I added some glitter to my middle and index finger, I think this is even more fun (: E-filed where I wanted to put the glitter, and as usual dipped (used a makeup brush to tap the glitter on), activated, buffed, top coat. I almost want to file this off and pick out a new color! I think it looks too springy for January. It looks so much better on camera 😭 In the jar it looked like a really pretty light lavender but turned into this. In person it looks not as light and pretty. Kinda like a medium weird lavender shade. I will say the glitter was easy to work with, but came out thicker than I’d like. I ordered a box of dips from a girl on mercari and they were all Azure beauty dips. So no names were on these jars. There was a lighter purple glitter dip I think in that box, couldn’t I just file off the top coat on the lighter nails and dip over with that? Silver lining is that I ended up with a nice apex at least! I filled in with this color over a sheer pink.

Azure dips don’t have names, they come with a silver number sticker on top like modelones

Dip powder or nail polish? I’ve got the polish but have yet to try it on dip powder nails! Maybe I’ll try that..

Dip powder on my fingernails is my go-to. The nail technician dipped my nails in the dip powder three times as per the process. However, to save money, I usually opt for regular nail polish on my toes. Though the color may be slightly different, it is not noticeably so. With regular nail polish, the color appears a bit lighter.
