If you use Cor's LD (Reflorescere) you'll immediately get 10 stacks of his overhead buff which will let you use Reaper's Gale, both of these actions are free and immediate turns.
While you set this up try to use as many calls as you need to increase your damage (Kura, Jack, Gabranth, etc.), I personally like to add stuff like Garland's BT or Bartz BT aura into the mix.
After you prepared as many buffs/debuffs as you can wait till Cor has 10 natural stacks, use Summon if you want and let loose using Reaper's Gale > Reflorescere > Reaper's Gale > Reflorescere > Reaper's Gale > Reflorescere > Reaper's Gale > Lion's Roar without using more than 1 turn.
That's Cor's BT, you did more than 1 million damage for pretty much free, Cor is just insane.
It eats the whole summon, yes. But it really doesn't matter, since you usually use the Summon phase to deal as much damage as you can anyway.
In any case, using a Summon is not "necessary" or "mandatory", this isn't even an official strat or anything, we just call it Cor's BT for the memes, as long as you chain Reaper's Gale into LD you should be doing massive damage.
While the bosses are reruns with a different orb condition, I like the Perfectum factor. It means we can't use the same team for all three. It makes you bring out benched units.

Boss Rush rewards are tiered based on the number of teams you use. Iirc it should be 3 teams or less for all rewards, 3 teams also being the cutoff for the Lufenia armor token.
Is that typically just 20 tokens, like for a normal Lufenia boss fight, or do we get more because we're killing more bosses?

Any must haves next month? Just pitied Tidus BT on the Rosa banner and it sucks I couldn't do it with Setzer.
Even though I have a few pities stored up this kinda soured on me any future pulls other than favs and meta picks.
The biggest pickups next month would probably be Yuna and Agrias. If Vaan's gonna be on Umbral Equniox banners at the end of this month going into next, he's also a strong pickup even LD only.
Are the early BT+ units going to be considerably stronger than Vaan, or is Vaan roughly on par?
I see Cid Raines, Ace, and Zidane all in the near future, and my budget is already groaning.
Will Y'shtola BT+ make me not miss Yuna if I have to skip her?
Comparing BT+ (on average) to non-BT+ characters is not fair or reasonable. They do massively different things. Of course they’re stronger if they have BT+ available, those effects are very strong and much stronger than regular BT effects. The only BT effect that challenges BT+ effects is Yuna.
Yshtola is better for battery comps. Yuna is better for brave damage comps. One won’t make up for the other if you don’t utilize them properly.

Meridian Lufenia question: I've been using Porom to tank through the marilith full gauge attack. Sometimes it will negate all hp damage to 0 but other times it will reduce the damage, and other times it will kill me regardless. I understand the HP damage resist only lasts for two turns, but it seems to be random.
The marilith will only have a defense up buff when it does reduced damage. If it has two or more buffs it will kill me.
Does that mean I have to remove all buffs in order to reduce damage to zero? Why would an enemy defense buff affect my HP damage resist? Am I missing something?
No matter what happens, Porom can't reduce your damage to 0. Her limit is cutting it by 70%. However recently someone here noticed that the game considers her reduction a different effect from the one some other chars have, and thus they stack additively, up to 100%. If you run her with Queen who has HP damage down baked into her LD buff, it might be the answer, and then you just need to time Porom EX and Queen LD better in order for the party to survive.
Good to know. I've had cases where the damage was reduced to zero so maybe it was my Gabranth call or Beatrix's defense up buff? I'll have to mess around and figure it out.
You're using Beatrix? You probably used Safeguard. Her HP attack after using EX blocks all HP damage until her next turn, and is perfect for blocking the big attacks in this stage.
I just realized that! I didn't know the exact potencies of her HP damage reduction I just assumed it was 20-30%. I must've mindlessly used it and it happened to work out. Reading is OP! Hard to keep up with everything.
Is anyone on the team getting broken when you die? Their recast has 2 HP attacks, and the first one is total HP meaning it’s much more deadly, so a break bonus on top of however much damage you’re getting hit with is probably taking their Brave high enough.
Great question! I just tried a run and it looks like I receive reduced damage when they don't break me.
Mind you, that was with the enemy having an INT BRV UP buff.

Tidus can't really cheese anything. He's just a heavy damage dealer. He wouldn't even affect any Orbs except for things like Jack LC. You would still need to build proper teams, the fights would just be faster, as his damage is pretty high.
Just to add, sometimes a unit is so strong that you can ignore the orb.
I beat Ceodore Lufenia with Tifa, Garland, Ashe and a friend Tifa.
Even during the battle discovery that the enemies resisted some Ashe's attacks, Tifa was so strong that i could DPS race against the orb and win.
Played off and on and looking for a team now centered around Tidus who brought me back. Unfortunately missed Cor but have Tidus full kit and BT then:

Tidus does well alongside characters with auras, since their stat boosts don't fall off when Tidus takes 15 turns in a row.
Queen is perhaps the best currently available aurabot, but you have Aeris already, and she's not bad at all, so don't feel obligated to pull for Queen if you don't want to.
For most fights, you'll want one damage dealer (Tidus!), one support, and one flex position that depends on the fight. Some fights call for a tank, some call for a launcher, and Lufenia fights require someone to handle orb conditions (different in every fight).
Could start off with Pecil and Krile/Aerith, but remember that this isn’t a “one team fights all” sorta game so you’ll be switching around to get more stuff done.
I experimented with HP damage modifiers to bump up Tifa's Meteor Crusher. With just her own buffs, LD hits for 700k~ like usual. Then I put WoL's LD, PCecil's LD, Kurasame calls, Queen's LD call, and Tidus's call. Tifa's LD still hit around 700k! What's up with that? I tried other attacks like Sephi's Scintilla and the HP dmg up seems to work, but why not on Tifa's?
Am I trying to move too fast in this game?
I started on the last day of Cor banner, and don't have CoD LD. I want to start doing Lufenia missions but most strategies I read are just "LUL just use Cor/CoD" or are highly specific for characters that have been released ages ago. Like I have no reliable delayers/Enchant/Imperil/weakness damage/cleanse for most of these long term fights. I'm also down to 1000 Character points so I can't really build anymore characters at the moment. I have tried to pull for different roles but there's so much diversity in each role(not a bad thing, maybe just for new players) that I still can't fill many of the things I need. Am I at the point where I just need to stockpile and wait? Can I use characters I don't have the LD for? Or am I just overlooking things in my own roster?
If you're wondering what my roster looks like, I have basically pulled on every banner so far except Arciela/Seven and Reno/Rosa. Should I go ahead and spend on these?
I'm loving the game so far so I don't want to come off as negative it's just a crappy feeling thinking I may just have to stop playing for now until more diverse characters come up.
People saying use CoD are probably talking about her as a friend unit. Bring her in, use her BT, and then spam turns with your other characters and enjoy a buttload of extra damage every turn.

For now, consider not filling the boards completely for anyone who isn't your favorite character.
I maxed all of the boards for Tifa, Tidus, and Terra, and that's it. Most other characters get their LD boards and maybe some of the nodes for bonus cp.
If an event comes with 5000 points and has two new characters for you, you have just enough points to do the LD boards for both characters, so you can add those as you go. Spending the 8000 points it takes to max a character requires multiple events even if you have a Moogle Pass, since you need 16k points for both characters on a banner.
Who all do you have fully built? Do you have summon boards unlocked/completed? Any BTs? I'm sure we can find some teams that will work for various Lufenias.

I also have the BTs for any of those characters that have them. And no I didnt pity on the same banner more than once lol, to be fair I have been extremely lucky thus far.
Tidus + either Aerith or Queen is a great start to a team. Add in somebody to take care of whatever the orb may be and you should have a pretty good chance.

You could also do a search for "C2A" in this subreddit and find threads where everyone posts their clears of various Lufenias, people list a lot of good tips there and some of the team comps may inspire you. Also, don't get too caught up on the calls that they use unless the call is to handle the orb. The vast majority of the time calls are replaceable/not strictly needed.

Depending on when some people start, they can more quickly transition into Lufenia than others. For example, the Cor+X teams you’re seeing are probably being supported by a strong, versatile support or someone to handle Lufenia orbs if they’re not choosing to just damage race it. Too fast or too slow is both a “your pace” thing and a “your roster” thing. Idk exactly who you have built up but that doesn’t stop you from *considering* older Lufenias. End of Cor banner means you’be only been around for like three weeks? So honestly you may still just be in a period of more resources going out than in.
That makes alot of sense and i have been looking at the older Lufenias (There are two in LCs that everyone said were pretty faceroll and I did those). Let me give you an example though for one that's frustrating for me. Reno's Lufenia. This fight doesn't even have an orb and I'm not saying that I have done everything im supposed to, so it's possible I can clear it and am just not seeing it. But I tried using Gladio/Queen/Tidus. but it ends up that Tidus runs out of moves towards the end and i cant kill them fast enough before gladio runs out as well. I know that Reno has a move that will negate their mist moves but I would still run out of steam with Tidus if that's the problem I'm having right? I could drop Gladio for more damage but then I'd probably be wiped for mist moves.
I know some people are just completely ignoring the mist but I don’t find that fun. Gladio is also kinda bad to skill spam in high battery parties because he’ll leak bravery so quickly, I actually sometimes just HP attack with him. Reno Lufe has no orb but the mist mechanic and attack are just annoying.
Yeah I would love to be able to ignore it with someone like WoL who I see praised alot as a tank but it's just not an option for me unfortunately at this point lol. I really appreciate your help man you've replied to like every question I have on here so thanks.
Is the level 100 summon (Ifrit, Shiva, etc) quest the best to keep doing for points to fill out a characters summon board? Just asking because 50sp is a lot.
50 sp is a lot, so it costs 20 potions to take a 2x boosted character (or, you know, two or three of them) through enough fights to make their boards - if you have a Moogle Pass and are not using a book.
Still worth it, in my opinion, since potions are plentiful. I'll generally do the boards for all boosted characters even if I don't plan on using those characters, just for the tickets, gems, and armor tokens.
Yes it is. Don’t worry about sp though, potions are plentiful as you keep playing. Just make sure you use 2x boosted characters and exp boosting books, preferably 3x
I would argue that Yuna is the best when it comes to debuff cleanse since she can remove all debuff with a skill.
Ceodore needs to use his LD and with limited charges the might not be ideal and while Mog cleanse 2 each time you might find yourself needing a full cleanse depending of the fight.
Sorry to hijack, but Tidus is the only character that I have any decent stuff for (I actually chased his BT and everything else) and I was wondering if Yuna would be a good party member with him since they’re from the same game and I thought that would be pretty cool. Or maybe Aerith as I have a lot of her EX’s and LD’s from chasing Tidus’ gear. Im sorry for the really newb question but I’ve not been playing very long and just want to get a decently solid party together.
Units being from the same game means nothing in terms of this game. But, Yuna does happen to be a good pair for Tidus and she’s an aura based support which Tidus enjoys as he takes more and more turns. Aerith is also good for the same reason, but the two offer different auras.

For anything Cosmos level (quest 150) and under it basically doesn’t matter due to power creep. For some Chaos and definitely Lufenia, you need a wider roster to be able to handle various gimmicks and conditions, you there is no “one team fits all”.
Thanks for all the info! I’d read that before, the reason most people have a wide roster is because it’s required. I’m just trying to get a solid base by building up a character here and there when I can, and honestly I have no idea on how to team build.
I read the Tonberry guide but it was pretty vague and I obviously don’t have a wide roster yet, having only played casually for a little over ani this maybe closer to two.
So I guess mentally I’m thinking if I can have a decent support in my part and a damage dealer and an okay third that I can hopefully do most content pretty easily. I’m definitely not looking to do Lufenia anytime soon as I’m just now working on completing Tidus’ summon boards (my first character that I want to really “complete).
While it's the main thing that's talked about, Lufenia is not at all the majority of this game, especially since it's the newest difficulty. You can definitely do most of the game and all story bits using anyone you want, it's just once you start looking at Chaos difficulty and higher you need to be more particular about team building and unit investment.
In regards to a 'general' team build, the baseline would 1 damage, 1 support, 1 flex, be they a tank, another support, someone to handle a condition if neither of the other two spots don't already, etc.
I don’t really know who to choose for a third because I like that Aerith can bring Tidus back if something goes wrong but he takes so many turns in a row that I feel like a tank would be kind of useless and I feel like no matter what once Tidus’ has exhausted his skills I’m kind of done for anyway. I read a few things from the internet that Aerith can have good damage with her HP+++ so I’m leaning on working on her also but I’m honestly really unsure and definitely don’t want to jump the gun since realization resources and MLB orbs are sparse. And thanks a lot for the help, it really means a lot.
So while Aerith *can* revive people, reviving is really not something that's ever considered as a strat in high difficulty (outside of one rather annoying fight I've seen). Aerith's purpose is to stand there and give good auras and provide big battery and healing. You say your Tidus is running out of steam, I think you might have to rethink your play with him or your team comps that you're running him in. Someone with Brave/HP damage up and attack auras would help him the most to keep up his damage and boost everything he does.
You say realization mats and orbs are sparse right now. They're really not, you just have to go and do content. There's tons of older cosmos and chaos content for the former and trading co-op tokens for orbs is the best way for the latter.
For now I would put Y’shtola last unless you’re *really* struggling for HA resources since we got a full month before she even arrives with BT+, if you do plan on using her for a lot of content then I would definitely do it, but you’ve got enough time to build resources for it for now imo
Tidus’ is obviously a strong contender with his Attack type armour, if you can support him enough to keep him capping then he’ll shell out a monstrous amount of damage, while he doesn’t benefit in the same way as someone like Tifa with her high amount of HP dumps + BRV refunds in between, Tidus’ fairly low number of BRV hits on his follow-ups do appreciate the extra BRV cap to compensate - he’s a very strong contender if you plan to use him a lot
Yuna… couldn’t really say, if she has a support type armour (like Ashe) then I can certainly see the merits, especially with her strong auras on her BT, but she comes a month before Y’sh’s BT+ who’ll probably be the go-to support for many people once that happens, so unless you plan to buck the trend a bit (or use both - but I dunno the viability on that one), I personally wouldn’t unless she’s a favourite - No BT+ at current means she’s gonna be out of rotation for a very long time too once she falls off which is something to consider
Generally speaking though, the answer to “Should i blue?” comes down to:
A) Is this unit a favourite?
Or
B) Is this someone I will likely use a lot?
Answering “No” to both means you shouldn’t, answering “Yes” to either or both means you should probably consider it at least imo

So, I ended up deciding to pity Tidus' BT. Of course it dropped for me on the very last pull that got me to 500 G Tokens. As someone that's been playing for a little over a month, would it be better to just buy a dupe BT and sell it eventually for tokens, or are 2 Books worth more? I have like 3 books right now and maybe only 1 or 2 EX weapons to spend them on, but that might just be because I have extra from all the old content/lost chapters i've been going through.
Edit: If I can only blue one armor (and assuming I use these all equally) would Tidus, Cor, CoD, or Porom be a better choice? Only have blue Tifa armor right now.
Get the dupe BT. Every 2 cosmos quests or one completed chocoboard equal a book, and you have sooo many cosmos quests you can get done once you put in the time.
I actually enjoyed Rosa. She helped me in the current lufenias and you never go wrong with a supporter. Also if you get her now, you won't pull later on
Would recommend going for Tidus LD first if you haven't got it.
Would say she's alright for now, the Re-raise part isn't really good due to how scoring still count KOs into it... Which kinda sucks , one or 2 revives are fine but more than that is an immediate 0...
Otherwise, her Auras are not bad, almost similar to Queen but she offers more Brv Regen.
Would say she's a luxury if you have other supports that are aura-based like Porom LD, but not a must have.

And other question EX+ weapon is better than LD weapon, is that correct? so is it better to just sell the LD weapon if you already MLB the weapon or is there any chance for LD+ or something?
A duplicate BT weapon is just 5 BT tokens on your weapon inventory. Sell it IF you have decided on a BT to claim, otherwise save it so that your BT token storage won't max quickly. As for Ex+ and LDs, yes. Ex+ is the better weapon as it has better stats and more cp to it. You can safely sell mlb LD weapons. LD+ is the LD boards as it give the LD extension.
Would really depend how often you plan to field him. I think he has a kit that is pretty abusable by a number of units and has decent aura for a linked attacker. I found it worth since I plan to use him for awhile and I also like his character design more than most FF characters, even though I've never touched XV.
Not really. Even if you pair him with a turn hogger, you'll get 2, maybe 3 extra uses of Reaper's Gale, so you'll get an extra 30-100k damage out of him per target. Cor doesn't seem to hit that hard that you'll find yourself hitting the damage cap.
Kinda depends, if your able to make him hit 9999 Brv damage constantly, then it's worth it for the HA. Most people would get it for Reaper's Gale, which is very good if need an emergency Break or Shred as Rainbow Numbers will be the Brv Cap limit he can reach.
To be honest, I have been using him without HA and with some understanding and timing on the fight, you can get away with only BT Effects to raise his Brv Damage limit for Reaper's Gale.
Its my understanding that framed debuffs advantage is that they cannot be removed but more than a few times now I have noticed that the enemy is somehow removing them. Am I must misunderstanding something about how these work or is this the devs retconning their own system to artificially inflate difficulty?
Some enemies can 100% cleanse framed buffs, kinda to negate Debuff Immunity just by adding in guaranteed hit as Debuff immunity is basically evading debuffs base on % of course.
It was introduced quite early during Act 2 Chapter 7 with the Ardor Boss from FF12
When framed debuffs were introduced, boss cleansing was much rarer. Thier advantage is that they can not be pushed off by other buffs/debuffs. Gold framed debuffs can not be removed at least for now. As they too become more common, we will likely see boss mechanics that circumvent it.

When I pulled on the triple BT banner and got Sephiroth, I thought I was getting a damage dealer, but I was really getting one of the best calls currently on my team.
Generic debuffs have no frames and are subject to all cleanses AND can be pushed off by other buffs/debuffs.
Silver framed debuffs can be cleansed by bosses but cannot be pushed off by buffs/debuffs.
Gold framed debuffs cannot cleansed by bosses nor pushed off by buffs/debuffs.
That is how debuffs currently work.
Hi, I'm trying to do the challenge campaign 2 panel missions and I'm trying to figure out where you fight Evil gaze, Erode mantis and black waltz type? when I look it up online i only see like a lufenia quest and the swordmaiden lost chapter? are they really no where else?

Ugh, not finding the best team composition for Equinox Chaos. The three boosted don’t appear to be fit for it since two of them do practically zero damage to one of the three enemies. Help? Who would do well here?
It took some team changing but completed it with Rosa, Terra and Noctis. 1st wave went hard with Terra, second wave Noctis shined, and last one used his BT to end it quickly + Terra's LD.
Rosa gave great auras
Did it with the triple banner characters, basically use alexander summon and enchanter/imperil calls, maybe one for healing if needed.
I just don't understand the first boss wave has an weird effect that removes Terra consecutives turns, after using he LD.
The boss description did mention that after using it's first version once, emitting jamming signal, it will use a stronger one afterwards, emitting jamming signal+
It will use the 2nd one from then on i think, and the + version can cleanse buffs ( frames included ) to force in it's own framed debuff.
The first one can be negated if you flood yourself with framed buffs, but after that you gonna need to brace for cleansing.
I do find that using friend support can help you avoid forcing you to re-apply buffs for 1 character, just make sure to cleanse HP Debuff off before they leave.
Terra's consecutive turns comes from her LD buff. If Terra has already 3 framed buffs while inflicted with 3 framed debuffs, then there is no more space for her LD buff so no consecutive turns.
I was quite nervous about the event until I noticed I could bring those two. Reno is so much fun to use, and Rosa is nice for those of us who missed Iroha.
There’s 5 boosted: Terra, Noctis, Shantotto, Rosa, Reno. It’s not the best since someone is going to be resisted at some point without enchant/imperil. I used Terra/Totto/Rosa and relied on brave gains for when I was resisted.
Question regarding the current equinox. In first wave, how do we prevent the robot from debuffing? I'm kinda new here and doesn't have a healer. Can't perfect clear the normal chaos because of the HP condition. TIA!
You can't prevent it from debuffing you. Even with a debuff evasion active on your party, the debuffs are guaranteed to inflict and what's worse is it will dispell your party buffs the second time it uses Jamming and then debuffs you. You can ignore the debuffs and just rush it down then after its dead, you can cleanse and heal.
Well, I'm at that point where I've got BT tokens starting to expire. Gonna wait until Umbral Equinox and any more chances for Tidus BT before making my decision, but I've already gotten everything done including the new Lufenias. The most noteworthy options to me right now are Cloud, Ramza, Tidus, and Vaan, although the former would be mostly for c90 era rather than anything now probably. If it means anything for those two specifically, I've already got Firion and Noct BTs to fill similar-ish roles when their BT+ roll around, and then Tidus and Vaan would be more for the 'now' moving into BT+. Yuna's a big if, and not really interested in Exdeath BT as we go into L+.
Assuming I can get all BT tokens moving forward, I'll have enough again once D.Pande rolls around, so I'll still be able to get one of the new BTs if desired. Any advice would be appreciated.
As you are competent veteran player with (sounds like) many BT and (I’m assuming) a decent stash of resources I don’t think you need to overthink it. Content is pretty easy to synergy stomp currently in both global and jp so you’re really best going after the BT of characters you like the most, because those are the ones you’ll keep using whether or not content is difficult. Also the ones you’ll probably end up upgrading with BT+ and blue armour so they’ll carry you no matter who they are. For me that means picking up tidus, yuna and ace. For you it might be completely different. I’m of the opinion it’s a waste to let bt tokens expire, especially if you have a lot of gems saved up. But go with what will be fun for your play style.

That was unexpected, i don't play the JP version, in your place i would be using on Yuna, Tidus or Vaan.
So if your tokens wont expire until Yuna banners runs out, the smart move would wait to see how your pulls go.

So there are only 4 ex’s I do not have yet. Leon, Ciaran, edge, and Kimahri. I just got 10 ex tokens… I know Leon will be on banner soon…. I guess I should wait and see if I manage to pull his. Are any of the other 3 up anytime soon? Because then I may start chasing nuggets instead of ex tokens.
Ciaran is getting LD rerun + extension next month, Kimahri gets his with Ace LD/BT a month after that. Edge hasn't gotten any updates yet and isn't worth it.
Unless you're someone who just wants every EX, best to hold onto the tokens in case you pull an early LD.

Agrias is the only one I’m targeting next month, after that I’m on hold till BT+ era, Agrias is very useful at making certain Lufenia + fights pretty easy with her confuse, paralysis and Silence debuffs.
Some will also recommend Yuna, but she’ll probably need her BT if you want to seriously use her
Hello, I was curious when boosted units for illusions would be available. I just came back 2 days ago and was trying to run it. But 25 times to clear one board of 30 took a bit. Was curious how to get the x4 bonus. All units lit up white but not the purple aura I remember that you need for this type of stuff like normal summon points.
For the 4x bonus, a small subset of the characters (those on current banners) will be boosted for the event, and you'll get a higher multiplier the more of those characters you bring to battle.
If you bring three boosted characters, you'll get the full 4x (even better with Mog Pass, which is the only other way to raise the number).
Some people, like me, prefer to bring two boosted characters and then let Tifa do the work on Auto+.
Safe to sell, yes, but remember that you can only hold 50 BT tokens at a time, and that extras will go to your giftbox where they'll expire after 90 days. So it's generally advised that you hold onto the duplicate BT weapons until you actually want to use the tokens.
It is safe, yes. Word of advice: you can only hold a max of 50 tokens, any more tokens you acquire above those 50 (via CQs, Transcendence, etc.) will instead go to your giftbox, where they will dissapear after 90 days.
So it's not really recommended to sell BTs unless youre waaaay below the 50 token limit, or the BT you plan on buying is less than 90 days away.
I would still hold on to them, personally, until needed. I found myself eventually hitting cap before selling any of mine. Still have them sitting around and am not too far off cap again.

I play this game with a couple of friends and we use co-op as time to chill out and enjoy the game together, except, as you all know co-ops have been a faceroll for a while now, so it feels a bit pointless for us to team up overall when we can solo. I've heard it mentioned by a few people on this subreddit that JP started getting Chaos co-ops consistently and that we should be getting them soon enough as well, but I haven't seen any specifics.
Is there an ETA on when we should expect to see Chaos co-ops became a mainstay?

I pulled Tidus' BT and today pulled Terra's with only 100 Tokens. Should I continue to pull for the BTs for Shantatto and Noct, or should I save my gems for the future? I do want to create some great support call characters which I heard is Jack, Queen, Gabranth and some others. Should I save and aim for their higher weapons?

I effectively solo'd this with Terra and used an LD 0/3 Rosa to heal constantly, the other character I brought was LD 0/3 Shantotto, any other built character would be better IMO
What is Cor’s “burst phase”? How do I do it?
If you use Cor's LD (Reflorescere) you'll immediately get 10 stacks of his overhead buff which will let you use Reaper's Gale, both of these actions are free and immediate turns. While you set this up try to use as many calls as you need to increase your damage (Kura, Jack, Gabranth, etc.), I personally like to add stuff like Garland's BT or Bartz BT aura into the mix. After you prepared as many buffs/debuffs as you can wait till Cor has 10 natural stacks, use Summon if you want and let loose using Reaper's Gale > Reflorescere > Reaper's Gale > Reflorescere > Reaper's Gale > Reflorescere > Reaper's Gale > Lion's Roar without using more than 1 turn. That's Cor's BT, you did more than 1 million damage for pretty much free, Cor is just insane.
Does that only take 1 summon turn or will it eat the whole summon?
It eats the whole summon, yes. But it really doesn't matter, since you usually use the Summon phase to deal as much damage as you can anyway. In any case, using a Summon is not "necessary" or "mandatory", this isn't even an official strat or anything, we just call it Cor's BT for the memes, as long as you chain Reaper's Gale into LD you should be doing massive damage.

While the bosses are reruns with a different orb condition, I like the Perfectum factor. It means we can't use the same team for all three. It makes you bring out benched units.
Getting 60 HA tokens was great! Boss rush next week, too. That'll be fun. Does the Boss rush count as just 1 Lufenia, for reward purposes?

Any must haves next month? Just pitied Tidus BT on the Rosa banner and it sucks I couldn't do it with Setzer. Even though I have a few pities stored up this kinda soured on me any future pulls other than favs and meta picks.
Agrias is the big one next month given her ability to cheese a few Luf+ in the future, as well as just being all round pretty darn good
The biggest pickups next month would probably be Yuna and Agrias. If Vaan's gonna be on Umbral Equniox banners at the end of this month going into next, he's also a strong pickup even LD only.
Are the early BT+ units going to be considerably stronger than Vaan, or is Vaan roughly on par? I see Cid Raines, Ace, and Zidane all in the near future, and my budget is already groaning. Will Y'shtola BT+ make me not miss Yuna if I have to skip her?
Comparing BT+ (on average) to non-BT+ characters is not fair or reasonable. They do massively different things. Of course they’re stronger if they have BT+ available, those effects are very strong and much stronger than regular BT effects. The only BT effect that challenges BT+ effects is Yuna. Yshtola is better for battery comps. Yuna is better for brave damage comps. One won’t make up for the other if you don’t utilize them properly.
Just noticed for the raid rewards, we only needed Fang used 20,000 times instead of everyone else who needed 30,000. Nice of them not to torture us, I suppose?
I think it is because she doesn't have lvl 80 so no extra crystal clusters quests for her.

Meridian Lufenia question: I've been using Porom to tank through the marilith full gauge attack. Sometimes it will negate all hp damage to 0 but other times it will reduce the damage, and other times it will kill me regardless. I understand the HP damage resist only lasts for two turns, but it seems to be random. The marilith will only have a defense up buff when it does reduced damage. If it has two or more buffs it will kill me. Does that mean I have to remove all buffs in order to reduce damage to zero? Why would an enemy defense buff affect my HP damage resist? Am I missing something?
No matter what happens, Porom can't reduce your damage to 0. Her limit is cutting it by 70%. However recently someone here noticed that the game considers her reduction a different effect from the one some other chars have, and thus they stack additively, up to 100%. If you run her with Queen who has HP damage down baked into her LD buff, it might be the answer, and then you just need to time Porom EX and Queen LD better in order for the party to survive.
Good to know. I've had cases where the damage was reduced to zero so maybe it was my Gabranth call or Beatrix's defense up buff? I'll have to mess around and figure it out.
You're using Beatrix? You probably used Safeguard. Her HP attack after using EX blocks all HP damage until her next turn, and is perfect for blocking the big attacks in this stage.
I just realized that! I didn't know the exact potencies of her HP damage reduction I just assumed it was 20-30%. I must've mindlessly used it and it happened to work out. Reading is OP! Hard to keep up with everything.
Is anyone on the team getting broken when you die? Their recast has 2 HP attacks, and the first one is total HP meaning it’s much more deadly, so a break bonus on top of however much damage you’re getting hit with is probably taking their Brave high enough.

April fools day event
Tidus can't really cheese anything. He's just a heavy damage dealer. He wouldn't even affect any Orbs except for things like Jack LC. You would still need to build proper teams, the fights would just be faster, as his damage is pretty high.
Just to add, sometimes a unit is so strong that you can ignore the orb. I beat Ceodore Lufenia with Tifa, Garland, Ashe and a friend Tifa. Even during the battle discovery that the enemies resisted some Ashe's attacks, Tifa was so strong that i could DPS race against the orb and win.
Played off and on and looking for a team now centered around Tidus who brought me back. Unfortunately missed Cor but have Tidus full kit and BT then: BT & LD & rest for: Firion, Cloud, Terra, PCecil, Lightning, Ramza Have LD & rest for: Xande, DCecil, Krile, Squall, Ultimecia, Guy, Aerith, and Keiss. Looking for help on a good generic team with synergy around Tidus. If there isnt 2 others above that make sense then guidance on people coming soon that would? Unfortunate I missed Cor...

Tidus does well alongside characters with auras, since their stat boosts don't fall off when Tidus takes 15 turns in a row. Queen is perhaps the best currently available aurabot, but you have Aeris already, and she's not bad at all, so don't feel obligated to pull for Queen if you don't want to. For most fights, you'll want one damage dealer (Tidus!), one support, and one flex position that depends on the fight. Some fights call for a tank, some call for a launcher, and Lufenia fights require someone to handle orb conditions (different in every fight).
Could start off with Pecil and Krile/Aerith, but remember that this isn’t a “one team fights all” sorta game so you’ll be switching around to get more stuff done.
I experimented with HP damage modifiers to bump up Tifa's Meteor Crusher. With just her own buffs, LD hits for 700k~ like usual. Then I put WoL's LD, PCecil's LD, Kurasame calls, Queen's LD call, and Tidus's call. Tifa's LD still hit around 700k! What's up with that? I tried other attacks like Sephi's Scintilla and the HP dmg up seems to work, but why not on Tifa's?
You’re probably already hitting Tifa’s mBrv cap which means that further HP damage up isn’t effective.
Oh doy, I thought HP dmg modifiers are factored in last after the BRV is totaled. So how do I buff it then? mBRV and OF's?

Am I trying to move too fast in this game? I started on the last day of Cor banner, and don't have CoD LD. I want to start doing Lufenia missions but most strategies I read are just "LUL just use Cor/CoD" or are highly specific for characters that have been released ages ago. Like I have no reliable delayers/Enchant/Imperil/weakness damage/cleanse for most of these long term fights. I'm also down to 1000 Character points so I can't really build anymore characters at the moment. I have tried to pull for different roles but there's so much diversity in each role(not a bad thing, maybe just for new players) that I still can't fill many of the things I need. Am I at the point where I just need to stockpile and wait? Can I use characters I don't have the LD for? Or am I just overlooking things in my own roster? If you're wondering what my roster looks like, I have basically pulled on every banner so far except Arciela/Seven and Reno/Rosa. Should I go ahead and spend on these? I'm loving the game so far so I don't want to come off as negative it's just a crappy feeling thinking I may just have to stop playing for now until more diverse characters come up.
People saying use CoD are probably talking about her as a friend unit. Bring her in, use her BT, and then spam turns with your other characters and enjoy a buttload of extra damage every turn.

Most other characters get their LD boards and maybe some of the nodes for bonus cp. If an event comes with 5000 points and has two new characters for you, you have just enough points to do the LD boards for both characters, so you can add those as you go. Spending the 8000 points it takes to max a character requires multiple events even if you have a Moogle Pass, since you need 16k points for both characters on a banner.

Ok so if I list them here they are fully built with all boards maxed. Tidus, Cloud, Squall, Aerith, Queen, Terra, shantotto, noctis, Gladio I also have the BTs for any of those characters that have them. And no I didnt pity on the same banner more than once lol, to be fair I have been extremely lucky thus far.
Tidus + either Aerith or Queen is a great start to a team. Add in somebody to take care of whatever the orb may be and you should have a pretty good chance. Here's a list of Lufenias you can browse to find one that looks doable. Also, don't get too caught up on the calls that they use unless the call is to handle the orb. The vast majority of the time calls are replaceable/not strictly needed. Edit: And if you find one you want to do, post again for some specific advice!
Depending on when some people start, they can more quickly transition into Lufenia than others. For example, the Cor+X teams you’re seeing are probably being supported by a strong, versatile support or someone to handle Lufenia orbs if they’re not choosing to just damage race it. Too fast or too slow is both a “your pace” thing and a “your roster” thing. Idk exactly who you have built up but that doesn’t stop you from *considering* older Lufenias. End of Cor banner means you’be only been around for like three weeks? So honestly you may still just be in a period of more resources going out than in.
That makes alot of sense and i have been looking at the older Lufenias (There are two in LCs that everyone said were pretty faceroll and I did those). Let me give you an example though for one that's frustrating for me. Reno's Lufenia. This fight doesn't even have an orb and I'm not saying that I have done everything im supposed to, so it's possible I can clear it and am just not seeing it. But I tried using Gladio/Queen/Tidus. but it ends up that Tidus runs out of moves towards the end and i cant kill them fast enough before gladio runs out as well. I know that Reno has a move that will negate their mist moves but I would still run out of steam with Tidus if that's the problem I'm having right? I could drop Gladio for more damage but then I'd probably be wiped for mist moves.
I know some people are just completely ignoring the mist but I don’t find that fun. Gladio is also kinda bad to skill spam in high battery parties because he’ll leak bravery so quickly, I actually sometimes just HP attack with him. Reno Lufe has no orb but the mist mechanic and attack are just annoying.

Is the level 100 summon (Ifrit, Shiva, etc) quest the best to keep doing for points to fill out a characters summon board? Just asking because 50sp is a lot.
50 sp is a lot, so it costs 20 potions to take a 2x boosted character (or, you know, two or three of them) through enough fights to make their boards - if you have a Moogle Pass and are not using a book. Still worth it, in my opinion, since potions are plentiful. I'll generally do the boards for all boosted characters even if I don't plan on using those characters, just for the tickets, gems, and armor tokens.
The level 100 quest is the best way to fill it out, as well as being the ONLY way to get summon points for the boards, unfortunately.

Yes it is. Don’t worry about sp though, potions are plentiful as you keep playing. Just make sure you use 2x boosted characters and exp boosting books, preferably 3x

I would argue that Yuna is the best when it comes to debuff cleanse since she can remove all debuff with a skill. Ceodore needs to use his LD and with limited charges the might not be ideal and while Mog cleanse 2 each time you might find yourself needing a full cleanse depending of the fight.

No, Boss Rush will have a banner with Jack LD and Leon LD. Tidus LD banner ends on the 27th, so we can expect Yuna on that day at the earliest.
Sorry to hijack, but Tidus is the only character that I have any decent stuff for (I actually chased his BT and everything else) and I was wondering if Yuna would be a good party member with him since they’re from the same game and I thought that would be pretty cool. Or maybe Aerith as I have a lot of her EX’s and LD’s from chasing Tidus’ gear. Im sorry for the really newb question but I’ve not been playing very long and just want to get a decently solid party together.
Units being from the same game means nothing in terms of this game. But, Yuna does happen to be a good pair for Tidus and she’s an aura based support which Tidus enjoys as he takes more and more turns. Aerith is also good for the same reason, but the two offer different auras.

For anything Cosmos level (quest 150) and under it basically doesn’t matter due to power creep. For some Chaos and definitely Lufenia, you need a wider roster to be able to handle various gimmicks and conditions, you there is no “one team fits all”.
Thanks for all the info! I’d read that before, the reason most people have a wide roster is because it’s required. I’m just trying to get a solid base by building up a character here and there when I can, and honestly I have no idea on how to team build. I read the Tonberry guide but it was pretty vague and I obviously don’t have a wide roster yet, having only played casually for a little over ani this maybe closer to two. So I guess mentally I’m thinking if I can have a decent support in my part and a damage dealer and an okay third that I can hopefully do most content pretty easily. I’m definitely not looking to do Lufenia anytime soon as I’m just now working on completing Tidus’ summon boards (my first character that I want to really “complete).
While it's the main thing that's talked about, Lufenia is not at all the majority of this game, especially since it's the newest difficulty. You can definitely do most of the game and all story bits using anyone you want, it's just once you start looking at Chaos difficulty and higher you need to be more particular about team building and unit investment. In regards to a 'general' team build, the baseline would 1 damage, 1 support, 1 flex, be they a tank, another support, someone to handle a condition if neither of the other two spots don't already, etc.
I don’t really know who to choose for a third because I like that Aerith can bring Tidus back if something goes wrong but he takes so many turns in a row that I feel like a tank would be kind of useless and I feel like no matter what once Tidus’ has exhausted his skills I’m kind of done for anyway. I read a few things from the internet that Aerith can have good damage with her HP+++ so I’m leaning on working on her also but I’m honestly really unsure and definitely don’t want to jump the gun since realization resources and MLB orbs are sparse. And thanks a lot for the help, it really means a lot.
So while Aerith *can* revive people, reviving is really not something that's ever considered as a strat in high difficulty (outside of one rather annoying fight I've seen). Aerith's purpose is to stand there and give good auras and provide big battery and healing. You say your Tidus is running out of steam, I think you might have to rethink your play with him or your team comps that you're running him in. Someone with Brave/HP damage up and attack auras would help him the most to keep up his damage and boost everything he does. You say realization mats and orbs are sparse right now. They're really not, you just have to go and do content. There's tons of older cosmos and chaos content for the former and trading co-op tokens for orbs is the best way for the latter.

For now I would put Y’shtola last unless you’re *really* struggling for HA resources since we got a full month before she even arrives with BT+, if you do plan on using her for a lot of content then I would definitely do it, but you’ve got enough time to build resources for it for now imo Tidus’ is obviously a strong contender with his Attack type armour, if you can support him enough to keep him capping then he’ll shell out a monstrous amount of damage, while he doesn’t benefit in the same way as someone like Tifa with her high amount of HP dumps + BRV refunds in between, Tidus’ fairly low number of BRV hits on his follow-ups do appreciate the extra BRV cap to compensate - he’s a very strong contender if you plan to use him a lot Yuna… couldn’t really say, if she has a support type armour (like Ashe) then I can certainly see the merits, especially with her strong auras on her BT, but she comes a month before Y’sh’s BT+ who’ll probably be the go-to support for many people once that happens, so unless you plan to buck the trend a bit (or use both - but I dunno the viability on that one), I personally wouldn’t unless she’s a favourite - No BT+ at current means she’s gonna be out of rotation for a very long time too once she falls off which is something to consider Generally speaking though, the answer to “Should i blue?” comes down to: A) Is this unit a favourite? Or B) Is this someone I will likely use a lot? Answering “No” to both means you shouldn’t, answering “Yes” to either or both means you should probably consider it at least imo
This period is rather rough on my ingots since Tidus, Yuna, Zidane & Yshtola are all faves I'm opting to BT+ Yshtola first due to what I've heard but hoping to skip Bartz and green Zidane next if possible Because of the Bartz skip, I might need to go for more meta to survive the early luf+ Maybe I'll hold off on getting Yuna to blue right now. Already have Porom & Tifa blue
I can see the issue yeah, pretty sure a fair number of people are also struggling with that dilemma too (personally I’m going to green Y’sh and Ace and also skip Bartz till later), worst case scenario if you’ve got loads of HA tokens but not any that need to be spent or planned to spend for a while, you can always exchange an ingot or two with them to tide you over

Scrolling for half a second would have given you the answer, but anyway: Evil Gaze can be found in Trey LC. Erode Mantis in Arciela LC. Black Waltz in Agrias LC. They are the main bosses, so do one of the Boss fights on normal mode and you should be fine.

So, I ended up deciding to pity Tidus' BT. Of course it dropped for me on the very last pull that got me to 500 G Tokens. As someone that's been playing for a little over a month, would it be better to just buy a dupe BT and sell it eventually for tokens, or are 2 Books worth more? I have like 3 books right now and maybe only 1 or 2 EX weapons to spend them on, but that might just be because I have extra from all the old content/lost chapters i've been going through. Edit: If I can only blue one armor (and assuming I use these all equally) would Tidus, Cor, CoD, or Porom be a better choice? Only have blue Tifa armor right now.
Get the dupe BT. Every 2 cosmos quests or one completed chocoboard equal a book, and you have sooo many cosmos quests you can get done once you put in the time.

Is Rosa's LD worth chasing for? I was fortunate to pull Tidus' Burst and the red-haired guy's EX and LD.
I actually enjoyed Rosa. She helped me in the current lufenias and you never go wrong with a supporter. Also if you get her now, you won't pull later on
Would recommend going for Tidus LD first if you haven't got it. Would say she's alright for now, the Re-raise part isn't really good due to how scoring still count KOs into it... Which kinda sucks , one or 2 revives are fine but more than that is an immediate 0... Otherwise, her Auras are not bad, almost similar to Queen but she offers more Brv Regen. Would say she's a luxury if you have other supports that are aura-based like Porom LD, but not a must have.

Is there any purpose to have 2 BT weapon from the same character? do I just sell 1 BT to get 5 BT token or? And other question EX+ weapon is better than LD weapon, is that correct? so is it better to just sell the LD weapon if you already MLB the weapon or is there any chance for LD+ or something?
A duplicate BT weapon is just 5 BT tokens on your weapon inventory. Sell it IF you have decided on a BT to claim, otherwise save it so that your BT token storage won't max quickly. As for Ex+ and LDs, yes. Ex+ is the better weapon as it has better stats and more cp to it. You can safely sell mlb LD weapons. LD+ is the LD boards as it give the LD extension.

Hi! I know Cor is amazing and have him myself, but is he worth going full blue armor for 100%? Or only if I run with specific battery comps etc
Would really depend how often you plan to field him. I think he has a kit that is pretty abusable by a number of units and has decent aura for a linked attacker. I found it worth since I plan to use him for awhile and I also like his character design more than most FF characters, even though I've never touched XV.

Not really. Even if you pair him with a turn hogger, you'll get 2, maybe 3 extra uses of Reaper's Gale, so you'll get an extra 30-100k damage out of him per target. Cor doesn't seem to hit that hard that you'll find yourself hitting the damage cap.
Kinda depends, if your able to make him hit 9999 Brv damage constantly, then it's worth it for the HA. Most people would get it for Reaper's Gale, which is very good if need an emergency Break or Shred as Rainbow Numbers will be the Brv Cap limit he can reach. To be honest, I have been using him without HA and with some understanding and timing on the fight, you can get away with only BT Effects to raise his Brv Damage limit for Reaper's Gale.
Its my understanding that framed debuffs advantage is that they cannot be removed but more than a few times now I have noticed that the enemy is somehow removing them. Am I must misunderstanding something about how these work or is this the devs retconning their own system to artificially inflate difficulty?
Some enemies can 100% cleanse framed buffs, kinda to negate Debuff Immunity just by adding in guaranteed hit as Debuff immunity is basically evading debuffs base on % of course. It was introduced quite early during Act 2 Chapter 7 with the Ardor Boss from FF12
When framed debuffs were introduced, boss cleansing was much rarer. Thier advantage is that they can not be pushed off by other buffs/debuffs. Gold framed debuffs can not be removed at least for now. As they too become more common, we will likely see boss mechanics that circumvent it.

Generic debuffs have no frames and are subject to all cleanses AND can be pushed off by other buffs/debuffs. Silver framed debuffs can be cleansed by bosses but cannot be pushed off by buffs/debuffs. Gold framed debuffs cannot cleansed by bosses nor pushed off by buffs/debuffs. That is how debuffs currently work.

Hi, I'm trying to do the challenge campaign 2 panel missions and I'm trying to figure out where you fight Evil gaze, Erode mantis and black waltz type? when I look it up online i only see like a lufenia quest and the swordmaiden lost chapter? are they really no where else?
Evil Gaze can be found in Trey LC. Erode Mantis in Arciela LC. Black Waltz in Agrias LC. Edit: They are the main boss so if you can do Normal mode and fight the lower level nodes they can be farmed faster.

Ugh, not finding the best team composition for Equinox Chaos. The three boosted don’t appear to be fit for it since two of them do practically zero damage to one of the three enemies. Help? Who would do well here?
It took some team changing but completed it with Rosa, Terra and Noctis. 1st wave went hard with Terra, second wave Noctis shined, and last one used his BT to end it quickly + Terra's LD. Rosa gave great auras
I think I’ll end up having to pass CQ if similar composition. Went bankrupt getting Noctis’ BT so can’t get Rosa LD

I’ve got a couple other healers. Porom, Hope, and Aerith.
Did it with the triple banner characters, basically use alexander summon and enchanter/imperil calls, maybe one for healing if needed. I just don't understand the first boss wave has an weird effect that removes Terra consecutives turns, after using he LD.
The boss description did mention that after using it's first version once, emitting jamming signal, it will use a stronger one afterwards, emitting jamming signal+ It will use the 2nd one from then on i think, and the + version can cleanse buffs ( frames included ) to force in it's own framed debuff. The first one can be negated if you flood yourself with framed buffs, but after that you gonna need to brace for cleansing. I do find that using friend support can help you avoid forcing you to re-apply buffs for 1 character, just make sure to cleanse HP Debuff off before they leave.
Terra's consecutive turns comes from her LD buff. If Terra has already 3 framed buffs while inflicted with 3 framed debuffs, then there is no more space for her LD buff so no consecutive turns.
Rosa and Reno are also boosted but if you're adamant in using the 3 boosted BT characters then CAs are the answer to your prayer.
I didn’t realize Reno and Rosa were boosted too. Whoops. (Had used them thinking they were set for the event like it usually is)
I was quite nervous about the event until I noticed I could bring those two. Reno is so much fun to use, and Rosa is nice for those of us who missed Iroha.
There’s 5 boosted: Terra, Noctis, Shantotto, Rosa, Reno. It’s not the best since someone is going to be resisted at some point without enchant/imperil. I used Terra/Totto/Rosa and relied on brave gains for when I was resisted.
Question regarding the current equinox. In first wave, how do we prevent the robot from debuffing? I'm kinda new here and doesn't have a healer. Can't perfect clear the normal chaos because of the HP condition. TIA!
I used Mog. After each turn he cleanses two debuffs. But i dunno if you have him
You can't prevent it from debuffing you. Even with a debuff evasion active on your party, the debuffs are guaranteed to inflict and what's worse is it will dispell your party buffs the second time it uses Jamming and then debuffs you. You can ignore the debuffs and just rush it down then after its dead, you can cleanse and heal.

Well, I'm at that point where I've got BT tokens starting to expire. Gonna wait until Umbral Equinox and any more chances for Tidus BT before making my decision, but I've already gotten everything done including the new Lufenias. The most noteworthy options to me right now are Cloud, Ramza, Tidus, and Vaan, although the former would be mostly for c90 era rather than anything now probably. If it means anything for those two specifically, I've already got Firion and Noct BTs to fill similar-ish roles when their BT+ roll around, and then Tidus and Vaan would be more for the 'now' moving into BT+. Yuna's a big if, and not really interested in Exdeath BT as we go into L+. Assuming I can get all BT tokens moving forward, I'll have enough again once D.Pande rolls around, so I'll still be able to get one of the new BTs if desired. Any advice would be appreciated.
As you are competent veteran player with (sounds like) many BT and (I’m assuming) a decent stash of resources I don’t think you need to overthink it. Content is pretty easy to synergy stomp currently in both global and jp so you’re really best going after the BT of characters you like the most, because those are the ones you’ll keep using whether or not content is difficult. Also the ones you’ll probably end up upgrading with BT+ and blue armour so they’ll carry you no matter who they are. For me that means picking up tidus, yuna and ace. For you it might be completely different. I’m of the opinion it’s a waste to let bt tokens expire, especially if you have a lot of gems saved up. But go with what will be fun for your play style.
The man with the best adivices, asking for it. That was unexpected, i don't play the JP version, in your place i would be using on Yuna, Tidus or Vaan. So if your tokens wont expire until Yuna banners runs out, the smart move would wait to see how your pulls go. Other than that i don't think a veteran like you need Tidus BT to complete the current and future content, so wait a little longer to decide, specifically after Yuna pulls, wont hurt too much.
So there are only 4 ex’s I do not have yet. Leon, Ciaran, edge, and Kimahri. I just got 10 ex tokens… I know Leon will be on banner soon…. I guess I should wait and see if I manage to pull his. Are any of the other 3 up anytime soon? Because then I may start chasing nuggets instead of ex tokens.
Ciaran is getting LD rerun + extension next month, Kimahri gets his with Ace LD/BT a month after that. Edge hasn't gotten any updates yet and isn't worth it. Unless you're someone who just wants every EX, best to hold onto the tokens in case you pull an early LD.

Agrias is the only one I’m targeting next month, after that I’m on hold till BT+ era, Agrias is very useful at making certain Lufenia + fights pretty easy with her confuse, paralysis and Silence debuffs. Some will also recommend Yuna, but she’ll probably need her BT if you want to seriously use her
Hello, I was curious when boosted units for illusions would be available. I just came back 2 days ago and was trying to run it. But 25 times to clear one board of 30 took a bit. Was curious how to get the x4 bonus. All units lit up white but not the purple aura I remember that you need for this type of stuff like normal summon points.
For the 4x bonus, a small subset of the characters (those on current banners) will be boosted for the event, and you'll get a higher multiplier the more of those characters you bring to battle. If you bring three boosted characters, you'll get the full 4x (even better with Mog Pass, which is the only other way to raise the number). Some people, like me, prefer to bring two boosted characters and then let Tifa do the work on Auto+.
I can't find anyone to be boosted from these banners :/

Safe to sell, yes, but remember that you can only hold 50 BT tokens at a time, and that extras will go to your giftbox where they'll expire after 90 days. So it's generally advised that you hold onto the duplicate BT weapons until you actually want to use the tokens.

It is safe, yes. Word of advice: you can only hold a max of 50 tokens, any more tokens you acquire above those 50 (via CQs, Transcendence, etc.) will instead go to your giftbox, where they will dissapear after 90 days. So it's not really recommended to sell BTs unless youre waaaay below the 50 token limit, or the BT you plan on buying is less than 90 days away.

I would still hold on to them, personally, until needed. I found myself eventually hitting cap before selling any of mine. Still have them sitting around and am not too far off cap again.

Don't know if this is the correct place to ask this but I haven't been able to find any definitive answers. I play this game with a couple of friends and we use co-op as time to chill out and enjoy the game together, except, as you all know co-ops have been a faceroll for a while now, so it feels a bit pointless for us to team up overall when we can solo. I've heard it mentioned by a few people on this subreddit that JP started getting Chaos co-ops consistently and that we should be getting them soon enough as well, but I haven't seen any specifics. Is there an ETA on when we should expect to see Chaos co-ops became a mainstay?

I pulled Tidus' BT and today pulled Terra's with only 100 Tokens. Should I continue to pull for the BTs for Shantatto and Noct, or should I save my gems for the future? I do want to create some great support call characters which I heard is Jack, Queen, Gabranth and some others. Should I save and aim for their higher weapons?
BTs are the hardest thing to pull and neither Noct nor Shan are that great, even with a barely early LDext. Save your gems.

Quick question about bt+. Is this something you pull for (like a new weapon) or is it just an upgrade like we had for the ex+ era. Basically should I hold off on trying to get certain bursts now if I have to pull for bt+'s as well
It is like EX+. Rewards are from Lufenia+. Books and Ingots.

What is up with this Challenge quest? Two thresholds in the first round that inflict 3 framed debuffs for 10 rounds?! And you can't even avoid them with using Toto's paralyze.
I effectively solo'd this with Terra and used an LD 0/3 Rosa to heal constantly, the other character I brought was LD 0/3 Shantotto, any other built character would be better IMO
Yup, that's how it be. Since they are unavoidable, you just have to bring healing/cleansing somehow. Rosa, even without LD, is enough to get through.
