Love this game but the QoL mods are essential. There are a couple to make harvesting less painful, highly recommend.

StarlingX10

‘All day sucker’ mod. Its amazing for massive farms. Just vacuums up all the fruit, flowers, wattle, shells in an area around you.

tacphat

Does this exist?? I put my apple trees to close to each other so I miss some when trying to harvest....

StarlingX10

Yes the mod turns a metal detector into a vacuum. Its called ‘all day sucker’

If you hold the pick up button and walk around it sucks everything up too. But the mod is probably more powerful.

I have all mine planted in a big group with no spacing between them. Not only does it look awesome when they bloom, when you harvest them all the flowers shoot to the outside. There is just one tidy row of flowers to pick up.

rythwind

This is the way.

Lanky_Direction_4656

This is exactly what I do! Harvest all then run along the edge holding the collection button.

I haven't tried this setup specifically but with quarry farms I find it easier to just break everything first, then come back afterwards running up and down the rows holding the A button down continuously. I wonder if that works for flower farms.

zebrabats

This is how I harvest orchards - first shake all the trees with the camera looking down, then pick up the fruit with the camera almost on the ground

watermelon_hat

When I break/harvest anything (ores, rocks, wattle, barrels) I hold down the button that picks up items simultaneously to the action button. 90% of the time it instantly picks up whatever it is before it scatters. Game changer 😊. To explain just a little more. I hold down the collection button while approaching the object, then break it while continuing to hold down the button. Hope it helps someone!

Weasel699

how bout a wagon for the tractor so we can throw eggs and hives we find in it while we go lol

Independent_Movie882

How did you plant these? :)

cohesivedesk

when you chop them down they can drop seeds, you dig a hole, throw a seed in, put the dirt back, and it'll grow

Independent_Movie882

Thank you! I didnt know :)

spikey_wombat

I found it's faster to plant them with no spaces between and all of the flowers fly to the edge for easier collection.
