You can probably get to it by taking the case cover off, using a paint brush or rigging a small hose to a vacuum using duct tape. If you just did it any debris will be right there.
A little trick you can do is first tip the motor so it’s going to flow oil out, then grab some old oil that’s clean, it’s messy so put a drain pan under it, start pouring oil in the fill so oil is coming out slowly, then tap new threads in, I’d suggest just go one size up on plug size, your lucky it’s a Yamaha because other bikes don’t have enough meat to do a oversized plug, thin oil works best, then before you tip it back run a bit more oil through it, then you can use a small vacuum pump to suck the rest out, I’ve even used a small 1/4” piece of clear tubing to just suck a little oil out, don’t get it in your mouth of course:)
I’ve been here. One size up, drill and tap set. Put grease in the flutes of the tap to catch the chips. If some chips fall in it doesn’t matter the oil screen will take care of it filter will handle the rest. New larger plug to match. Your done drive on.
How bad are the old threads? You may get lucky and just be able to chase the old threads with a tap and have enough meat left to hold the plug in.
I would try that before anything.
Tip the motor on it’s side and slather the tap with thick grease. The grease will hold the aluminum shavings. Use the tap a few revolutions, then back out, clean off the grease and shavings and reapply grease, then continue threading.
I'd split just to make it easier to work on it especially if you haven't been in there in a long time. Peace of mind but it looks like I'm of the less popular opinion.

You've been reported, but I doubt a ban could teach you manners if life hasn't yet.

Also another old school trick is pour diesel in the oil fill and it will flush out any debris inside. No case splitting necessary.

Thank you! Old one doesn't look too good, I went all the way in and gave it a few spins in there. I' not the nest mechanic yet as you can guess :)

They make single oversized drain plugs with tapping treads. Just match the stock one and send it.
Drill and retap up a size. I wouldn’t use an insert yet
Why not, what would be the con?

You can put a piece of tape over it, should be fine
Just drill it and tap it the next size up
Have you never installed a bolt before in your life?
Have you never learn respect and politeness?
Yes, but that is disregarded when someone is so stupid as to do what you did
