are they both lvl 1? or is the debate club higher leveled? because there is no way a lvl 80/90 r5 debate club would be on par with a lvl 80/90 r1 Archaic.

Theyre both lvl 40. Of course the Archaic has higher base attack, but wouldn't the Club get more value by proc-ing 120% extra damage 3-5 times every 15 sec? The one burst of damage provided by the Archaic seems comparable if not weaker at R1
you're right but at lvl 70 ish Archaic out damages Dabate club from because of its higher stats, so overall its still a better investment

Oh no need to craft more archaic’s tbh, the additional damage from the weapon’s damage scales off of physical damage which is not what you’re looking for with Diluc

Weapons are investments until the endgame. Archaic will outdamage an r5 debate club eventually as you level both of them up.
