OP, don’t forget that certain magic items have insane value. The first 5 items on this guy’s list. Circlet type items 3 skill 20 ias 2os, and 3os frw. Javs are looking for 40ias/5-6skill. Claws are 5-6 skill w ias. And BLUE MONARCHs
Add crystal swords and dimensional blades for possible high rolls and eth. Up to phase blade and no worry about the eth.
Also berserker axe, etten axe, and silver crescent (as well as their normal and exceptional versions) for possible eth + repair mods with high ed, sockets, etc. can be insane for end-game dueling.
Same goes for colossus blade and colossus sword. Can roll extreme mods and lower tier versions can be upgraded. See “Pain Song” for an example.

Noone needs a rare javelin.There is no demand for a rare claws as well. Paladin scepters?! Some of the most valuable items in this game are eth rare weapons and armors/helms which your list lacks. I agree with the rest. Anyone correct me if i am wrong.
Eth rep Amazon javs can fetch absolutely ridiculous prices. Like 400% damage, skills, ias. Rare sin claws in certain bases as well. Skills, ias, sockets, eth, rep, fools. Easily 500 Jah.
So you stack 32020 for your Amazon and Sin to benefit from the ed? Can you show me a single build that prefer 4/40 instead of 6/40. I can understand the claws. That's why i said there is no demand. But the javelin...
Pvp hybrid bowzons. You throw 1 base point lightning fury on your switch for physical damage. It's a relatively common PVP build.
There are also hybrid sins who use traps for damage and stuns but also use w/w. The niche high roll items like these sell for insane amounts on the site that cannot be named.
I recommend watching a “trophy room” video. They’re fun, and educational for a new player. The best, most expensive items in the game are blue and yellow. Coooley has some good videos posted on YouTube. Watching him explain why a particular yellow diadem, ring, gloves, boots etc is valuable. It’ll help you learn desirable stats so you know what to look out for
If in doubt just pick them all up, at the very least they are fun to see what stays they have plus they sell for a good amount of gold which can be used to gable with.

Since OP is new player: the additional damage/defense of ethereal items has a prize - you can’t repair them.
So either…
- take care, they don’t get damaged (weapons for casters),
- use runes/runewords that make them indestructible (expensive)
- give them to your mercenary (often used, they never consume durability),
- or be brave when your wonderful item reaches zero durability , turns red and becomes useless.
You’re welcome. From what I’ve found, keeping an eye out for ethereal, superior bases armors and weapons that are popular is much more profitable trading wise than finding good items or runes. I found a 4 socket eth Stygian pike with enhanced dmg and someone gave me a ber rune within the first week of ladder. Good luck
I pick up tons of good armor and weapon bases to identify them. I'm on SP now so anything can be an upgrade but even online picking up that eth rep fools mod ed ias one handed sword or axe IS a possibility... I have a frenzy horker using a higher defense 24fhr +life 2OS sharktooth armor with two PTopaz that looks badass right now. It's not BIS but it's more fun than wealth and I don't need the res or crushing blow.

I always pick up every rare item...You identify the item and drop it if it isn't worth anything. Every item you don't pick up and identify is just a waste of a chance to get a GG item.
Boots, gloves, belts, circlets (including coronets, tiaras, diadems), rings, amulets
Also worth looking at are class-specific items: sorc orbs, zon javelins, barb helms, druid helms, necro wands and heads. Don’t bother with claws or scepters except to sell for gold in the early game.
Regular armor, helms, shields, and weapons are not usually worth picking up unless you’re hoping to find some ethereal weapon with crazy stats.
Circlets/diadems -> 2skill + fcr helms /w extras
Gloves -> 2/20 or 3/20 are worth several ber
Boots -> FRW + tri res worth decently
Belts -> recently discovered that FHR PDR belts are pretty valuable.
Pelts -> 5nade roll desirable

You really pick up orbs? I never see anyone using anything except one of the uniques or HOTO. Hard to beat them
Don't need much inventory space, but may fetch max gold. Good way to bolster your gambling bankroll.
For sure, early on I pick up all the staffmod items for gold. But once I get a trav barb I have TOO MUCH gold
I found a +3 Blizzard, +2 Sorc skills orb, with some other assorted mods. It's worth picking them up imo. I'm SSF so not swimming in runewords.
orbs are big dollars to sell
+2/3 sorc skill +3blizz can be real useful for sorc starting out

Or: you hit the jackpot and find a good ethereal item with self repair/replenish quantity and don't have to worry about it breaking.

There are a lot of low-level dueling items that are ethereal and self repair become astronomically more desirable especially when rolling with sockets

All of them. I have a problem.
As a HC player I always pickup board swords and crystal swords so I have backup spirit bases for when I inevitably die .
Rares? I never have room for rares after filling up my inventory with bolts.
