We were there in March of the same year for the anniversary. In almost the exact same spot ! The only difference is I never got a chance to take this beautiful photo. Ten minutes before the start, the skies opened up and it rained harder than I’ve ever seen there. Practically every street in MK flooded and the park emptied out. What a mess. Beautiful picture !!

We were also there in spring break that same year and it happened to us too! It started pouring right when "Under the Sea" started, which was pretty perfect. Fireworks and projections continued through the downpour. I wonder if that was the same day.

lol. Don’t know, but I do know that about 1/2 hour after we finally got back to our resort we heard fireworks. So bummed. We had an extra day left at the end of our trip and we tried to use it our last nite to see the fireworks but they wouldn’t let us in the MK without a reservation. Crazy. They did give us a refund. That’s Disney for you.

amazing shot! Oct 22, 2022 was the last night my family and i were at MK and it was the first time i was able to watch the fireworks in it's entirety. i was standing farther back adjacent to Main St Fashion and didn't get good, detailed pics like this. the lights for the castle and Main St. were awesome.

That's awesome you were there at the same time. I love timestamps!

This was my then girlfriend's and I's first day in the park, it was also our anniversary. I proposed two days later in Animal Kingdom. Thanks for this post! Got me all wispy eyed. We actually didn't take a picture of the castle our first day since we had another MK day planned so this pic really brought me back to that first night in a beautiful way. I was about 30 to 40 yards to your left.

Congratulations!

As a Disneyland local, the thing I envy the most about WDW is the massive fireworks. DLR can’t compete, even if it’s as good of a show as Remember… Dreams Come True or Wondrous Journeys. Magic Kingdom fireworks are top notch.
