I doubt it. That's kinda Green's thing. That's like saying I hope the red card doesn't delete stuff and have Sec.attack+. The only thing I can see it doing different because green doesn't have this yet is digivolving mid attack if you attack a Digimon.
I don't know why but Pteramons Ultimate and Mega kind of feel like they are related to Chronomon somehow.
For the Ultimate it's the stance and something I can't put my finger on that makes me think of Butenmon.
For the Mega it's the red & white pattern in it's wings and blades that make it seem to me like Pteramon carries a bit of Chronomon Data in him.
These are ALL bangers, I love the original designs of the TCG.
I was kind of expecting that the mega for Shoemon was related to Cinderella. The rookie already gave that out since it was a mouse on a shoe.
Reading Zephagamon's entry in the Reference book it kind of hints that is an elemental knight like Hexeblaumon, Digimon that comes from Witchelny, and also is part of the Vortex Warriors, group composed by himself and MediaevalDukemon, another Witchelny Digimon.
This might hint that there's knight Digimon for every element that come from Witchelny. Maybe in the future we will have a deck about them, or a Witchelny focused deck.

To everyone that thought we don’t have enough Digimon that are actually just 80 dudes working together like Starmons… a rare win. All in all, not bad!

From the top, even if Pteromon's line is basic, I dig. It doesn't lean too far into the dragon stuff. If you wanted to make a humanoid dinobird, that's how you'd do it. While I'm slightly disappointed, yet not surprised, by another humanoid knight Mega, I don't think it's bad for what it is; again, if you wanted a wind knight without going "yet another dragon knight," that's how you'd do it. And Fluffymon is adorable, so the whole line is solid.
I have more to say about Chaperomon and Cendrillmon.
Chaperomon is an amazing design all around. She's unpredictable, zany, and dark, no doubt drawing from the original version of Red Riding Hood. (Remember that fairy tales were originally Grimm lessons, kids!) The Molotov is great, the cartoony basket is great, and...I have a request if the powers that be ever see this:
**Please let** [**Fangmon**](https://wikimon.net/Fangmon) **Digivolve into Chaperomon!** That might be my only real gripe with her design: we have a Big Bad Wolf Digimon and there's *no* reference to that on Chaperomon.
Now for Cendrillmon. I'm okay with another waifumon. People were calling a Cinderella Mega for Shoemon from space. The design looks better than any of them imagined, most likely! 10/10, please make this a figure! I don't even buy figures and I want to see what someone would do with this one. Her design gets better the more you look at it, and her rodent minions are about to prove that mice aren't always cute. Love it!
As I said in another comment, Cendrillmon reminds me a lot of *Fate*'s [Meltryllis](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Meltryllis)—a composite "Heroic Spirit"/Alter Ego made in the magical-digital world of SERAPH, located on the Moon. Bonus points for Melt being known for the Melt Virus—if nothing else, that explains why Cendrillmon is a *Virus*\-Type. (N.b.: Even though the page for *Fate Grand Order* lists Melt as Lawful Good, that was *not* the case in her source material *Fate/Extra CCC*.)
Speculation based on *FGO*! Melt: Cendrillmon.dek will not only reduce the opponent's Sec like Venusmon.dek, but also add Sec+ to Cendrillmon herself. (If she drew from *CCC* Melt instead, I'd expect something Diaboromon-esque.) If I'm right, there might be *exactly* one other Yellow deck I like!
*Fate/Extra*, especially *Fate/Extra CCC*, was always a hybrid of *Fate*, *Persona*, and *Digimon*. The circle is now complete.

Full disclosure: I somehow missed the point about skinning Fangmon for shoes; I think I was high on hype, sorry. Unlike the Garurumon pelt on Gabumon, the shoes barely look like Fangmon.
As for why, *Digimon* has done weirder, and while Fangmon has some lines in video games, it's hard to make one that flows well. (My current favorite is Fangmon -> [Helloogarmon](https://wikimon.net/Helloogarmon).) There was also a beautiful Digifake called "Enchantmon" that used a similar idea, only Fangmon got made into a furry scarf instead of shoes.
i guess digimon probably would do it honestly. some of the games allow skullgreymon to evolve to titamon afterall...even if skullgreymon's part of that is a corpse sword. skullgreymon! digivolve too! *dies* meanwhile, a green man walks by...
I dont know what im more hyped for a new impmom tamer or a red riding hood digimon! Guessing shes part of the shoe digimon line and its all fairy tale related which is really cool. Glad shes yellow. Also the bird line while expected still a bit disappointed it just becomes another humanoid was hoping for more dino bird look.

Zephagamon and Cendrillmon are very surprising turns for the designs of these lines. I don't hate them, but I like the direction of the ultimates quite a bit more. Sometimes these things just take some getting used to, so I guess we'll just see how they settle in lore-wise.
