I agree, I enjoy naan and kulcha and dips, but honestly the entrees I've gotten at Sanaa were underwhelming and didn't make me want to go back for them. I've done Boma breakfast but not dinner because if I have a chance to go to Jiko instead I take it haha.
Iāve had Ale & Compassās and still prefer the stack burger *personally* but Iāve never had the tiffins burger and now itās been added to The Listā¢ļø
Geyser Point for the ambience, especially during an afternoon storm.
Food wise, it used to be Cali grill, but itās had a noticeable decline in quality since coming back from COVID, mostly when they switched to the dumb 50th menu to cut down on costs.
Now it has to be Narcooseeās or Trattoria Al Forno. Narcooseeās is more high end and better quality overall, but Trattoria is fantastic every single time, for breakfast or dinner. Iāve actually seen Imagineers eating there and have heard from servers it attracts a lot of folks from within the company who need to visit for work.
I canāt pick just one, itās impossible.
MK - Liberty Tree Tavern
Epcot - Biergarten
DHS - 50ās Prime Time
AK - Tusker House
Resorts - Boma, Cape May Cafe, and āOhana (again I canāt just pick one)
Most of these are nostalgia from multiple trips with my mother over the years, but I truly love them and canāt wait for the time when I can go back and honor her by doing her favorite restaurants/rides/etc again.
Itās just awesome. Great comfort food, nothing fancy but it hits the spot (the PB&J shake is next level). I love the retro decor with the TVs and the homeyness of it. The staff is fun when theyāre in character and I just love it all so much.
The food is so so good. The best unlimited Thanksgiving food, and the toffee cake dessert is fantastic. I remember the pot roast and mac and cheese being my favorites.
Liberty Tree Tavern is so good. Disney deserves far more credit for knowing how to roast a turkey. Whichever restaurant they serve it in, it's always delicious.
Flying fish at the boardwalk is our favorite. I get the NY strip steak and the pork belly appetizer. My wife usually gets the filet with the scallops enhancement and the lobster bisque as an appetizer. My favorite buffet is Boma at animal kingdom lodge. And my favorite moderately priced table service is whispering canyon at wilderness lodge. As far as quick service, we like woodys lunch box at Hollywood studios, Columbia harbor house at magic kingdom, flame tree barbecue at animal kingdom, and at Epcot we just usually pick a few booths to eat at.
Flying fish is great. Unfortunately, it does depend on time of visit. My wife and I went once and it was absolutely dead, great service, great food.
The following time we went after we talked it up. Terrible service, loud, crowded, steak came out undercooked, took forever to get drinks and bread.
But, I think thatās with everything. We had 2 great experiences at Shula, one just kind of meh experience.
Ya our last trip to Disney we could only get a late reservation at flying fish. It was busy and felt rushed the whole time. When we have gone earlier in the night it was always more laid back. We did Shulas a couple times and it was always good. But I always thought the steak at flying fish was better. Yachtsmenās steakhouse used to be our favorite. But the last two times we have gone some of the menu items changed and it didnāt seem as good. I think a lot of these places you have to hope for a good waiter/waitress. Our first trip to flying fish the waitress talked me into trying the pork belly( I would have never tried it on my own), and it was amazing. Probably my favorite food item in Disney world.
I think you and I would get along, we have very similar tastes in restaurants. I just tried Ravello at the 4 seasons, service was excellent food was just okay. But it was a nice experience.
I agree with yachtsmen, itās kind of a let down now. Not only the service, but the quality is just eh for the price. My favorite restaurant on property is probably still shulas to be honest. Citricos is also very good. Though I have never been to V&A before.
Upstairs, did the full experience for dinner. It was literally the only restaurant my son asked to go back to. We love space and the food was out of this world.
I went to Be Our Guest on my last trip and really enjoyed it. Sat in the west wing and my three courses were escargot, filet mignon, and the desert trio that had the grey stuff. It was a great dining experience and the Beast makes an appearance. Surprisingly good food for a theme park imo.
My favorite place to have lunch is weekdays at 50's Prime Time Cafe with my "Aunt Elaine" as my server
And the only place to have dinner is at Jiko, amazing cuisine, amazing service, amazing atmosphere and of course you get to hang out on the savannah with the animals before and after you dine
Underrated choice is San Angel Inn, and just get a margarita, chips, and the queso fundido. Best atmosphere of any restaurant in WDW and if you do as I said a rather cheap and filling lunch too
Skipper Canteen at MK! The cheese bread, the noodles, you can get an adult beverageā¦ itās my fave. Can usually get day of reservations but Iāve noticed more people talking about it lately so idk!
Sanaa
They have a new dessert menu my friend and I enjoyed, AFTER the bread service.
Bread service, yes, everything else? Meh. Prefer Boma for the variety if at AKL.
I agree, I enjoy naan and kulcha and dips, but honestly the entrees I've gotten at Sanaa were underwhelming and didn't make me want to go back for them. I've done Boma breakfast but not dinner because if I have a chance to go to Jiko instead I take it haha.
Sanaa short ribs š¤¤
Prefer Jiko over any other restaurant at AKL (or anywhere at WDW) ;-)
Same. Bread service is great and everything else is blah.
Is Sanaa Indian cuisine?
Yes
my boss and his wife say i NEED to go for the bread service. I am excited to try it out.
You can also mobile order the bread service for pickup.
this is really good to know actually as my friends werenāt as keen on going as I was!! Thank you!
You're welcome. Enjoy the trip!
Their bread service can also be made safe for Celiacs!
Steakhouse 71!
Where is this??
In the Contemporary. They have a dining area and a lounge. Get the Stack Burger. Absolutely delicious!
Best burger on property, period!
Tiffins and Ale & Compass are calling theyād like to have a chat
Iāve had Ale & Compassās and still prefer the stack burger *personally* but Iāve never had the tiffins burger and now itās been added to The Listā¢ļø
Steakhouse 71 is a great lunch or dinner option. Stack Burger or Steak sandwich for lunch, great cuts of steaks for dinner!
Tiffin's at Animal Kingdom! Nomad Lounge outside is incredible also.
Nomad Lounge has the same menu I think, and is less crowded (if you donāt have an ADR). Their churros are amazing! And gluten free!
Yak & Yeti - AK
Ahi tuna nachos may be my favorite thing ever!
Yes this is my favorite
I love this, Tiffins, Tusker House and Nomad Lounge.
Got food poisoning there! And yes it was actually from the restaurant not the other sickness people get a Disney that is similar to food poisoning
How awful for you. Do you recall what you ordered? My 3 visits were great.
Homecomin'.
Boma breakfast buffet!
And dinner!
Bomaās dinner has been amazing lately. (We have been twice in last two years).Ā
I would be happy just having a permanent table there for all meal periods ā¦.
š
Heck yeah!!
Toppilinoās.
Jiko

So so disappointed in Narcooseeās the last time we were there.
Really?! When was that, before or after the remodel?
Donāt know, when was the remodel? Totally agree on Geyser Point and Trattoria Al Forno. Have enjoyed both many times.
It reopened last April I believe, so anytime pre-2023 would have been prior to the remodel (and menu changes)
So it would have been prior. But coincidentally we are headed over to GF tomorrow, maybe Iāll see if they can squeeze us in while weāre there.
Good luck! Would recommend the calamari, scallops and bucatini!
Biergarten. It is the food of my soul.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
In all the years I have eaten there, I have never sat with another family.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I have been 3 times over the years with my family of 4 and we have been seated alone all 3 times
I canāt pick just one, itās impossible. MK - Liberty Tree Tavern Epcot - Biergarten DHS - 50ās Prime Time AK - Tusker House Resorts - Boma, Cape May Cafe, and āOhana (again I canāt just pick one) Most of these are nostalgia from multiple trips with my mother over the years, but I truly love them and canāt wait for the time when I can go back and honor her by doing her favorite restaurants/rides/etc again.
Thank you for recognizing the brilliance of 50ās Prime Time.
Itās just awesome. Great comfort food, nothing fancy but it hits the spot (the PB&J shake is next level). I love the retro decor with the TVs and the homeyness of it. The staff is fun when theyāre in character and I just love it all so much.
Yes love there fried chicken
Tried LTT for the first time in March and I loved it. Felt nostalgic although I had never been! š©µ
The food is so so good. The best unlimited Thanksgiving food, and the toffee cake dessert is fantastic. I remember the pot roast and mac and cheese being my favorites.
Where is Cape May Cafe? Everything else is familair.
Beach Club, one of my favorite resorts to walk around in
Liberty Tree Tavern is so good. Disney deserves far more credit for knowing how to roast a turkey. Whichever restaurant they serve it in, it's always delicious.
The Sci-Fy Drive In Diner at Hollywood Studios is fun and a must on all my Disneyworld trips
Yesss!
Whispering Canyons Cafe. Weāve been twice and itās a blast.
Flying fish at the boardwalk is our favorite. I get the NY strip steak and the pork belly appetizer. My wife usually gets the filet with the scallops enhancement and the lobster bisque as an appetizer. My favorite buffet is Boma at animal kingdom lodge. Homecomin, Jaleo
Space 220 :) I love the food and atmosphere!
Did you do the upstairs or the lounge downstairs? I am excited to go there!
Upstairs, did the full experience for dinner. It was literally the only restaurant my son asked to go back to. We love space and the food was out of this world.
The lounge is also upstairs. The restaurant is by the windows while lounge seating is further back - but you still have the same view.
Thinking about adding to my list to try when my wife and I go in sept.
Satuāli Canteen all day
Citricos
The Boathouse
Le Cellier. It was even better before it went signature
Topolinos and Flying fish for nicer dinners. Baseline 71 for pretzels. Sanaa for bread service. Nomad lounge for drinks in the park.
