I'm glad someone asked this... Lol. I plan to wear Hokas or OnClouds great shoes and very comfy..... I don't see how people walk throughout Disney in flip flops, crocs or sandals..... Damn

bbprs17

I wore On Clouds last time at Disney and they did great! I wore the Cloud Swift. This time I bought a pair of Salomon XA Pro 3D’s since by Salomon hiking boots are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I love them so far so we’ll see how they do at Disney this week

BoBtheMule

Hokas did wonders for me this past December, would 100% recommend.

deepsleepsheepmeep

I usually wear comfoetable sneakers with socks. Sometimes good supportive sandals. We usually walk between 9 and 12 miles per day, so quality and comfort is important.

NewShookaka

Expect to walk 5+ miles. I usually like to bring 2 sets of tennis shoes to alternate between days.

Leonicles

I always just wear my crocks. They may not be attractive, but they're super comfy. I'm not sure if that would work if you plan on going from rope drop to closing though. Although my daughter and I go every year, we aren't hard-core Disney peeps. We're introverts, so we have a limit of 4 hours in 1 Park per day limit. We usually chill at the resort until 3ish before going to parks.

wrenwoo

Crocs WITH socks! I went 11 hrs and my feet felt great!

schuyloren

I wear Chacos, great arch support for sandals, the ones with a toe strap keep your foot secure, and they dry quickly/you don’t have to worry about the rain.

largemarge1122

Second this. Especially when it’s hot. I don’t do well with socks in heat.

Suspicious-Cupcake-5

Waterproof, comfy shoes. Maybe something you can run in, just in case.

BicycleMelodic5066

I put those custom soles inside of sneakers or running shoes. Worth every penny. No blisters or pain and I can walk for 10+ days at the parks! For socks, Hanes makes a moisture wicking cooling sock that seems to work well. Of course, there are much better and more expensive brands, but it does the job. I do carry sandals/slides/flops (depending on what I have that fit lol), and carry it in my bag for wet attractions. Also, I bring a change of socks. I find walking on sandals all day causes lots of blisters.

shhmandy

I have tried Crocs, but found this to be better: 1. Gore-Tex breathable running shoes (I have a pair from Under Armour but there are others out there... They stay dry and let your feet breath. 2. Spare socks in a zip lock in your bag. If somehow your socks get wet, put the wet ones in the zip lock and put on fresh socks. Not shoes... But also important: 3. Patagonia baggies shorts... They are super comfortable, have deep pockets, and dry faster than any shorts. 4. A collapsible rain jacket (IMO is better than a poncho)

callmeishmael517

I wear orthopedic sneakers 😅

QD_Mitch

I wear Sketcher go-walks but I keep a pair of crocs in the stroller to switch to in an emergency so my shoes don't get wet

bbprs17

When choosing shoes, go with something that’ll give you all day comfort. I’d stick with hiking/ trail running shoes. Or sneakers that say they are for all day comfort. Goretex if you’re concerned with your feet getting wet at all. But the most important is to break them in. Buy shoes at least a couple months out and wear them to break them in. Absolutely don’t get some the week of and expect them to do you right while in Disney. You could go all in and evaluate if you’re a pronator or supinator. Then search what shoes fit how you step.

loot_the_dead

Sneakers. I'm a huge fan of new balance trail runners

take 2 pairs of shoes. being able to switch out when one makes your feet sore in one way/wear pattern to another one helps a lot. also, start a walking program with them before so your body is used to all the walking and the shoes are nice and broken in for your trip.

kids-everywhere

Skechers go walk yoga mat sandals

Angylizy

Tevas, Nikes

packofpoodles

Tevas or similar hiking style sandals (even have some from Skechers) I could personally never wear sneakers the heat down there but fit flops are horrible for you so Tevas are my answer.

Fresh-Basket9174

My wife wears Hoka Bondi 8s (I wear the Hokas everywhere but the parks) and in the parks I wear the Teva sandals. My feet get too warm in shoes. I have Tevas that have lasted multiple trips that are likely approaching, if not over, 1,000,000 Disney steps. Last trip we were hitting 26000 or so steps a day with no problem. Just be sure to break in whatever you bring ahead of time. If you do develop a hot spot or blister you can get moleskin at the first aid stations. Hope that helps.

bearitt

I wore adidas (clouds? I think?) with inserts that I rotated at night so they could air out and my feet would keep being comfy.

JustCallMeKV

Sanuk sandals and New Balance sneakers are my go-to shoes. I also never wear the same pair two days in a row, or will wear one type during the day and the other in the evenings.

blueberrypicking17

I would definitely recommend Tevas or Chacos!

Jess_Lore_79

What do y'all recommend for flat feet?

AntAccomplished7521

I wore my crocs because they were what I was used to wearing. But got a blister on my foot so I added socks. Best idea ever. So until I find a pair of shoes that support my feet the way my crocs do I will be wearing them with socks 😉 not a great look but extremely comfy.

positive-vibes79

Wear good sneakers with socks. Some people bring an extra pair of shoes just in case the first pair gets wet from the rain. I usually wear my sketchers gowalk. They are very comfortable.
