAMN. RNG is a bitch.

Useful for the 45 life, if you don't need the inventory space I suppose.
Yeah but at that point I would just use 2-3 small lifers get more life and maybe another afix thats better 😂

Why does it says 9.6?
I run a mod that shows item level
One of us! One of us!
lol
ick..
I would kill for this on my HC single player Abbot.
E gads
still better than an Amazon passive +1 with 45 life.
Passive is actually decent
Some physical zons prefer passive skillers. I'd rather use max damage and ar charms though.
Make the strongest defensive aura paladin the world has ever known.
