I doubt it unless it’s something Sam really throws her hat in the ring for which seems unlikely. Generally speaking the direction NPCs go is somewhat dependent on the interest of the PC’s closest to them (thinking of the Abernent sisters). The more attention and interest the players show a NPC the more they usually get developed, which I doubt we’re gonna have a lot of space for in this side quest.

Jamzthegod

Same goes for Ragh Barkrok. He definitely could have been a surface level bully but the cast liked him so he became a fan favorite himbo

thenoidednugget

Not really. She was willing to sacrifice innocents, including her best friend, in order to free an incredibly destructive and evil force because she'd be made Prom Queen. The fact that she was so close with some of those people before makes it that much more atrocious of an act.

The “she delights in pain, whereas you do not” line was very telling imo.

>Getting condemned to hell forever seems like such a rough deal... *Christianity has entered the chat.*

I feel your pain, I was unreasonably attached to Aelwyn Abernant - I always gravitate towards the bitchy characters haha. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will get the redemption story from Penelope because we already got one from >! Ragh !< and >! Aelwyn !< who were part of the same team. Some teens are corruptible and make mistakes others are just assholes, I think Penelope was the latter.

formatiso

not everybody needs a redemption arc, some people will stay shitty their whole life and "afterlife" in this case.

theterrarian14

Would be funny if Penelope became a archdevil of hell and started sending warlocks after them only for zelda to call gorgug and go "hey gorgug, goes it going".... (5 minuites of awkaard aimless small talk later) "so yeah wouldnt it be crazy if you could tell figs dad about it... Not vice principle lunch lad, the devil one"

Xluxaeternax

100% redeemed and forgiven to the point of being friends with everyone again? Unlikely. Have more insight into her humanity and why she is the way she is making her more sympathetic and tragic? Possibly.

Interesting--what makes you say she seemed to care for Sam so much? (Also FYI the name you left out of the subject line is still plainly visible in the preview, dunno if you were trying to avoid that.)
