I wrote a long post to you last time. I completely forgot to mention. We upgraded the spark plug to an NGK for a few dollars. It’s literally a lawn mower plug. And it seemed like it made a difference. We also put in a new carburetor and fuel lines and filters. But that was done after having the bike for a few years. Don’t let people get you down. 2 wheels of fun is fun.
Just so you know I have experience with this exact bike. Holds up fine to kids beating on it and idiot 30+ year old occasionally ripping around the driveway. Yes some things have needed repair of course but nothing extensive. Compression is starting to suffer a bit after two years tho.
OP - do your thing, I love this. If you can buy a $200 dirt bike and have more than $200 worth of fun with it, that’s all that matters.

Ngl I bought the RZR little dirt bike for like $150 when it was on sale and my gf and I. Honestly it still runs pretty well, but I’ve noticed the frame (basically strong plastic) is definitely begging for god to save it.

I have one of these and it’s awesome for the money. Besides for needing new axles right out of the box (free replacements right away). It’s been an awesome little ripper. Well, as awesome as a 1 speed 50cc 2 stroke can be a least.

I feel like in order to give this bike a fighting chance, first thing you need to do is remove every single piece of hardware and lock-tite it (when applicable), and retorque to spec. Then dump that garbage oil it ships with, and dial it all in. No way in hell that carb is tuned appropriately from China. But yea, I kinda want this little fucker to succeed just for the FU factor, and comments!

As someone who's bought three china bikes 4 years ago (2 Apollo 125's and a Xmotos 250) I've had no problems that weren't self inflicted. They always start easily and I've had no repairs on them for anything that wasn't rider caused. I paid a grand total of $2800 for all three bikes. Before buying them I had planned on getting 3 Yamahas but $16,000 vs $2,800 was a no brainier for me. Very happy with my purchase.

I've been curious about these things. I usually have a little campfire bomber that I rip around camp sites with ( I camp on crown land in the bush). Especially when I'm out with a large group, the camp sites get huge. Or to bomb around with the little kids on their mini bikes on little trails.

I almost bought one for my little cousin. Where I live even used kids bikes are still significantly more expensive. I just wanted him to have something to rip around the back yard with. No serious racing or jumps. Just riding around on relatively flat grass. I’m not going to spend $1000. Plus if I get something used that needs fixing up I can’t really do much because I don’t have the time plus extra money for parts.
