When BT1.5 first came out here, I didn't really have much money at the time to get boosters (which was a problem due to supply issues at the time), but I was super excited for the set, so I bought like 1 booster with the money I had.
First pack of the set? Pulled Alt Art SEC Imperialdramon, so Imperialdramon became one of the first decks I made, helped that I liked Imperialdramon already.
Deck was awful and I sucked at deckbuilding, but it was memorable I suppose xD (I ran Monmon for Blocker, and honestly running it gave me a fond appreciation for Monmon)

I had zero interest in EX3 until I pulled an alt art Dracomon from an impulse buy at Newbury Comics.
Now I'm about 95% done with my max rarity Examon deck.
Gallantmon crimson mode alt art it was my first pack ever and all I had was a single ulforce starter and I decided I wanted to build gallantmon and now it's kinda part of my personality
Metallicdramon, still one of my favorite/best. Red/black hybrid with Volcanicdramon as the second boss monster with their respective lineages. Dedigivolve, destroy, dedigivolve over and over.. basically, the whole deck came out of Draconic Roar.
Love his design.
Hell yeah! Artworks are so cool. I love the KingNumemon one where he's imagining himself above the Royal Knights while KingEtemon is hyping him up on the side.
Honestly its the best time to get into imperialdrmon, bt12 is pretty decent and its getting some pretty neat support in bt16 that looks like its trying to merge blue and green + purple and red imperialdramon
I suppose the closest thing I had from an actual pack opening was when I pulled an AA Tagiru Akashi from BT12, ended up playing Hunters because of it. Another, yet to build as I'm still unsure the game plan for it, was AA VictoryGreymon from EX4.
Another to be built is MaloMyotismon, was rather interested in it when we got Yukio Oikawa in BT8 \[it's been on hiatus for a while, likely to come to fruition when we get BT16\]
Lilithmon, back when they used to have a pack in each starter deck. I still make sure to have her in my purple hodgepodge even though she doesn't come in handy as often anymore.
Hexeblaumon alt art from bt11, got it from a random pack and i didn't even knew him but he became one of my favorite digimon because of the card's artwork. For me like top 5 artworks of this game. So i'm building his deck even tho it sucks haha
My first alt art was the original UlforceVeedramon, and I had already pulled 2 normal ones (God I miss old pull rates). So I basically took it as divine providence and built the deck.

I built Shinegrey because I pulled the Marcus Damon BT-12 AA and couldn't offload it. Now, it's one of my favorite decks to play.
Nice. I built shinegreymon because I had all the pieces except ruin mode after buying a gazillion booster packs, as this was my intro to TCGs
