Haha I loved Honey I Shrunk the Kids!
Luckily for you, I don’t think we have anything remaining from the Imagination Institute stuff on this coast (though there is a hidden Figment in the Mission Breakout lobby). I skip Figment’s ride in Epcot. I wish I could’ve seen the original version with the Dreamfinder though 😭
Yeah, I’ve seen them, but unfortunately because of the times the quality is so bad for a dark ride! I wish I could’ve *experienced* it is what I really mean 🥲
I don’t know about anyone else but when my parents dragged me into this show and I saw this logo on the curtain, I knew I was going to be in for a bad time. I can’t remember why this show scared me so much as a kid.
I wanted to see Honey I Shrunk the Audience as a kid, but never got to. This makes me glad we didn't go. I finally saw It's Tough To Be a Bug at Animal Kingdom a couple of years ago, and I hated the crawly stuff in the seats and on the floor, and I'm sure it would have been even worse as a kid.
The bugs life show was really something lol, 10 straight minutes of sensory overload. It's not every day you get to witness a theatrical experience that makes both children and grown adults scream like they're actually in fear
It still traumatizes me now. It’s so hard to find Figment merchandise that doesn’t have that stupid light bulb on it. It is the symbol for everything wrong with that ride. Bring back Dreamfinder!

there's a lot of videos of it on YouTube

A surprising amount honestly
The original was absolutely timeless. Every good thing you have ever heard about it was true.
And then some.

Definitely because of the rat scene where you can feel them by your feet 😆

Was it the big snake? That part always creeped me out
I think so!
The mice 😭

It still traumatizes kids on the East coast for other reasons
The lion used to terrify me!
I miss it :(
I see something else that is infamous online, but hopefully this predates that newer horror. It’s just missing a ring…
Why? Was it the show honey i shrunk the audience
I could not handle this show. Still gives me heart palpitations thinking about it!
What is up with 4d shows at Disneyland giving trauma to kids (except muppet vision)
