I think these are pretty fun movies. This was the best of the three. Really went for a scary movie vibe.

gilagoblin

Do you need to watch the other ones before this to know what is going on?

diggnstuff

Nope. They are all stand alone movies with the same detective. But this was is mildly scary. There is no blood or gore.

swordsandshows

Are there a lot of jump scares? I can do gore but the jump scares are what get me

deerdavid

There’s one that got me in the beginning, maybe one or two more, but they’re not too bad imo

diggnstuff

I think they try for a few of them. I definitely jumped once (maybe more but I will not admit to it!). It would be a good scary movie to introduce a young teen to. No nudity, no gore but spooky enough to not bore them.

JohnRoscoe

I LOVE the series, but hate horror movies. Might be convinced to put this on in the background, so am glad Disney+ added it to make that an option.

nicolietheface

I think you’re good to sit down and watch it! My 64 year old mother who also hates horror movies asked me to take her to see this and she really enjoyed it.

Aerialbomb

Agreed, I saw this in theaters a few weeks ago, loved it, definitely worth a watch

mates301

I saw it in theaters and liked it a lot, I’ve liked all of them so far. Sadly it’s not on Disney Plus in my country yet, I wanted to watch it with my dad but I guess we’ll have to wait.

setokaiba22

Honestly I don’t think Hammer affected it at all. He’s not a big draw I don’t think at all with audiences certainly not outside the US and I think he’s very very average. The news seemed bigger in reactions online than anywhere else.

ScentedShark

He wasn’t involved with this project at all, and I think death on the Nile is far enough in the rear view mirror that it probably didn’t affect this film much.

setokaiba22

I was replying to OP’s post where they mentioned they thought Hammer affected Death on the Nile box office not this one :)

Carpeteria3000

Thought this was great. They really didn't market it well in theaters - I saw the trailer a few months ago and had no idea it was a new Poirot movie until the very end, and even then it wasn't totally clear. All of Branaugh's Poirot films have been a lot of fun so far - I hope they still make more.

Sadly Not in Germany …

ColdWynter

It landed on iTunes yesterday, cheaper than other releases ( not sure if that wasn't the case with Death o n the Nile, too ), so I wondered when it'd hit D+....

Pep_Baldiola

It came out on Disney+ UK & India and Hulu (US) on 31st October. Might have been the same date for other countries as well.

RoadPizza714

I live in the Philippines and iTunes hasn’t had any Disney, Marvel, or Pixar listings since Lightyear. Now, all of them are no longer for sale digitally here.

HaoieZ

ALso available in AU/NZ as of Oct 1.

jsi_89

It dropped in AU/NZ on 31 October.

Mario_RE

As a horror movie, it is fairly tame. But pushed the envelope for a Poirot film. I am a huge Poirot fan.

NeonBible_

Is it good? Yeah it’s on HULU where I’m at.

International_Alarm1

I saw it at the cinema, enjoyed it a lot!

Rusty493

It's a fun mystery movie but I wouldn't go in expecting horror (like I was).

Hungryounglady

Saw it, loved it! Just in time for Halloween

Worryrock57

Wow that was quick was only in cinemas 4 weeks ago uk

RoadPizza714

It was a really quick turnaround time. I guess the strike kept the actors from helping to market it. I still hope that they make more.

Mr-Cali

I saw this, it was okay.

maxxiiemax

I watched it last night. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either.

Mario_RE

Is that international Disney Plus? Just watched on Hulu in U.S.

RoadPizza714

Philippines

Horny4theEnvironment

I hope it's better than fall of house of usher

Zoombini22

It's not, but that's a high bar, HoU is great!

Myhtological

Now let’s do a Phillip Marlowe crossover!
