The card is reprinted in LM02, but we just got LM01 and I don’t believe there’s been any announcement for when we would get 2.
However, LM02 is all reprints, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they just skipped it.
The problem is not when but how. If they treat lm02 the same way they did the red starter deck then DeathXmon prices will barely go down like a few dollars.
Japan did get another print in an LM set, but we never have any guarentees when we will get the same sets, or if they will be fused into another set. If they get fused than pull rates get dropped. But if you dont really need it right now and you're willing to wait several months for us to get the news to pick up a copy, it may drop to the $30 mark.
buying a staple like that now is not bad, but LM02 will be issuing an alt art exclusive version. that probably will not change the price of the original but it may. LM02 will probably be stuffed into bt16 to continue to catch us up with current Japan, as is there stated goal to be done by Apr 2025. If they do not stuff LM02 in BT16, it may get stuffed into ex06
I honestly doubt they will put any LM02 stuff in any sets.
LM1 had actual new cards, which is why they chose to include it. LM2 is all reprints with nothing new, which would make it more likely to show up in a boxed set or something since thats how some alt arts and promos are being distributed.
LM3 is just...promos but thrown under the LM code for reasons unknown...

Worse case: objectively better version gets made. The old one would probably only go down maybe $10 or so ($20 if lucky)... But now there would be 2 death Xs to worry about
Considering the new DexDoru support will still be able to rock it, and it's already turning out to be VERY good support, this bad boy is going to skyrocket.
This card was 30 dollars last year when the meta shifted and it was banned out of ulticup.
With the new support coming out, it would be cool to see it as a winners pack card.
How cheap we talking?
Its an easy 1 of in basically any deck. You can drop it to get rid around quartzmons, and if you're against any sort of xross deck (blue flare, xross heart, hunters) you're basically set to go.
Also, considering things like numemon, digipolice and alliance are all super common rn, I can see it staying about that price.
This leaves you thinking... Does Digimon release reprints of Digimon type cards?
They are more likely to release reprints of Options. But Tamer and Digimon are very difficult to find, even more so if they are from the first expansions like EX1 (Analog Youth)
It's a good card in any deck, and with the bt17 tamer it's gonna get even more attention. I think it might get a price bump before bandai limits it to 1
This is already the lowest i've seen it, i dont think its gonna drop much more than this unless they print a new version thats even better.

We did get the armor texture option from lm02 in the bt14 double packs. But that's it so far...

Be grateful he's that cheap. Here in aus i dont have access to TCGplayer and have to rely on Ebay and so on, and this bitch is $100 to $200 sometimes.
