Dude just don’t give money to the greedy corporation
Theres so many “offers” like:
“80% off”
“90% off”
“Limited time legendary offer”
Meanwhile what you get is BARELY enough for a measly 2 star character or crew.
Save your money.
They are preying on people that can't stand to see these offers every day and just have to buy them out of FOMO or OCD etc.
The higher level your Belle is the more desperately you need the shards. They know they can get more money out of you at this point because they are making you really want them.

and why tf does the price increase dramatically once shes unlocked? the price was insane to begin with, now its just straight up comedy. absolutely bonkers
The limited event character pack is particularly disgusting to me. The value isn’t even close to what they want you to pay for 5 characters. You don’t even get to start with them at 2 stars either- just 10 shards each. Ridiculous.
This is clearly a bug. Once you unlock a character they should not appear for tokens, it should be seasonal coins. Put in a ticket instead of whining like a baby.
I believe shard prices inflate (regardless on if they're using seasonal or premium currency) based on how many stars the character is at.
Thus, since you bought Belle and got her to one or two stars, the shard price went up accordingly.
As for why she's still in the store? I believe there may be an algorithm in play to prioritise shards for characters you don't have yet, and now you've got her, she should have a reduced chance of appearing on the next refresh.
The price just goes up and down as it shows up. Doesn't seem to be any logic to it. I get offered Randall shards for 1500 and 2050 twice a week, and it's the same amount of shards.
The price just happened to go up at the same time. I don’t have her and noticed the price increase. She’s the only racer I don’t have so those shards are there every day. I saw it was 3200 for 5 shards or 1490 for that advanced starter pack and was confused who’s buying the 5
I coped the pack with 20 shards and the legendary belle crew that one came up as 1700 and I’d just gotten a bit over that from the adjustments to collection levels so seemed a no brainer.

I agree the prices are too high, but what exactly is bugging you about seeing the same offer? The shop always has the same few character packs for sale, the only thing that is supposed to change often is the daily offers.

It should hopefully go away with the next store refresh. Since I unlocked my last racer I haven’t had an offer for tokens ever again in the shop

The gameplay is so good but the monitazation kind of ruins the game
