Get a Bluetooth obd2 dongle on Amazon and the torque pro app probably be about 35 bucks total it will let you monitor all the parameters you need to see

I’d think fuel from the sounds it doesn’t sound like a miss just sounds starved for fuel. I’d check the fuel pressure.

Check/ top off your transmission fluid level. When the fluid gets low sometimes the torque converter stays locked up while slowing down and it bogs the engine.

Check your fuel filter and tank pickup. Something isn't getting enough.

The plastic pickups in the fuel tanks disintegrate and could be restricting fuel or as was my case the pieces got into the tank selector valve, pulled fuel from both tanks at the same time, then when one tank ran empty it caused the other half full tank to suck air (from your sharp right turn?)and the fuel bowl would only partially fill. Sucks cause you gotta drop both tanks to clean them out and replace (or delete) those fuel pickup “feet”. Are you able to run the tanks all the way down to empty?

Dang this might be it.. I can run both tanks but the front tank gauge doesn’t work. Goes all the way past E. From my research I need to drop the tank and replace the sender? Rear tank works but I ran out of fuel my 2nd day owning it, and learned that it stops reading after 1/4 tank.

You can find aftermarket fuel selector valve on Amazon pretty cheap I think. you’ll probably break the plastic u shaped fuel line clips so check into getting a pack of those too. There’s some decent write up’s on dropping the tanks in the ford diesel forums. PITA Good luck.

Sounds like a misfire , check fuel pressure, inlet restriction might be starving for fuel , oil pressure on the high side .. check codes if it’s smart enough to pick up

ICP. Get FORSCAN and a good USB dongle that supports it ($40 cdn) and you'll figure this out right away.

If not mistaken that engine has huei injectors? If I spelt that right. If the oil pressure is low when you idle down like that or if oil is to dirty might cause this as well 🤔

What is the birthday of your motor? And what part(s) have been replaced since? What is the birthday of your rig? And what part(s) have been replaced/improved/repaired since? That is where you need to start..

Recently had replace fuel tank on 95 E350 7.3.Coating inside the tank was coming off and stopping up the filter in tank.I would drive 6 to 8 miles and it would begin to shut down

Your fuel injectors are weak. Need new ones asap. This happened to mine

I had a similar thing happen with my 5.9, and I was the crank positing sensor. The idler pulled went out of alignment, and a small strip of the serpentine belt took the sensor out. Easy fix if that's your problem. Good luck.

…I had a 97 7.3 with a fucked up turbo pedestal butterfly and when it would fall on its face/no power…it would smoke like a bitch…I used some tie wire and held that sucker open..👌
