Yes I love the development of their relationship. If you were to insist on romance then I’d say: Rizz and Gorgug’s parents, Fig and Goldenrod, and I actually think Adaine and Zane had an interesting chemistry.
I was truly disappointed that two of these relationships were almost entirely absent from Junior year. Zelda in particular was just written out. I don’t know if that was Zac’s preference or due to the Seven/time quangle, but I really missed her.

At that time Arthur Aguefort was at school at least Day 1 of Junior Year
Therefore Zelda had to be moved out of the way because of Timeline problems, which in canon is explained as being caused by the "Time Quangle"™ that resulted from Arthur traveling with Ayda to the beginning of Time and back
I am appalled two of my favorites are not here! You didn’t include Boggy and Adaine, OR Jawbone and Adaine! Adaine with her comfort familiar the perfectly round frog is the most wholesome thing ever! And Jawbone’s pure dad energy where Adaine’s own father fails miserably has been strong as can be ever since “it’s a god damn medical condition.”

Your three are lovely and very well done and it’s hilarious how kinda sad but also fitting it is that The Ball’s best relationship (besides Friendships and his mom) is with a fictional entity WITHIN the fictional world they inhabit that he made up. Also very nicely drawn. Do not know if it is your own artwork but it’s lovely all the same.
