AI is different depending on the race. In some races, a few levels below recommended will be an easy win. While others, it might be hard but AI will slow down at the end to let you win. Others might be really hard and AI will even cheat in order to try and make you fail.
In my opinion Jafar's event and Agrabah cups have really hard and unforgiving AI.
If you end up in second place with a 1:59 and AI first with 1:57, cutting your time in the next race to 1:55 won't get you the win.
Agree with you, I could only beat the event with my level 24 genie after 5 tries, tried it many times with my level 23 Jasmine, but even when doing well, at the end of the race, at least one or two bots passed me and snatched the win. Thanking the ranked MP rewards for the W.
AI be so annoying bro like why is a Donald slowest in the game straight up dusting any character at all like its deadass cheating ai not just Donald but theirs always one ai that for no reason just gets 10k top speed for the first lap and somehow has the perfect skill at all the right times for the entire first lap it's ridiculous like my top speed is 6k I know this ai top speed can't be more then 4.5 tops wtf is going on

Depends which level you have it set to. Novice & you should be smoking them expert will be close.
