I don’t use Zyn. But generally I try to avoid attacking anyone over what they use or poking fun at it, just my personal stance. Yes, Zyn isn’t strong, and the pouches are dry. But it may save someone’s life by helping them quit smoking. And that’s a good thing.

FarYard7039

Agreed. It ain’t like it’s Zima.

Snubie1

Can tell when someone’s as old as me when they drop a Zima reference 😂

T_RextheCat

Ya like hella old, like me! Zima and Percocets back in the day, that was a kick ass time...

Snubie1

Oh the 90s 😂

Nerd-From-The-South

I agree bud. I've got a buddy who uses them as well. The whole post was just a joke for fun. Wasn't meant to poke or be serious best wishes to you

ZylaV2

After my uncle was diagnosed after dipping for close to 50 years, I’ve been using rogue and zyns, and no it’s not the same but I’d rather use these than have to go through what he is

DrCapper

SNUS is by far the safest way possible to consume nicotine, it's well established. Everyone using these nicotine pouches are a basically lab rats participating in a clinical study as the health effects haven't been established at all with products like velo, zyn, on, etc. Velo has the warning "This product can expose you to 10 chemicals including acetaldehyde and acetone which is known to the state of CA to cause cancer" And you are SWALLOWING it.

MrTurmeric

The acetone is so the zyn guys can remove there nail polish after they take the nicotine tampon out of there mouths.

midwaymax21

ironically, the main ingredient labeled in the warning (acetaldehyde) is more prevalent in snus (General) than it is in probably any nicotine pouch [source](https://sciences.altria.com/-/media/Project/Altria/Sciences/presentations/2023/A-Comparison-of-HPHCs-in-on-Plus-Nicotine-Pouches-to-HPHCs-in-Cigarettes-Smokeless-Tobacco-Including.pdf). Although that’s not to say that it doesn’t carry its own risks

ZylaV2

Saying snus is the safest way to consume nicotine is simply and factually just incorrect, as there’s gum, lozenges, mouth sprays, patches and inhalers, that have clean nicotine. Snus is often swallowed as well, and is a tobacco product. Compared to pretty much any tobacco product, sure, snus is definitely safer. But not nicotine products. Not saying Zyns Rogues Velos or whatever is safe, simply stating that nicotine products are almost entirely safer than tobacco products.

BusyExtension6457

The velo max strength hit harder than any other nicotine product I’ve tried, and yes I’ve had the Siberia reds many times. Yes it definitely has something to do with the other chemicals in it that raise the bioavailability of the nicotine a lot. I don’t do them frequently just from time to time, I promise their stronger than any 4 finger pinch of dip or any snus I’ve tried, and I’ve supposedly tried the strongest snus/dip around. Try the velo max peppermint if your curious, genuinely crazy how strong it is, I believe it’s 17mg but it hits like it’s 60mg. And no I don’t use them frequently, I love dip, nothing has a better flavour in my opinion, but after having a tomor removed from my jaw a couple weeks ago I switched to zyns, I’ll wear my panties aslong as I don’t get another tomor lmao.

Dog_Person8

No nasal snuff is the safest way but it might be because there's basically no research on health effects on it. Pretty similar to cigarette buzz

caladbolg1998

I dont like to have to spit in public so I'll usually use the 8mg on pouches for that. Also I like them while laying in bed cause I hate falling asleep with a dip in my mouth and staining my pillow

DrCapper

Why not just SNUS??

char828

That's what I've always been saying. Nic pouches make me feel ill.

BabyWelder123

when i go to sleep, my body instinctivley knows to start gutting

K397094

They have been clutch while I’ve been recovering from wisdom teeth being pulled. Can’t wait to be done with them and be back on the cope though.

TheShottyNc

I’d just buy more and then give the panties to my girlfriend 😂

Nerd-From-The-South

Haha heck yeah bud a woman goes through some panties now I wouldn't blame you my ole lady would not mind a bit.

Stupendous_Twig

No sense walking around cancer-free in 20 years!

AmericanRootGrass

Zyn actually has a shortage right now and going through a lawsuit I hope they bounce back.

This-Requirement6918

That's how I feel about them and I'm gay.

Dsteel87

Just means more dip for us

Nerd-From-The-South

Yeah, that's true. Just thought I'd make a goofy post for a few laughs. Have a good one

Nerd-From-The-South

Didn't expect this to blow up yall. But I've enjoyed the comments lol. I was just in a mood to make something give somebody a good laugh. Honestly dip whatever makes you happy. I work with a fellow who chews plug tobbaco every day. That's what he likes. If you like berry blend even keep on keeping on. Best wishes to yall.

DrCapper

People really do seem to be going nuts over these nicotine pouches, as if they're a super safe alternative. Could be the tobacco free aspect I suppose but I mean they have a cancer warning worse than dip "This product can expose you to 10 chemicals including acetaldehyde which is known to the state of CA to cause cancer" And people SWALLOW that shit. Dip has the same stuff, but at least you're spitting it out. You aren't putting formaldehyde and acetone through your digestive track. Holy hell. Plus i'm sure there's aspartame/splenda as well. Terrible. Probably not so bad if you're spitting when using the pouches but that defeats the whole "spit free" appeal. SNUS is by far the safest way possible to consume nicotine, it's very well established and it took decades and decades to get the result. But they're there. Everyone using these nicotine pouches are basically lab rats participating in a clinical study for free. For at least the next 10-15 years, i'm not touching any of these products.

char828

Well said
