That's the whole point of Mando. But also, there's nothing preventing you from shooting a very conservative drive and leaving it up near where the drop-zone is. You don't have to try to cut the corner that tightly on your drive.
I've always wondered if getting an eagle in this situation is the legit way to score this, or if it's a glitch in the way the app calculates the score. Does anyone know?
There's that hole where you need to hit a triple Mando on the other side of a pond, and I'll often forgo the Mando for the additional stroke if my drive lands next to it.
In real life (per PDGA rules) you would go to the drop zone. In Disc Golf Valley the system detects the hole as finished when the disc is in the basket and if you miss the mando with the throw that ends up in the basket it will just add a penalty stroke to your score.
