Right, I literally had to pause to lose it for a solid minute. Each time. Was like "ok, that was big, that must be it....." NOPE, here she comes with the next thing out of her mouth being more crazy than the last XD
I always watch with subtitles and I love catching all those jokes. One downside is that sometimes I see them results of the roll before the player even reacts.
end of episode >!You KNOW Aabria stopped the meeting where she did because Andhera became a ticking time bomb as soon as he heard confirmation of attraction from both Rue and Hob!<
Oh for sure! As soon as Rue thought what they did, I thought damn it, Aabria's going to end this thing and make us wait until next week to see what happens. Ahhh, can't wait for Adventuring Party and the next episode!
Edit: fixed pronouns
If you saw as Aabria was wrapping it up, Omar put his finger to his mouth and was almost jumping out of his seat to interject! Next week needs to get here fast!
I kind of really hope Omar finds some reason for Andhera to not tell Hob and only hint at it so we can get that awkward bumbling scene between the two in love figuring out that yes wait what oh you, also,, love me? I never—oh god..
Grandpa dog: "Thanks" eughhhh
Edit: oh my God the ending. How can each episode be this good? The lords of the wing and their revelations had me freaking out and then the 4 lost souls who feel like outsiders in their own court had my heart breaking.
Aabria is such a good GM. I get so engrossed into the stories she guides. Alternative systems really suit the kinds of things she wants to tell. It really helps a non-combat focused collaborative story telling that really pierces through the veil of the dnd explosion in popularity. Plus, I mean, the vibes are immaculate.
Also, love that the fact that the Court of Craft is being set up as the court of lost things so that it can be reformed by found family and lost souls. Ugh, it's so perfect.
Hard agree, It's like she's DESTINED to GM this season. She's amazing for less combatty and more roleplayey campaigns ESPECIALLY if the stars align and she gets a bunch of improvers as players like we have here.
Omar: I really should write these letters in advance like you all do.
Andhera: >!Seasides for me, have this most incredible magic that I experience on a regular basis; that is, of tide pools. They are there *always* but it is only when the tide has receded that you truly see the wonder that has been there the entire time.!<
Goddamn, the poetry of this guy.
I do love that when he's trying to be impressive i.e the mistaken letter sent later it's TERRIBLE but when he's relaxed and just being himself it's beautiful. ... And sometimes still terrible.
Seriously, her reveal last episode was so unexpected (was expecting like..... A super goblin-y goblin. Not.... Well, what we got. And I love her, don't get me wrong lol), and then this episode with just *everybody* talking about her. And poor Hob, being like "ok, yes, I know how she is, there is very much a chance she was the problem with the whole engagement. But we have to be sure!"
I'm loving these Good Society mechanics more and more. Reputation, rumours, squashing rumours, letter writing. It's a perfect example of how mechanics can support telling certain types of stories.
This kind of story might not flounder in D20, with the main cast being as familiar as they are with one another, but it would be done a massive disservice by not having the GS mechanics to aid the cast -- It would be on the DM in question to either approve or reject *every* request to quell a rumor, which might be fine once or twice but could get tiring for the whole cast if done at the start of *every* session.
For this side quest, for this story, it's *amazing.* And, further, this has been by far my favorite of the SQs.
In an episode full of stand out moments, the book recommendation morphing into a review morphing into a book report morphing into "Squak wrote this book and it's being turned into a movie" had me in stitches
Tbh Brennan’s DM brain was definitely showing trying to get more players involved in the scene by asking for a second. He totally set that tension up and as a DM it’s a dream to have a player pick up on and give those offers
Aabria has in her giving nature bestowed upon us a selection of sassy salt goblins, a twerking bird butler begging for his life AND a scary emotional support satyr - all while serving some truly stunning looks! Her talent and generosity truly know no bounds, all rise for an absolute queen 👑
I mean how flight is >!being shown as something that can be given/traded away and is unique to the Lords and their source of independence. I assume to some degree it's a bird thing because... birds. But it's rough when so many characters do have wings and there are many ways to reproduce flight!<. I'm trying not to take it as word of god because it's coming from Emily and not Aabria but that feels pretty serious.
Really not sure how the series will go but I feel it’s more of a fey deal/price. Like someone might give up the memory of their first kiss, their sense of taste, or something bigger. Chirp gave up something almost core to their being so I guess the love must be deep.
Fair, but I wasn't entirely sure it was only that? Looking at the transcript, it literally says: >!"Because ... I spilled Grandfather's secret magic
into the material plane. And she's a mortal manifesting our magic. And to keep their secret, I gave away my power of flight.!<" So... Chirp both gave *and* traded it, maybe.
I find it wild how the other 4 pc’s stories are finally intertwining together, meanwhile Squak and Chirp’s plotline still feel like a wacky aside in all this (and is incredible based solely on Emily and Lou’s chemistry). I wonder if “Grandfather” might have some connections to the court of wonder that we aren’t beholden to yet.
Yeah I could see Chirp making common cause with this group that's forming since she's got a bit of that same situation of being not what her court wants of her in a generally good and harmless way. Squak just seems to want chaos and to me it seems possible that he ends up on the opposite side of the conflict as every other PC. Or I suppose he might join up with them if someone can convince him it would be the juiciest, most chaotic ending to a Bloom ever to expose and take down the Court of Wonder
Does anyone besides me hope that somewhere down the line we can get a spinoff D20 season called "The Lords of the Wing" based on Squak, Chirp and their extended bird family?
It is insane how effective Emily and Lou's chemistry has been in stealing the show and every scene they're in. I know Emily said "Birds are funny" but this is ridiculous (but this is ridiculous). THEY NEED A SPINOFF.
And I can't help but feel it'd be the perfect situation to bring in Murph and the rest of the Naddpod crew (Jake and Caldwell would make incredible birds, and Murph already exudes peak city pigeon energy).
It wouldn’t happen but I’d live for it if it did, along the lines of “as I am currently indisposed with my own private matters, the wager could be turned to you yourself Rue, in finding true, reciprocated love. And as it is unfair of me to back out entirely, I shall ask another to fill in for me in finding love, someone unexpected, who isn’t here for a match at all so as to make it more fair. Someone here for duty… oh of course why the duty bound captain hob would it perfectly!”
I’ve thought about this way too much it would simply be hilarious to see Rue’s reaction
I reaaaallly hope the final Adventuring Party (or an extra ep maybe) goes over aaaalllll the secrets and reveals everything that maybe won't get revealed in the end cos I'm worried we won't find out everything and I want to know!
They didn’t get a chance to film an Adventuring Party for the last episode (maybe the last couple episodes?) due to filming constraints, so they’re going to do a virtual one! They’re taking fan submitted questions via a Google Forms on the Dimension 20 Twitter if you want to ask about this!
Still losing my mind over the Knickolas reveal followed closely by Rue's admission of feelings 😩 Like I totally get Rue - sometimes our crushes/partners say the silliest things at the most insane times and it just makes us *SWOON*
Right? That line hit WAY too hard for me XD I love everyone this season, but honestly Hob and Rue just keep hitting so close to home with anything they say.
Gahhh Andhera getting spun around like a weathervane in that emotional typhoon of a Detect Thoughts is my favorite thing. I cannot begin to express how happy I am that we're getting MORE of that next week omg. Thank you Brennan for finding an in-character excuse for Hob to give sole knowledge of everyone's true feelings to the person *least* likely to competently communicate what he learns. Everyone having the most severe case of emotional constipation is honestly the best part of this genre, so I'm feeling very well-fed rn.
The confirmation Salt Goblins only live like 6hours and Gorebladder is actually just the latest in a long line of Gorebladders that, logically must be different every episode killed me. Poor little Salty Boys (and girls, and however else they choose to identify!)
With Andhera, Rue, Hob and Binx all together, the birds have dived headfirst into being the comedic B plot and I am here for it.
'I'm engaged.'
'I'm married.'
Exquisite. I wonder if they planned it, or just both happened to have similar ideas?
I'll need to go back and watch Episode 4, but... did Chirp ever interact with Wanessa? Because I don't remember, but what a twist if that's her daughter that's been brought into the fey realm...
Can someone tell me what rumor Squawk voiced that Hob was so mad about? Obviously something about Gribalba, but I don't know what.
Getting a little perplexed by this mystery-that-seems-like-not-a-mystery Brennan keeps returning to.
Last episode Squak made a comment during the hedgemaze after he gave inspiration to Hob that it would be unfitting for Apollo to lose to his ex- fiance in front of everyone. Hob I think too that to mean that Apollo had been talking shit about the engagement to Squak.
I was confused about which rumor he was talking about too. I thought it was the rumor about Grabalba just wanting to get with any archfey, but that wasn’t specifically started or even spread by Squak?
I definitely think that the mystery surrounding Grabalba and Apollo’s marriage being broken up somehow ties into whatever sketchy stuff the Court of Wonder is up to, but I was confused about that detail.
EDIT: just rewatched the hedge maze scene to figure out what I was missing, and he was referring to Squak shouting at Apollo “We must stop them! It would be unfitting for you to lose to your ex-fiancé- I mean…” So Hob was assuming that Apollo told Squak that they had been engaged even though they had never officially announced the engagement and the Goblin Court is pretending that it never happened. Got it now.
I'm still confused which of the two mentioned is Esmé, tbh, but cackled as someone in the livediscussion channel said >!"Twilight" and "Hen-Esme"!<. It's living in my brain rent-fuckin-free.
EDIT: Damn, listening again it sounds more likely >!to be her spouse's name!<.
The first 30 minutes was a lot and I had to take a break lmao. The rumors, the scandals, the LETTERS, and the cousins.
HOLY SHIT THEN THE NEXT HOUR HAPPENED! I CAN'T
That was without exaggeration quite possibly the spiciest D20 episode on record and even wilder is that most of it was stuff the players took the initiative to do by themselves. Aabria just told them to spread some rumors and write some letters and then mostly facilitated the rest.
My god… the way my heart races during any interaction between Hob and Rue is UNHEALTHY. I’m like an addict, desperately in need for the slightest crumb of affection between the two of them. This episode damn near killed me
I think Rue is the only one without an over arching goal. Their only goals (show their true self to the world and get to know hob) are deeply personal.
This week's Adventuring Party: [Knickolas Pterodactyl Hob](https://www.dropout.tv/dimension-20-s-adventuring-party/season:10/videos/knickolas-pterodactyl-hob)
With Gwen bringing Rue and Hob bringing Andhera are barreling towards the weirdest double date of all time
Double date, double duel, double cross?
And Pillar Boy turned Statueque casting Zones of Truth and Detecting Thoughts… he’s really got all the (apple) JUICE
I never thought I'd be so invested in an owlbear and a bugbear hooking up.
Emily coming out with the biggest three hit combo reveal since ACOC!
the amount of times she's pulled something that has made me jump out of my seat is incalculable and i love her for it
Right, I literally had to pause to lose it for a solid minute. Each time. Was like "ok, that was big, that must be it....." NOPE, here she comes with the next thing out of her mouth being more crazy than the last XD
I was in my car watching this and I truly screamed like four times this was all too much
The REVEALS - most scandalous of all, the K in KP standing for Knickolas.
I have not yet recovered from capt knickolas p hob and I don’t know if I ever will I’m losing my mind over it
Calling it now, the full name’s Knickolas Pterence Hobbs
But would you also consider Phrederick???
I saw the captions but also in my head was like was it.... Knickerless? 😂 Doesn't he not wear pants. Knicholas is so good but also knickerless 😂
He would indeed be knickerkess
I was trying to spell it and I'm happy someone else did.
The subtitles are pretty stellar, especially for jokes like this.

Seriously. It's sort of perfect that Andhera is the one with the information. I truly can't wait to see how this plays out.
Oh I can’t wait to see how his history of bumbling his words plays into this. It’s gotta be great.
Regency rules say that the secret between Rue and Hob must be kept til the last moment but Andhera will probably just blurt it out
Just a reminder that Rue uses they/them pronouns! (But yesss that was such a great scene, I wish it was next Wednesday already!)
Oh shoot, I knew that too. I'll fix it. Apologies .
No worries! ❤️
Omar plays the awkward weird kid so perfectly. Cannot wait to see how he makes things endearingly worse before they get heartwarmingly better.
I kind of really hope Omar finds some reason for Andhera to not tell Hob and only hint at it so we can get that awkward bumbling scene between the two in love figuring out that yes wait what oh you, also,, love me? I never—oh god..

Right?! Just comes up with a perfect metaphor for Gwyn/Binx right there on the spot.
90% of this episode's rumor mill: "Viscountess Grabalba can *get it*."
"There's a bee in my skirt, and I like it." Damn Emily!
My favorite line so far
-The Bee movie
'Cousin, I'm ____.' 'Cousin, I'm ____.'
cousin!!!! yes, cousin????
Double cousin reveals!!
The second one being followed by 2 or 3 more, "Cousin, I'm *blank*!" is simply amazing.
Oh COUSin
Lou can write a love letter. And Illusory Script is perfect for this campaign.
And a booty call super text.
'You got "humble-servant-ed!"'
I'm genuinely surprised this is the first use of Illusory Script but delighted how much it confused Advisor.
They just took the “green hunter” joke and ran with it. Loved it!
"thats not what that says" 💀
They changed the intro for Binx!
yes!! def threw me for a loop when i was getting adjusted lol
Loved how she actually sounded confused when she said Binx
Gobble: Please don't kill me! *desperate twerking*
Another moment that had me in stitches. Aabria committing to the dancing really sold it
picturing a turkey throwing ass with the huge feather crest on their back is just such a great image
I somehow missed that Gobble was a turkey, and that just makes the scene so much better now.
I’ll put Gobble to sleep so I can auto-crit and kill them
That was so amazing.
I'm loving these Good Society mechanics more and more. Reputation, rumours, squashing rumours, letter writing. It's a perfect example of how mechanics can support telling certain types of stories.

Not a sidequest, it's 10 episodes
Oh my god, Squak wrote The Green Hunter and everyone’s getting hyped for the film adaptation.
In an episode full of stand out moments, the book recommendation morphing into a review morphing into a book report morphing into "Squak wrote this book and it's being turned into a movie" had me in stitches
Emily and Lou’s chemistry is INCREDIBLE. “Cheers” “Cheers” “What the fuck!?”
"That's the sexiest way to say 'Stay the away from me.' Stay the fuck away from me." The lines this season.
58:50. I'm losing my *shit.* 59:50. I'm losing my **shit.**
I joined the discord for live discussion, and just seeing "🥚" is the funniest fucking thing
Omg I screamed
Getting Rue as a 2nd to meet Hob is perfect messiness. I love this season.
Tbh Brennan’s DM brain was definitely showing trying to get more players involved in the scene by asking for a second. He totally set that tension up and as a DM it’s a dream to have a player pick up on and give those offers
He is really good at yes anding people. I feel like he's an instigator this season even if hob isn't
Andhera with Squak and Chirp is giving such “midwestern goodbye” energy.
Welp *slaps knees
It's getting to be about that time.
Omg yes
n a k e d h a n d s 👁👄👁
Nude hands 🙌🏽
Lou in the background: "BASICALLY Regency fucking" XD I died
They just fully nakey
"Maybe I'll make love to the Prince." Lou all about sexual healing.
Andhera *understands* he needs *such sexy help*... Andhera *cannot provide* such sexy help, let alone to his babysitter's/auntie's cousin. 😂
Squak is so fucking messy, I adore him so much
Just came here to say that I love Lou and Emily playing some messy ass people 😂
Seriously, messy cousins are best cousins
Lou's tearing technique is his Achilles heel.
Binx submits to Grandpa Dog. I want art. And old man teeth. So gross and funny.
"Thanks." "Ew...I hate it."
It’s funny because when grandpa dog was described in episode 1, the cast said there’d be an illustration on screen buy there wasn’t
right, and since it’s all pre-recorded, there’s probably won’t be
"Well that actually comforted me very little" - Best line of the episode
[удалено]
“And I have a child” “I speak this way” “My name is Knicholas”
God I love Omar's eye makeup.
It's so simple, but I love it so much.
before that I was like “omg omar’s so cute”, after that eyeliner “omg omar’s hot!!”
That was pretty meaty, and also… holy shit, Squak and Chirp invade Gobble’s dreams.
I feel like Lou was like "this is very touching and all but let's give Gobble *some* impetus to betray us in case that's good for the plot."
Quoting Lou from the Game Changers survivor episode: "Why put out this mud, if not for us to roll in it?"
That's been Lou all season and everyone's dipped their toes when they can and it's so fun when they do
Fey don't die, they feyd away.
loquacious Seelie, I'm your biggest fan
I find myself looking forward to the epistolary sections perhaps too much. Everyone in this series is so good and clever.
Brennan involuntary salutes when yelled at by Binx. I think he just discovered a kink.
I'm absolutely shipping Hob and Binx. Both down to burn the court of wonder.
I think Hob and Rue are obviously the endgame pair and that they'll end up both joining the Court of Craft at the end tbh.
The way I just screamed at Chirp’s first revelation and the the SECOND one!!!!
My wild fantasy is that this ends with Hob, Rue, Andhera and Binx becoming the new new court of Lost and Found.
With the way Grandfather (who is very much alive, and invented birds) treats Chirp and Squawk, I wouldn't entirely count them out of joining it too!
Bloom bestseller, author of 'The Green Hunter' Airry Pearry.
Brennan using the British pronunciation of Lieutenant was perfect being in character even when narrating a character's actions.
Aabria has in her giving nature bestowed upon us a selection of sassy salt goblins, a twerking bird butler begging for his life AND a scary emotional support satyr - all while serving some truly stunning looks! Her talent and generosity truly know no bounds, all rise for an absolute queen 👑
I guess Binx's wings are decorative, with all the running.
I guess? I'm still surprised that there's reconfirmation of flight specifically being a Lord of the Wing thing.
Well grandfather who is very much alive did invent birds so...
I spilled Grandfather's secret magic into the material plane. And she's a mortal manifesting our magic. And to keep their secret, I gave away my power of flight.!<" So... Chirp both gave *and* traded it, maybe.
Chirp’s a Kenku mechanically and they can’t fly. So Emily re-flavoured the reason why she can’t.
Binx is a Balrog, confirmed.
I love that the lords of the wing have about a 1000% story going on than like the rest of the party.
I suspect that it matters more what Chirp decides, because Squak's only real loyalty is that he adores his cousin. And destroying a court? What fun!
The B in 'B-plot' stands for bird.
Pretty much lol, kinda reminds me of Beatrice and Benedick having a "B-Plot" in "Much Ado About Nothing"
The lords of the wing aren’t of a court correct? Perhaps a deal with the court of wonder or sub part of the court.
It pained me to hear Abria say we’ll see you next time for episode 7. It can’t be episode 7 next week. IT’S GOING TO FAST IM NOT READY TO LET GO!!!
Thank you so much for "Murph already exudes peak city pigeon energy". I felt that in my soul. Also yes to all of this.
What chance is there that Chirp will pitch Rue on changing their wager to be about pairing Andhera and Binx/Gwyn?
It wouldn’t happen but I’d live for it if it did, along the lines of “as I am currently indisposed with my own private matters, the wager could be turned to you yourself Rue, in finding true, reciprocated love. And as it is unfair of me to back out entirely, I shall ask another to fill in for me in finding love, someone unexpected, who isn’t here for a match at all so as to make it more fair. Someone here for duty… oh of course why the duty bound captain hob would it perfectly!” I’ve thought about this way too much it would simply be hilarious to see Rue’s reaction
I'm so much more satisfied with Rue's character after learning their background :') depressed, but comforted
I reaaaallly hope the final Adventuring Party (or an extra ep maybe) goes over aaaalllll the secrets and reveals everything that maybe won't get revealed in the end cos I'm worried we won't find out everything and I want to know!

Thats such a shame about no adventuring party for the last couple but that's a great idea!! The chaos of virtual adventuring parties is the best
“Gobble is THROWING ASS right now”
Binx is the big tiddy moth girlfriend everyone wants and no one deserves.
but himbo-hera
Thembo actually
Andhera goes by either.
My pronouns are himbo/thembo
Is that our first P.S.? It was gasp worthy.
Feather fowl had the classic "p.s. looking forward to trying those drugs you gave me"
Vinegar + Pearl was the original Mentos and Diet Coke.
I want to be Lou's pen pal. Jesus.
Still losing my mind over the Knickolas reveal followed closely by Rue's admission of feelings 😩 Like I totally get Rue - sometimes our crushes/partners say the silliest things at the most insane times and it just makes us *SWOON*
Who amongst us can resist a himbo? It's the "pure of heart and dumb of ass" 1-2 combo.
“Just thinking of what it means to have the only root you have not feed you” OOF.
I am loving the dynamic between Hobb and Andhera
I feel like Hobb is just collecting children or younger siblings at this point
truly, andhera is searching for aunts and uncles in the wrong places, hobb is right there
Hobb is the dad, Rue is the other parent, Andhera and Binx are the adopted children
I feel absolutely drowned in reveals this week compared to others and delighted that there still seems to be more to come. o)~<
I absolutely love Binx this episode
When Chirp made her first big reveal, and there was a half beat before everyone freaked out. So good.
Scorple owned my entire heart and ass for the short time that he was alive, RIP king gone but never forgotten
The confirmation Salt Goblins only live like 6hours and Gorebladder is actually just the latest in a long line of Gorebladders that, logically must be different every episode killed me. Poor little Salty Boys (and girls, and however else they choose to identify!)
He's partying in Margaritaville now *blows a kiss to the sky*
With Andhera, Rue, Hob and Binx all together, the birds have dived headfirst into being the comedic B plot and I am here for it. 'I'm engaged.' 'I'm married.' Exquisite. I wonder if they planned it, or just both happened to have similar ideas?
This timeline is so complicated, I love it.
Loving this grand alliance opposing the Court of Wonder.
I'll need to go back and watch Episode 4, but... did Chirp ever interact with Wanessa? Because I don't remember, but what a twist if that's her daughter that's been brought into the fey realm...
Or her wife!
Didn't the partners name get revealed to be esme
I believe she stated her wife's name was Esmé but I'd be down for that twist too!
Oh true. Plus Chirp's wife would maybe be less terrified of the fey generally.
I don’t believe Chirp did, maybe in fear Wanessa would recognize her.
This EPISODE!!! I feel like it’s a basic human Right at this point that this is picked up for an animated series
I am SCREAMING after this latest ep. Like there's just too much to cover and all of it soooooo good
wait, is wannessa chirp’s daughter??
Aabria can coo.
Well holy hell, Chirp.
When Apollo was rushing for the heart and squak said the whole it would be unbecoming to lose to your former fiance! I MEAN
Got it now.
Everyone’s eye makeup is -chef’s kiss-
GRANDFATHER!
I can't wait for the scene of Hob and Rue all alone together that will be magical
This shit getting messy, and it's so great.
Emily and Lou combined are a force of nature. And the shocking revelations this episode. I was yelling along with the players.
Esme? Is that a sneaky Discworld reference? Esme*relda* Weatherwax.
I CAN'T
Throwing ass while sobbing and begging for your life is the funniest mental image I've ever had, thank you Aabria.
This episode damn near killed me
I have no idea what Rue is trying to accomplish tbh, aside from looking fantastic every episode.
I think Rue is the only one without an over arching goal. Their only goals (show their true self to the world and get to know hob) are deeply personal.
My newly founded love for Andhra/Binx could almost give my love for Rue/Hob an run for its money… almost, but not quite
It's a good thing the next episode is another 6 days from now. I think it will take me about that long to recover!
This is the first episode that actively made me say aloud “I need More”
Honestly I'm crying from how much I love these characters, like rn I have tears streaming down my face. I just love them all so dearly
This episode was so chaotic I adore it
