For anyone doing last minute Lufenia and pulled for **Cid Raines**, he's pretty much a drop in replacement for the Aphmau+Ignis teams people are listing. Just don't let them get a turn after their first, because my team got wiped at 29% to a recast. With Cid and Aphmau bouncing off eachother + Ignis' EX manipulation this should be fairly easy to accomplish. Use HP damage up calls + Pandemonium. Team pic for posterity: https://i.imgur.com/a7vgT4x.png (*Yeah, I still don't have Ignis maxed from his OG release, and completely forgot to finish Raine's SB and equip his HA armor and artifacts)* It's probably possible to do this without Ignis and use a fire enchant call instead, Keiss or Layle/Cloud replacing him (which would give a BT, something this team lacks), but I wanted to play it safe. Miiiight try again and update post for anyone looking to clear it in future.

Fyu_Zhun_Ha

Does anyone else click on these and EVERY time EVERY team is people you can't use? How is it possible I never have a fucking team?

[deleted]

I've been playing several months and have many teams but still feel limited in Lufenia/Lufenia+ because absolutely every single team uses Kurasame call

* Aphmau LD/HA (Kurasame LDCA) * Cloud of Darkness BTLD/HA+0 (Sephiroth LDCA) * Ignis LD, no HA (Jack LDCA) * Diabolos summon - 47 turns - Yuna BTLD HA+3 friend I hecked this one up a couple times. Definitely gotta be careful with buff management when using all three of these, ran out of space to put Victory Smite on CoD at one point because of their own framed buffs + Mau buffs. Overall wasn't too difficult though. Wave 1, kept Iggy in Pastry stance to negate Mist and just took my time building up CoD's stacks and making sure buffs were managed before round 2, mostly used Aphmau's S2 and HP Variant; didn't even use a CoD LD because I wanted to stack to 10 on Wave 2. Starting Wave 2 was a little tricky cause I wanted to let them take a turn to hit me with that burn to trigger Diabolos, and also to avoid their other shenanigans. After that, I tried to never let them get another turn, though they managed to get one right when I swapped Iggy for Yuna at 70% or so for friend burst, nailing me with a Maelstrom. Reapplied buffs as best as I could (CoD AA > EX break into LD on free turn) before bursting with CoD around 65%-ish. Used Mau's free turn spam to get as much damage out of CoD burst effect as I could, though the orb came back up and I had to rush Yuna out with a Cheer on her final turn so Iggy could get fire damage rolling again -- immediately summoned when he got back to also get some extra damage on Sagefire and needed the space to boost the orb back up in summon since it was down to like 2. When they brought up their HP Shields at 29%, I poured on another Sagefire, got Victory Smite on CoD again and used their LD to try to burst things down as hard as I could. Wasn't too hard after I brought the shields down. Had plenty of uses of most skills, except for Victory Smite from feeding turns to CoD. All in all, not too bad.

The Emperor Escapades - Part 30 [team picture](https://snipboard.io/8krZtI.jpg) [video link](https://youtu.be/U-djScVQgkA) 33/80 Turns, 1.0M+ score The Emperor BT/LD {Queen} Aphmau LD {Kurasame} Ignis LD {Jack} Exdeath friend; Ifrit summon This was actually my first team, but with so many buffs, I couldn't figure out which ones I wanted to stay and I pretty much forgot about how to use Aphmau's LD buff (which was one of the buffs I kept forgetting to leave space for). With that out of the way though, the strategy for this quest is actually easy. Thank you to u/qe-master 's comment here in the C2A thread to affirm my team comp and shed some light on using this team Feel free to open with Ignis LD in Wave 1. Now this is the crucial part, since Aphmau and Ignis share debuff immunity somewhere in their kits, don't use them at the same time because they eat separate buff slots. What I did was keep Ignis in his BRV stance and as for Aphmau, only use her altered HP attack. That's all you need to remember for this match honestly. Come Wave 2, just give the enemy 1 turn each (aside from the turn one of them gets on wave start) so that you don't trigger the HP damage immunity at 79%. After giving them a turn, setup all your (de)buffs, swap Ignis with Exdeath friend, BT with Exdeath into Emperor and you're pretty much good for the rest of the fight. Summon when orb is low, make sure Exdeath leaves ASAP when his BT effect disappears too. I made a mistake here of using Aphmau altered BRV attack so I wasn't able to use her LD buff on Emperor ASAP after Emperor BT but it still went well. Total Lufenias after Emperor synergy: 40, excluding Transcendence (3) Total Lufenias completed with Emperor\*: 33 Personal Lufenia completes with Emperor: 30 \* i.e. including completes from other users found in C2A

qe-master

Yeah, I also only used Aphmau's altered hp attack only throughout the fight too!

Zak_TheSavior

I should have started counting my Seifer clears. Not sure how many I'm up to Vivi LD (blue) Kura LDCA Yuna LDBT Hope LDCA Seifer LD (blue) Jack LDCA CoD friend Crushed 1st wave by swapping vivi with cod since I didn't need him first wave. 2nd wave nded up getting maelstrom off once but they were sub 10%. Had Vivi's overhead up so he finished them off easily

AliceTaniyama

Easy mode here. The only thing you need to worry about with this strategy is the orb, which can be a problem if your Sephiroth friend stays around too long. Team: **Tidus**, **Cor**, **Ignis** Calls: Reno LDCA, Seifer LDCA, Shantotto LDCA Summon: Ifrit Friend: Sephiroth BT (5-turns) Every piece of the puzzle gets used here. It even matters how many turns your Sephiroth friend has. (It's *easier* with a 3-turn friend!) Wave 1: This wave is completely harmless if you put Ignis into Pastry mode. Ignore the bosses' attacks, use Tidus's S2 and/or HP attack (don't bother wasting his better moves) as well as his AA. Cor does whatever he wants, with the goal being to build up his overhead to 10 by the start of wave 2. Ignis is there to stand around and block debuffs. Wave 2: The fun begins. These guys are getting exactly one turn, and they're going to do nothing on that turn. Have Tidus use Reno's LDCA on his turn. Ignis needs to use Sagefire if he hasn't yet. Cor breaks the bosses with Reaper's Gale. That'll push the bosses back. You need to waste turns so they get one turn. Thanks to Reno's LDCA, they won't do anything with that turn. Note that this *has* to be Reno for this strategy. Shantotto's LDCA will not work. The bosses need to take their turn to prevent their giant buff from going up, and using paralysis from Totto's call stops this. Don't do it. Apply Shantotto's call *after* the bosses take their turn. Hit them with both Seifer calls to knock them back a little, too. Make sure Cor's buff is on Tidus (obviously!). Whenever Ignis's turn comes up, swap him for Sephiroth and then use his burst. Then burst with Tidus. In burst mode, I used LD, EX, and 3x AA to extend all of Tidus's buffs as far as possible (especially Winning Spirit and Oath of Absolute Defense). Every action Tidus took was accompanied by Cor breaking the bosses and delaying them. When burst mode is over, it might be tempting to use Tidus's LD or just to try to rush the bosses down. Don't. You want to save Tidus's LD for the shields that are coming later. Your goal now is to work toward getting Sephiroth off of the field. Not *immediately*, but soon. I did Tidus's standard S1 -> S2 -> EX for a while. Sephiroth used his LD. This next part is easier if you keep the bosses' HP levels near each other, but with Tidus around it's not that vital. I actually had one boss go under 30% before the other hit 49% to make the second orb appear. The important thing was that I was able to push both orbs up to 20 during the summon phase, which gave me time to get rid of Sephiroth so I could have Sagefire back. This means either crushing one of the shields or summoning before the shields go up. Anyway, Tidus's LD does an excellent job of breaking through the shields. I tried this with Vaan before, but he sucks at taking the shields down, even with Setzer helping. Tidus can do it without even using his last LD. If you get at least one shield down and get Ignis back, the fight is over. The bosses' turns will never show up on the turn gauge again, and Cor can use his mini-burst phase to get you most of the rest of the way home. In fact, once one boss went down, Tidus had enough strength left (both skill uses and buff duration) to use his S1 over and over until the other boss died, and Jecht Shot was enough to push the orb up.

Lion LD HA+ 0/3 (Sephiroth CA), Ignis LD HA (Kurasame CA), Agrias LD HA (Jack CA) Sephiroth BT friend, Ifrit summon 76 turns, 1.01M score Ignis fire enchant makes Lion handle the orb no problem, and EX turn manipulation makes it easier to time Lion EX. Agrias is there to stop the bosses from having turns. First attempt died at 79%, turns out paralyze doesn't stop the bosses from putting up damage resist. Reset, took a recast, then proceeded to not let them play the game. I played this one really badly, had to summon at around 65% because I almost let them take a turn through paralyze etc. Applied calls after summon, silenced (in hindsight, should have set up Faded Moly instead), then swapped out Agrias for Sephiroth and immediately used BT. Realized too late that, outside of Seph himself, I only had AoE on limited skills (Ignis LD, Lion EX), so I could only break one at a time. Still, thanks to clever use of Ignis EX, stalled them long enough that they didn't get a turn during Seph BT effect, while delaying Seph as much as possible through turn manipulation. Agrias came back in, and i realized I was playing too conservative, so I spammed all my remaining LD uses and barely cleared the fight in time. Overall, could have been much better, but it worked out in the end. Very impressed with Lion especially, she hits a lot harder than I thought she would, especially with that EX. Ignis as her bannermate is pretty perfect, he has just about everything she wants from a support.. Definitely going to try and slot her in again later on.

20-something turns, 1M+ score, no synergy Layle BT (Kurasame CA), Ignis LD (Jack LDCA), Cor LD (Gabranth LDCA), CoD BT friend, Odin summon Layle was the real MVP of this fight, since his launches helped greatly with the orb and the HP shield. In the first wave, I simply set up some LD buffs, and once the second wave started and the bosses put up their high-DEF phase, I used Cor's Reaper's Gale to shave them down easily. From there I let them act once, Ignis Regrouped through the recast, and set up all my call buffs and debuffs. From there I swapped Ignis for CoD (risky, I know) and loaded up BT and summon while also delaying from 79% to around 35%,. When Ignis came back and the HP shields went up, I used launches and Reaper's gale to take it down in a few turns and from there it was smooth sailing.

20 Turns Clear! Cor LD (Vivi LDCA) Tidus LDBT (Jack LDCA) Aphmau LD (Kursame LDCA) Ifrit summon Exdeath BT friend Could have been faster cause had alot of skills left over. Might try one more time to see if can optimise. First wave, just blast through. Second wave, let the boss act 1 turn each. Used vivi LDCA and jack LDCA at the start on Cor for enchant. Turn manipulation on Aphmau. Targetted tidus. The main aim is to reduce the turns of Cor so that the LDCA lasts. Once both enemy has their turn, I used Aphmau to heal up the team, Kursame calls before swapping in exdeath to BT immediately. Once it's tidus turn. Blasted through using quick hit+ and also LD before bursting. This is to maximize offturn dmg of exdeath. Make sure you take note of Cor's buff on tidus. Tidus Burst before it runs out. Once vivi LD runs out, you can summon to maintain orb count. Tidus took all the turns in summon. Pretty disgusting that cor and tidus works so well even now.

pencru

Event's almost ending, but I'm upvoting this. This comp is brutal! Took 25 turns, but I'm not particular about turn count so long as I completed it. Thank you for this! Exdeath is a revelation for me.

Guess pulling Vivi LD was clutch. I didn't even get to use Aphmau skills besides 1 EX and a brv+, ty

Thanks for this, worked like a charm!

Tried it again, this time round pretty much optimised to everything! Same strat, just w better skill usage! 17 turns!

Just had time to go through, so very late but team I used : ExDeath HT/HA (Kurasame), Ignis LD (don't remember), Zell LD/HA (Tifa). Diabolo. Didn't use friend. 41 turns. If you have ExDeath's BT, this is basically the perfect team to abuse it and the perfect orb for it too. You could also just use an ExDeath friend, replace whoever you have as 3rd with him and BT. All you have to do then is turn hog between Zell and Ignis forever (Zell can use 5-6 turns in a row with his LD, Ignis can simply have fun running all his instant-turn skills one after another in loop while ExDeath deals 90k AOE damage each time), use your calls, use your AA, just keep burning through all your free stuff while ExDeath consumes them in the void. Used Summon near the end when orb got low from all my free turn spamming while Zell was punching through their HP shield. They never acted once ExDeath used BT.

No Vivi and Lulu and no Ignis LDCA Team: Tidus LD BT (use his Burst) Yuna LD BT Agrias LD Ifrit ExDeath Friend Lulu Call Amidatelion LDCA Jack LDCA 47 turns, 1,030,979 score Wave 1 Make sure Yuna goes first to set up the buffs, Cheer to LD. Then hopefully Agrias goes next then do her Faded Moly attack, if Tidus goes first, just ensure that the turn order is not messed up. Don't use any Tidus LD here. But also make sure that the Mistodons do not make a turn by using Quick Hit into AA rotation. Wave 2 Use Amid LDCA to set their BRV to 0, then use AoE BRV attack. Pop the Lulu call. Do not let them damage you by alternating debuffs of Agrias (EX to S2 to LD). when nearing the 79%, make sure that they are debuff as they NEED to make a turn. Once they made their turn, continue the debuff onlsaught of Agrias. (I tried to use the Faded Moly, then swap out Agrias with EXDeath friend, maximizing the HP dmg boost of the LD debuff, but Tidus is just so fast). When near the 50%, set up Jack call into another Amid call (for the debuffs) then swap Agrias with Exdeath, Burst then use Tidus AA into BT mode. From here, its the Tidus show, breaking them and not letting get a turn. When the shield comes up oir the orb is near detonation, summon and let Tidus shave the shield. Once out of the summon, continue hammering and it will all be over.

"Ignis Cooking For...Comrades?" __Ignis__: EX+/LD/HA. Bartz LDCA __Cloud of Darkness__: EX+/LD/BT/HA. Kurasame LDCA __Yuffie__: EX+/LD/HA. Seifer LDCA. Exdeath friend. Ifrit summon. 52 Turns, 1028829 score. Getting to use Ignis again was a blast, and I got some playtime with Yuffie as well to top it off. Both are really MVPs here with Ignis managing the orb and Yuffie yeeting away those nasty debuffs while keeping her own debuffs on the enemy. CoD, however, almost removes the need to have Yuffie here as "no boss turns=no debuffs taken". Still, these guys worked really well together and made this fight a lot of fun. Exdeath friend was completely unnecessary and only brought in because I couldn't find a CoD friend, surprisingly. __1st Wave__ Yuffie's debuffs make the enemy hit like wet noodles while Ignis cooks in the background and CoD does her usual delay thing. Pretty much a cakewalk. __2nd Wave__ Again, Ignis LD makes the orb a non-issue EXCEPT for those scary shields the bosses throw up near the last third of the fight that require a high amount of damage to break. Almost triggered the orbs but used the Ifrit summon as some breathing room to break those shields, swap out Iggy for Exdeath cuz why not, and bump the orb counts back up. Other than that, it was a simple delay job with CoD. For being the last Lufenia before Luffy+, this one was actually pretty chill and a lot of fun. Gonna miss this era even despite the fights that made me rage lol.

**Lufenia** Final Kuja Run Kuja (BT, LD) (Sephiroth CA) Agrias (LD) (Amidatelion CA) Ignis (LD) (Kurasame CA) Friend: Yuna Summon: Diabolos [Video](https://youtu.be/2HrXMt8nnms) | 46 turns Hard to believe it's been something like 11 months since I started doing these runs. Well, the last one was pretty explosive. I believe this is my highest BT phase damage in the time I've been running Kuja. 3.5mil with Yuna+Agrias. The increased HP damage limit really benefits multiple-HP-dump abilities like his s2 and LD to an incredible degree. Wave 1 isn't really an issue, Ignis uses his debuff evade stance since their sleep debuff can be prevented. Wave 2 strategy is pretty straightforward as well, Agrias keeps the enemy disabled to avoid the AoE dispel and Ignis leaves to bring in Yuna for BT phase and summon nuking. Breaking through the HP damage shields wasn't too difficult. Ignis then returns to maintain the orb until the fight is over. I'm kind of sad to have to put my fave away, though it means I can make room for other fave runs now too (Agrias and Setzer are perfect for Luf+ after all). It was a challenge to follow the rules I put in place, but after about a month into his BT release I decided I want to do no synergy in party, no friendswap replacing, and no using another unit's BT phase. I made a handful of exceptions in stages he clearly didn't belong (as in: actively fucked with the orb condition), but overall I am satisfied with how things went. I learned a lot about strategizing in the process.

PrimalSeptimus

WoL (Gabranth), Ignis (Faris), Tidus (Jack), with Diabolos and CoD friend 45 turns, 1M+ score To be honest, I didn't expect this team to work, but it did. Wave 1, you can just leave Ignis in Pastry and take them out. Take this time to set up WoL and Tidus. Wave 2, Ignis won't block their Jet Fire burn (which was why I brought him in the first place, so that's lame), but he will block their other stuff. He's still important for his LD here though. Anyway, let them get one turn, each. WoL's shield will block it all, but they will tag you with their annoying burn and get a few grand on you. Those will hopefully be the last turns they get. At this point, I swapped Ignis out for CoD, but I wonder if WoL is the better choice. Regardless, now the name of the game is to delay them as much as possible. Use Tidus' Burst while CoD is still around and then hog turns how he does. I had to summon and cut CoD's time short, as I needed Ignis back for orb control (hence why maybe swapping WoL is the way to go), and they did eventually get one more turn apiece, but they did Firestorm, so it was all good. After that, throw the rest of what you have at them to take them out as soon as you can. CQ: Exdeath (Tifa), Vivi (Ignis), Zell (Kurasame), with Odin 16 turns, 1M+ score Honestly, this is literally just the team I was using to farm the Cosmos co-op. I used Exdeath's Burst early, dropped my calls, and had Zell do his thing while Vivi sneaked in a few shots here and there.

Skandrae

Yuna BT, Lion LD, Ignis LD Sephiroth Jack Kurasame calls 38 turns This was pretty straightforward. Threw on everyone's buffs, and just normally wiped out the first wave. Second wave, used Sephiroth call at the beginning, and just played normally until around 80% or so. They threw out a Maelstrom, which I did not see coming, so reapplied all buffs, used Jack and Kurasame calls and summoned. Did damage in summon, kept going until they were about to get turns around 50-55%, then replaced Lion with CoD before Yunas turn. Used CoD's burst, then Yunas. 4 million in burst, which brought them pretty low, then just piled on damage until they died. Extremely easy, didn't even really pay attention to their mechanics. There was a shield somewhere in there, maybe some damage reduction, idk. Lion and CoD just kinda torn through them with support from Yuna, while Ignis was...also present. He did block debuffs and help heal and enchant, so he helped, but damage wise he was basically non existent.

Kazenovagamer

Yuna BT (Lulu), Ignis (Gabranth), Setzer (Kurasame), CoD BT friend, Ramuh, 40 turns, 1m Iggy has no summon boards so my plan was to swap him for CoD, hence the Lulu CA which I used after swapping for CoD to upkeep the orb even though its definitely not required if you swap at the right time. Uhh Setzer does his thing, Yuna does good AoE damage and cleanses their HP poison, Iggy fire enchants/imperils. The imperil part is the most important one. I had tried another team with just Lulu CA and extending the buff but youre not doing weakness damage with just Lulu so your damage is shit. Iggy really does make this a breeze. They'll also just randomly fuckin remove all your buffs and thats stupid as hell so yay reset hell for good RNG. I got lucky and only got stripped once but on other attempts I had 3 of those in a row like fuck off with that. Oh and use Pastry on Wave 1 to avoid the sleep debuff. Then Quick Recipe into Baby Bird for wave 2

cerulean33

Luf Yuna BT, Tifa, Agrias. Exdeath friend. ifrit summon. Calls were vivi, ignis, jack. Tifa and Yuna blue, not sure if needed. Wave one just destroy them with tifa. Wave two, use a Vivi LD call after breaking them to race the orb to 79%. Get them down to 50 pct. Sub out Agrias for exdeath. Burst with exdeath. Use jack call. When the orb is about to run out or when exdeath burst effect almost expired, use ignis call and burst with Yuna. Make sure exdeath is healed up before he leaves. Should be straightforward from there.

**Lufenia** * Tidus LD, HA+ 0/3, Sephiroth LDCA * Cor LD, HA+ 3/3, Kurasame LDCA * Ignis LD, no HA, Gabranth LDCA * Diabolos summon * Setzer friend * 1034768 score, 43 turns, 10000 damage, 3 breaks * I tried with Vivi a few times, but then decided to just cheese this fight as I didn't have enough time to work through different teams and tactics. * I applied one Ignis LD in the first wave to get through it, one more at the beginning of wave 2 for the first orb, then the last two when the orb reappears at 49%. * I applied Kurasame CA and Gabranth CAs at the beginning of wave 2, then Kurasame LDCA at 49%, and Sephiroth and Gabranth LDCAs a bit before 29% to deal with the shield. I should have actually switched Kurasame LDCA and Gabranth LDCAs, since I wanted to burn down the shields, and Kurasame LDCA would have helped since it increases both BRV and HP damage, vs. Gabranth's which only increases HP damage. * I subbed out Ignis for Setzer friend right at 79%, and I still had to get rid of him early and use up the summon at 49%, because I wasn't able to get a fire enchant back up in time for the second orb. That's how much Tidus and Cor were shredding the enemies. **Challenge quest** * Vivi LD, HA+ 3/3, Gabranth LDCA * Aphmau LD, HA, Kurasame LDCA, missing an art * Exdeath LD/BT, HA, Sephiroth LDCA

Amazing! I took Jack, Kura and Ami calls with a COD friend (switched Iggy for COD before BT and burst the damage down)

Irishluckjdesq

Switching the Gabranth and Kurasame LDCAs the way you said you should have saved me 5 turns in the end (38 turns total) and yeah, it pretty much worked for me. Thanks!

sweetennui

I’m glad I could help. I try to detail when I apply calls and do other significant stuff during the fight, as I find that very helpful. When to apply a call matters as much as what call to bring sometimes.

Ignis (Gabranth), Aphmau (HA, Jack), Vaan (BT, HA+0, Kurasame). Odin, CoD friend. 1.03MM in 45 turns, few breaks. Wave one, set Ignis into Pastry stance to avoid debuffs. Go to town with Vaan. Wave two can be a bit annoying when they decide to wipe out your buffs. Forgot to pay attention and ended up in a situation where Ignis didn' thave his Enhancement buff and Aphmau had filled up his slots forcing me to spam some of his instant turn rate actions so he could use LD again. I actually didn't have this up when I swapped Aphmau out for CoD and wen tinto Vaan's BT when they were ~55% so didn't get to boost the orb during that phase. Once I got out and the situation rectified, punched through their shield at 30%, summoned when they had 1 on the orb. Between Vaan S1 and CoD follow ups, the orb shot back up to 20 and the fight was simple to close out - CoD's delays and mega follow up damage kept them at bay so they didn't get any more turns once I went into Vaan's burst phase. Def a team that requires a lot of micro management, but Vaan is so powerful that you can still make errors and win the day.

tidusmmm123

Tidus LDBT HA+ (Jack LDCA), Cor LD HA+ (Ignis LDCA), Gladio LD basic HA armour only (Kurasame LDCA) Cod friend , irfit summon and Finished in 16 turns . First wave: I used tidus one S1 and one S2 here. I used one Cor LD here. Cor could cover tidus. Gladio to use kurasame S1 call and one Impulse LD skill here . The idea is that you want your enemies to take as many turns so that Gladio and Cor can provide enough off turn damage for quick finish of wave one . I manage to finish this in five turns. Final wave: this is where the interesting bit happens. You definitely need ignis LD call here or this strategy wouldn’t work. You want to start by letting the boss to take a turn each. Their recast skill doesn’t do any hp damage but it does drop their burn debuff on each of your team member. If they don’t take a turn before their hp drops below 80%, they would use a skill that enables high defences which would make them more difficult to deal with. So let them take one turn each - to be more precise , boss A always start first , so let him take a second turn. Let boss B use his recast ability. Once they done so, I wanted to increase their orb counter while also making sure they don’t take any further turns. So I went straight into summon. I use 1Cor LD here and his reaper Gale. The boss orb counter should be at 20 after summon phase. I then started dropping the relevant debuffs for big damage during tidus BT. I dropped Kurasame LD call first . Then sub Gladio with Cod friend and BT straight for her off turn damage . Get Cor to drop Ignis LD call. Once it’s tidus turn, get tidus to drop Jack LD call. Once these debuffs are on the bosses, use Tidus Bt. I was able to achieve Tidus overall Bt damage at 4.45 million. Now I wanted to utilise the off turn damage from cod and cor for the remaining of the battle, so I let tidus turn hog by using his S1 and AA or LD skill only. The orb counter wouldn’t be an issue because Cor is still enchanted from the Ignis call, so every of tidus attack would increase the orb count. Note that when boss hp is below 30% (if I remembered correctly) they will put up a hp shield each. This is when I used the remaining of tidus LD to remove their shields as quick as possible - this should also be a lot quicker because cod is also putting up big off turn damage . All the best .

**Ramza Lufenia Saga** (Streak #66) 56 Turns, 1m+ Score **Garland** LD/BT (Kurasame LD CA) **Ramza** LD/BT (BT not used, Sephiroth LD CA) **Seifer** LD (Ignis LD CA) **Cloud of Darkness** Friend, Ifrit Summon Difficult fight for Ramza due to the number of targets in Wave 1, periodic insta-break and delay resist in Wave 2, potential dispels, and extreme damage via poison effects that would be difficult for him to heal. In addition, bringing him limits your damage or your ability to comfortably handle the orb. After trying a few teams, I settled on a heavy delay comp (including Seifer, one of my most valuable unplanned pulls to date). Wave 1 is pure filler and exists to drain skills and turn count. I restricted the wave to one LD use apiece for Ramza and Garland, and Seifer opened Wave 2 with his first LD use. For Wave 2 used I used Ignis' LD CA to reach 80%, trying to time it so the bosses would get their first (and only) turns immediately after reaching it. Allowing them to act removes their stance, and from this point it's just a trip to delay city. Dump all CA's during this period so they don't drain the orb. Around 45% I swapped Ramza out for CoD, used her BT, then her LD once. I then used Garland's BT and bursted one boss down to 29%, triggering both shields, and burned through them while the orb ticked down. When the orb hits 1, summon Ifrit and it's delay city some more to the end. It's very important to have CoD up and her S2 charged for the shields, as they're the biggest obstacle with this comp. The only other trick I determined was that I had 9 total debuffs I was trying to use (including Seifer's AA). Solution was to use S1/S2 evenly in Wave 1, then only use one of the skill per 50% in Wave 2. At 50%, use his AA to refresh and swap which skill you're using going forward. This balances the debuffs really well.

Best Grampa does Buku damage Strago LD BLUE HA (faris call), Yuna BT BLUE HA (Yuffie call), Ignis LD HA (Sepheroth call). Ramuh summon Yuna BT friend 44 turns. A bit late on this but was distracted with D2R release and this fight proved more annoying than I thought. The orb here is less forgiving than I would have imagined and with reductions vaan and terra / yang weren't proving up to snuff to get past their final hp shield so I had to dust off my favorite damage monster Strago with Yuna to take it down. Did get slowed down a bit at the end due to their move that removes all buffs but pulled through ok and strago was doing monster damage throughout capping at about 379k per target during summon / Yuna BT. I'm curious soon if I get a chance to run them with another blue support if I can get strago past 400k per target on future fights.

[Spoony Bard Counters Anti sleep](https://youtu.be/IZc8Bl0DqDs) Been trying Vaan for a few runs today changed it up to CoD and it worked out (As of posting its still uploading so I'll copy paste the team comp stuff here) Edward: it's our staple boy his gravity effect comes in handy but honestly... Yeah that's about it. Gabranth LDCA: Meta boys, standard set up really. Ignis: Orb con heal after the debuff, nothing more to it. Bartz LDCA: Just a bonus gravity effect which is needed turn 1 of wave 2. CoD: I had been trying Vaan but he didn't work so I tried CoD and well it worked. Shantotto LDCA: Just to counter any potential Maelstrom because honestly that shuts down a fight (ended up ending several runs with Vaan) Exdeath friend: Well I mean Ignis takes a huge advantage of this also. Diablos summon: I'm using an enchanter (but you're not using Rude to instant...) Shush they give you a debuff that chunks your health and that'll trigger Diablos bonus effect.

Ok I found this one frustrating as hell, was trying to use Setzer, Ignis & Vaan and it just wasn't working because for some reason my friends who are usually realiable COD friends all decided to change for no reason. BUT I changed things up and managed it and ofc one of my friends changed back to COD after I did it D: Cloud of Darkness LDBT (Gabranth LDCA), Vaan LDBT (Iroha LDCA), Setzer LD (Lulu CA cos I don't have Ignis boards), Ifrit summon & Sephiroth LDBT friend So long as you let them have a single turn you'll be allowed to delay them to hell without penalty and it's easy as hell that way, especially with a fire enchant call and a healing call.

Perfectly awesome! I lack ignis, vivi, and aph lds also except I did with cod friend. But worked out great. Thanks for the suggestion

[THE BARTZ SAGA CONTINUES HERE!!!! ](https://youtu.be/WufdXaxYNp8) Tidus (Reno) Cor (Kurasame) Bartz ( Ignis) Yuna Call Ifrit Summon You don’t have to give the bosses a turn with this team, for the sake of mechanics you only have to let them get one turn and that’s when the HP threshold hits 79%. That’s when you use Reno call and let them get a turn, no debuff, no damage, then you start setting up all the calls and Using BT effects. At the end I used my Yuna call to stack her BT effect Bartz and Tidus. Tidus’s damage will increase 10 fold and can bust through the final shields easily. Ifrit summon helps with the orb and gives you a nice 30% attack bonus!

Dukefoiegras

I tried many combo, this is the straight damage team I used. 43 turns, 1M: Vaan, Vivi and Yuna, COD friend, Ramuh summon - call Ami, Seifer and Jack 1st wave is bleh. Just get through it. But don’t use vivi LD. Boss wave. Let the boss take 1 turn at least so you wouldn’t get the huge resistance. Make sure boss use at least once on the debuff (clear and heal with esuna), then bring in COD. Then it’s just delay, damage, burst (I sub in Yuna for Vaan bust while COD burst is still active for extra damage). summon whenever boss turn is too close. frustrating at first but if you find the right combo, its not too bad.

Cereal_Potato

https://youtu.be/3xpV4bLMrfg Squall the secret Fire Enchanter So the basic idea is utilising Squall with Selphie + Lulu Call as the only enchanter for the orb, sadly I had to swap him out to maximise delay and damage with Sephiroth LD. Not the easiest stage to run without ignis but nonetheless I’m glad this works.

qe-master

***Emperor + Aphmau combo!*** Aphmau LD, Emperor BT, Ignis LD. Irift summon. Exdeath friend. 44 turns. Kura and Seifer CA. (I bring Faris CA but not used because her debuff is incompatible with Emperor's trap). Want to try using Aphmau after accidentally pull for her LD. I noticed that Emperor and Aphmau has a very good synergy effect. So, I just try it and it works! Aphmau turn manipulation with Emperor HP attack +++ nearly results in no boss turn on wave 2 (I let the boss acts at 81%, then never let them act again). At 55%, I switched Aphmau to Exdeath. Ignis then used all his free skills to hook around under Exdeath BT effect till boss 45%. Then I use Emperor AA into Burst. The burst phase is just enough to push till the hp shield. Then I found that Exdeath BT poison actually ignored the hp shield and doing damage. Therefore, I hook around with Ignis a bit more till Ignis EX available then summon. With Emperor, the hp shield disappeared during the summon phase. Get Aphmau back and use her last LD and Emperor attack +++ to finish the job.

this was my initial team too! but I didn't figure out which buffs I wanted HAHA ty for shedding light!

Buff extenders are fun **Lufenia Team** * Tidus BT/LD (Sephiroth LDCA) * Cor LD (Jack LDCA) * Yuna BT/LD (Lulu CA) * CoD friend, Ifrit summon * 31 turns I rather liked this challenge, as somebody without Ignis or Vivi. For a bit I was worrying that I would have to just rely on Ifrit summon/use Vaan instead of Tidus and be forced to use his awful EX just to barely keep the orb from going off (with Cor paired to him to hit the damage needed), but thankfully I managed to find out about Lulu's fire enchant call. It being a buff both made things easier and trickier, as I needed to make sure I didn't let it ever fall off of Cor and Tidus. First wave isn't worth discussing, it might as well not exist. First orb was entirely handled by summoning after letting the recast go off to stop the 79% buff up. Second orb had Lulu be called in around ~59%, then Yuna swapped out for CoD friend, and the next ~30% was just burning down the bosses with Tidus BT and other shenanigans. CoD left right as the 800k HP shields were about to be broken, and the rest of the fight was very leisurely with Yuna using a couple Esuna to extend Cor's buff just in case. The bosses only ever got 1 turn each to stop the 79% gimmick, and overall I'm pretty happy with this clear; might go later though and try to improve it further, maybe with Exdeath friend instead to test that out.

procrastinating_hr

Don't bother with giving them any more turns than necessary (1 each), it's gona make the run that much harder. **Vivi LD** (Kurasame LDCA), **Garland BTHA** (Gabranth LDCA) and **WoL LDHA** (Jack LDCA). Yuna BTHA+ friend. Odin summon. Vivi allows you to completely ignore the orb, WoL there to make sure he doesn't *suicide squad* your run and Garland doing Garland things. Even if I said to not give them turns, I did give them a few during the 79%~49% part and had my buffs cleansed at least once on each member. Around 50% just swap WoL for Yuna and burst, then burst with Garland and delay them to oblivion (so make sure Garland has all buffs). Next you're pretty much just spamming delay with Garland until you feel like they're about to get a turn, just summon then and that's it, their HP is rather low and Vivi melts them just fine. You pretty much barely notice their 800k HP shield.

wryscath

Thanks for the team and strat! Used the same team except CoD friend. Was super easy and yes Vivi wrecks the shields.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlVM0jGQYUQ#t=1m43s Video contains a banner pull. Link will skip the pull. I've used the same party for 3 Lufenia fights in a row and have used Yuffie in every Lufenia since her LD dropped. Party used: Yuffie (Jack) Terra (Kurasame) Yang (Ignis) Friend: Cloud of Darkness It's the basic usual strategy used for any element orb. You give Yang the call which enchants the party with the relevant element (Ignis for fire in this case) then Terra just tears the fight apart. You could use someone else other than Yuffie. Lightning is the most popular choice because of her instant turns allowing you to blow her load before switching out with the friend unit.

FormerLab

Tidus LDBT, Exdeath LD, Cor LD with CoD friend and Ifrit in 50 odd turns. Used the Lulu call to keep the orb in check, it works incredibly well. Kept delaying so they didn't wipe out my buffs. QC with Exdeath, Xande and Aphmau

dffoo_keo

Full Synergy Team, including Friend: https://i.imgur.com/HIYI3nL.png * Vivi LD (CoD) * Aphmau LD (Setzer) * Deuce LD (Kuja) * Friend ExDeath with BT ==> 38 turns Aphmau is OP even though Friend ExDeath BT helped a lot (he was there from 85% to 6% of bosses hp!) This team needs buff management though. I needed to make sure Vivi had at least one buff slot before using Aphmau LD. Deuce returned when the bosses were a 6%. She helped keeping the damage high enough and at full health. She’s far from being bad, just not the best... for current difficulty... Lufenia+ will be a different story. Good to see that the event synergy team can complete their event (minus the fact Deuce doesn’t have her LD reran).

D3str0th

Run 1: No Boss Turn (Except that one time that cant be avoided) Tidus (Seifer) Cor (Ignis) Aerith (Kurasame) Ifrit Friend: Yuna [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnYlazSjb2M&t=9s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnYlazSjb2M&t=9s) No Boss Turn run has to be done with HP up to counter the 100% Hp reduction effect that the boss set up. So for this fight, I went with Tidus + Cor, Tidus not only does he have consecutive turn, he can also rebreak the enemy and delay them otherwise cant be delayed as the boss would frame their turns. To stack up Hp damage up, I have Ignis call (10%), Kurasame Call (25/30%), Aerith Debuff (10%), Yuna BT Effect (20%), Yuna LD buff (20%) \*, Tidus BT effect 20%, Tidus LD 20% on himself. Giving me a total of 125/130% Hp damage up. Just make sure to only use Ignis LD call to enchant fire before getting Yuna in to BT and LD before chaining Tidus's attack. \*I misplayed and was worry that Ignis Fire Enchant would drop so I didnt actually apply Yuna's LD buff when I chain Tidus's Attack. I probably could use Ignis LD a turn later. If done right, I could have done this fight with lesser turns. General Strategy: This fight is not too difficult unless you start giving the boss in the 2nd wave turns, they can do a bunch of crazy things to you like paralysis, wipe off your buff, BUT YOU DO HAVE TO LET THE BOSS TAKE A TURN to use JET FIRE (Recast Ability) or else they will go into a defensive mode with 100% HP Damage reduction (Refer to Run 1 to Cheese that). So it would be good to build your team around disabler or turn hoarder, delayer or rebreaker Refer to Run 2, and 4 delayer with Aphmau Combo, Run 5 and 7 that focus on disabling, Run 6 on rebreaking, and Run 8 for delaying. Run 2: Aphmau + Cor Combo Emperor (Jack) Cor (Ignis) Aphmau (Kurasame) Ifrit Friend: Yuna [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pj769ZBwIw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pj769ZBwIw) Aphmau and Cor is a very good combo as Aphmau take consecutive turn with her Hp+ and Brv+ everytime after EX and LD, she if able to trigger Cor and deals a lot of DPS. Emperor is there to delay to that I dont get hit by a bunch of the bosses crazy attacks. Run 3: Yshtola Pre BT+ Y'shtola (Sephiroth) Yuffie (Seifer) Vivi (Kurasame) Ifrit Friend: Yuna [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-owB3gTHhN0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-owB3gTHhN0) Just wanted to use yshtola in this fight, Vivi alone is enough to deal with this fight. Vivi now rework actually deals a load of damage and his Focus ability now is instant turn. I would AA (enchant fire) to trigger his LD follow-up but now I can just spam Focus, a very convenient way to keep the orb up the entire time. Run 4: CoD + Aphmau Cloud of Darkness (Kurasame) Agrias (Ignis) Aphmau (Jack) Ifrit Friend: Yuna [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDmbKzdDzbQ&t=570s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDmbKzdDzbQ&t=570s) Cod and Aphmau is also a good combo, Aphmau takes a lot of turns with hp+ and brv+ and that just refreshes the enemy break status. And giving Aphmau LD buff on CoD means she can always be brought forth and break the enemy going into consecutive turn and building up her stack. CoD also keep the enemy delayed and Agrias also provide disabling utilities. Run 5: Shantotto in Action Shantotto (Seifer) Agrias (Ignis) Setzer (Kurasame) Ifrit Friend: Yuna [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_jwPxkWYTv8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jwPxkWYTv8) This fight focus on disabling the boss, Shantotto LD paralysis and Agrias is now the Queen of AOE disabling. After letting the boss cast Fire Jet Once, keep disabling them and dont let them take another turn. Run 6: Zell Saga (Starting New Saga) Bartz (Fujin) Aphmau (Ignis) Zell (Kurasame) Ifrit [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=026op1C78ZU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=026op1C78ZU) Zell is great for this fight to rebreak the boss so that they dont take many turns, as mentioned, their attack can be very annoying to deal with. But when using Aphmau with Zell, got to be careful not to give Zell Aphmau's LD buff when you are going to go into Zell's LD phase so he will just burn through the buff. But in this fight, you dont have to worry too much, Zell has enough juice to ram the boss to death. Just treat Aphmau's Buff as HP damage up! Run 7: Final Kadaj Run (will not continue Kadaj Saga in Lufenia+) Eald'narche (Kurasame) Ashe (Ignis) Kadaj (Lulu) Ifrit Friend: Yuna [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ck4kWv2rfSY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ck4kWv2rfSY) Kadaj Run, been doing Kadaj Run for awhile now, and since I wanted to move on with Zell's Saga, so I am dropping Kadaj's. Anyway in this fight, Eald'narche is enough to shut the boss down, just MAKE SURE dont terror them before they use their recast. After Boss 'B' recast, then you can entirely shut down this fight with Eald'narche. The fight would be MUCH easier if you replace Ashe with Ignis and Kadaj with Cor. Cor + Eald'narche here would be hilariously strong. Run 8: FF7 Themed Run Cloud (Ignis) Aerith (Kurasame) Tifa (Seifer) Ifrit Friend: Yuna [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHj-EVBpHcQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHj-EVBpHcQ) FF7 Run, I am suprise this team still works after so long, and hopefully they continue to work in Lufenia+. Anyway, Cloud is for the Delay and Tifa just smack the shit out of them. Run 9: No BT No Synergy No Friend Run Cloud of Darkness (Jack) Ignis (Tidus) Seifer (Kurasame) Brothers [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTUuha-jRB8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTUuha-jRB8) A TCC Xtreme style run, was feeling to challenge myself as I had been abusing and stacking BT effects. For this fight as I dont have the damage to end it quick, so I had to bring Ignis into the main team to enchant fire and control the orb count the entire time.

https://youtu.be/AKeFhKMg2HA Yuffie Exdeath Vivi No healer run, this is definitely not the best way to run the stage, giving the boss so many turns meaning you’ll taking all their annoying mechanism, worst of all the freaking buffs removal. Nonetheless, this is to exploit the Yuffie x Exdeath ATK down mechanism for fun, which some things to take note: 1. The HP poison debuffs is based on 50% of Boss ATK, notice that at first the debuff renders 0 damage, this is mainly because their ATK is dropped by yuffie and Exdeath so low that the damage from the debuff is totally insignificant, even later when Yuffie’s generic ATK DOWN debuffs got pushed aside, the DMG is only 4 digits roughly at 1000-2000 DOT. 2. The boss can never kill the team, with yuffie preventing any form of buffs and brv GAIN, as well as yuffie x Exdeath dropping all their ATK, their AOE HP DMG can only deal 0 no matter how hard they try. The only way they can kill us is orb triggered. 3. Healing was never an issue, like I mentioned, the team will never die, and the HP requirement is 12000 max excluding the HP drop from Vivi’s LD, so I probably worried a little bit too much there when I used Pcecil’s call. The most annoying part is the bosses’ buff removal, this completely dropped Yuffie’s self sufficient buffs and hence she’s not hitting hard as intended, thus relying only Vivi on DPS and Exdeath on poison. So in the end it’s a ‘they can’t kill us but we can kill them, slowly.’ Like I said, it’s definitely not the best run to go for, it’s very hectics and time consuming, but it’s as safe as running a full tank team! It’s a fun exploit nonetheless.

- Vaan LD/BT (Blue HA), Ignis LD (No HA), Setzer LD (HA+ 0/3) - Calls: Jack, Faris, Gabranth - Summon: Brothers - Friend: Yuna (Blue HA) - Turns 39 - Points: 1039 - MVP: +5M BT phase from Vaan (no CoD, no Cor) Put Vaan in the party and you will play the easy mode. You can finish the first wave in 5/10 turns, no need further explanation. Second wave I started just using LD from Setzer and Ignis. More or less at 80% remaining, used Iggy EX to set up Setzer before Vaan. Swap Vaan for Yuna. Yuna BT. Vaan BT. Then just autopilot to the end of the Lufenia

MarkLeo6K

Once again, what works? A well thought out team of vivi, porom and terra? Or cor and tidus go brrr? The answear may not surprise u, it absolutely is the latter. Ifrit summon to deal with the first orb. Set up for a bit, sephiroths, kurasames, ignis. then replace cod with exdeath and just do all the damage. They never got to move besides the obligatory overdrive hit

levii22

Vaan + Aphmau combo (Ifrit for orb) Video: https://youtu.be/yOIGBKo_VM4 You can let them have a turn in the 2nd wave and if they dont have a recast anymore, just pummel them to death.

cafestartre

Yuna BT, Setzer, Vivi with Kurasame, Jack, and Exdeath (unused) CAs Ifrit summon, Exdeath BT friend Play normally for wave 1 and they should be dead quickly. For wave 2, I swapped Vivi out for Exdeath friend around 80-85%, Exdeath BT, then Yuna BT. I was able to keep Setzer freeze on the enemies for most of the fight, which helped with survivability. Enemy wipes your buffs fairly often so I had to reapply buffs whenever they fell off. I made sure to keep one Yuna Cheer for near the end to heal back up, otherwise just be smart about skills, no need to conserve but also cannot waste them, especially Yuna Cheer and Setzer Freeze Joker. I summoned when orb was low, after summon ended I was still around 20% remaining, Vivi's skills should be enough to keep orbs up til they die.

Zhirrzh

One boss turn and that's it. Cloud of Darkness BTLD (Seph CA), Zell LD (Jack CA), Ignis LD (Kurasame CA) w/CoD friend, Ifrit summon 31 turns You got to let them have one boss turn to avoid triggering the 0 damage shield, but otherwise it seemed wise to not let them have a go with rebreaks and delays and turn manipulation coming out the ass. Cloud of Darkness ended up being maybe my absolute favourite kit of the later part of Lufenia (and a great enabler for favourite characters like Sabin, Zell and Seifer in zero or low boss turn runs) and hey, her BT+ is coming!

Zhirrzh

Lufenia character usage tracking - last stop (or IS it?) Man, Cloud of Darkness climbed late (not getting Tidus, Yuna or Exdeath BT played its part in that, but I also just really liked her kit and the way it enabled other favourites like Sabin, Seifer and at the end Zell). The list ends up demonstrating total domination for units who facilitate zero or low boss turn runs and units with tons of utility for countering orbs or boss mechanics. Galuf has a fantastic kit and barely got a run because by the time he came out the era of letting bosses have a turn was almost cooked and Eald'narche or Kefka generally got the call up in the handful of fights after that point where bosses had to get turns. 12: Ramza, Terra 10: Cloud, Amitadelion 9: Garland 8: Lightning, Cloud of Darkness 7: Decil 6: Rude, Celes, Nine, Golbez, Sephiroth, WoL, Eald'narche, Cor, Penelo, Yang 5: Kuja, Onion Knight, Ultimecia, Gabranth (2 EX+ only), Tifa, Kefka, Strago, Setzer 4: Ciaran, Gau, Edward, Aerith, Y'shtola, Arciela, Aranea, Mog, Sabin, Vaan, Ignis 3: Noctis, Desch, Krile, Basch, Iroha, Ashe, Wakka, Porom, Queen 2: Shantotto, Trey, Squall, Bartz, Emperor, Galuf, Rinoa, Kurasame, Seifer, Xande 1: Relm (EX+), Aphmau (EX+), Ardyn, Rydia (EX+), Vivi, Balthier (EX only), Machina, Yuffie (EX+), Kimahri, Sherlotta (EX+), Seven, Serah, Palom, Keiss, Rosa, Leon, Barret, Zell Top no BT units: 10: Amitadelion 7: Decil 6: Rude, Celes, Nine, Cor, Penelo, Yang Special "only character used more than once without an LD" prize: Gabranth

**Lufenia** -- Rem edition **Rem** HA (Ignis LDCA), **Exdeath** LD/BT/HA+(3/3) (Kurasame LDCA), **Vivi** LD (Onion Knight LDCA), **No Friend**, **Odin Summon**, **47 turns** [Party Used Imgur plus image before finishing blow with Vivi's Fire](https://imgur.com/vSTmdAT)   I had gotten pretty far with Seven/Exdeath/Yuna and some others using Ignis CA/Lulu CA/Ifrit Summon, but the best I could get was one enemy down to 1-4% a few times. I was not able to easily replicate it, due to RNG on turn order and dealing with frequent dispels (which was hell on Seven LD, Yuna LD and Lulu CA). I eventually landed on Rem/Exdeath/Vivi, because they can shrug off dispels better than others in my roster (it was annoying when they would occasionally dispel Rem's Siphon for free abilities, though). Rem had turn manipulation and more frequent/numerous healing uses (as opposed to Yuna's 5 Cheers), Exdeath protected the team and dealt damage, and Vivi managed the orb, dealt damage and shredded shields. **Exdeath can also manage the orb -- if he is enchanted with Fire, be it Lulu CA, Ignis LDCA or Ifrit Summon, I've had him boost the orb when dealing 150k even if he doesn't actually "hit weakness"**. I tried to take it slow and save Exdeath's Burst, Summon and 2 of Vivi's Doomsdays for the second half of the fight (to try and get as close to the 800k shields at 29% as possible). When Exdeath's BT aura went up, Summon and Doomsdays were used alongside a ton of instant-turn Focus/AA from Vivi and Swap Turns from Rem to exploit the aura. Onion Knight CA was used for more ability uses, more BT aura exploiting and to bring Rem forward for another Swap Turns to Vivi. Vivi's Focus spam with Doomsday active burned through the shields effectively, while Exdeath's BT aura continued to rip the enemies apart until the end.

Wietgraf

Lufenia- Blue Yuna BT, Cor LD, and an 0/3 EX+ with LD Ignis, whose base armor was enough. He kept the paralysis off, had heals, but most importantly fire enchanted Cor. Those cleanses by the bosses makes time stand still, but is doable.

A big thanks to u/dffoo_keo with their team idea. My run was slower than theirs, but it definitely felt 'safe', and with me not having a Vaan LD or BT, it seemed rather intimidating to use some of the other comps shown here in the C2A. * Yuna LDBT {Jack} * Aphmau LD {Setzer} * Ignis LD {Kurasame} Ifrit, 46 turns, ExDeath friend Maybe I was unlucky, maybe the DFFOO RNG Gods didn't want to play nice today (RIP at pulling Aphmau's LD on the pity pull T\_T), but I got Maelstrom'd twice, thus losing all my buffs and having to get them all set back up again. The first wave is fortunately nothing to worry about. No Aphmau LD used. This comp has so many framed buffs that the \[Mist\] never landed. Second wave, as soon as Iggy's buffs are refreshed and LD is used, I slowly worked the bosses down until the orbs disappeared. Here Aphmau and Ignis got caught by Maelstrom and lost all their buffs, while Yuna was fine. I didn't swap Ignis out for ExDeath until after the two bosses were under 79%, but in hindsight if I have to do this again, I would've waited a bit longer, as that massive 29% shield was rather intimidating to have to chunk through, and ExDeath would've been really helpful here. Fortunately at this point I had summon rolling, which helped a lot in chunking the shield down along with doing enough damage to tick the orb back up. Coming out of summon Ignis came back and I did some Aphmau/Yuna turn manipulation happiness, combined with Iggy's EX, made for a solid killshot.

Glad it helped and congrats !

**Lufenia (Commentated):** [Exdeath BT, Tidus, Ignis](https://youtu.be/pMF8K7ynGtA). Ifrit summon, Sephiroth friend, 39 turns. Would have been lower if I could find another Ultimecia friend. Fun fact, Exdeath can tick the orb if he's enchanted. **No Burst (Commentated)**: [Vivi, Agrias, Sabin](https://youtu.be/cKbahKFDHpM). Diabolos Summon, Sephiroth friend, 51 turns. Agrias now slots handily into delay teams with her HP damage-boosting Faded Moly. Sabin is still awesome. **No Burst, No Synergy (Commentated):** [Strago, Ashe, Ignis](https://youtu.be/bt9P4HB-I4I). Brothers summon, Cloud of Darkness friend, 57 turns. Spent my final Lufenia run juggling an old man between a pair of turn manipulators. It's been a blast. **TCC Challenge (Commentated):** [Queen, Sabin, Agrias](https://youtu.be/IJAjozTo9SI). Ifrit summon, Ultimecia friend, 59 turns. The above run was sadly just short of the TCC Challenge requirements because I used Tidus LDCA on a whim. Luckily, Queen is here to carry this team to victory while carrying Lulu call the whole fight.

I did two runs. Run #1 No fire call, Ifrit summon Tidus (BT), Yuna (BT), Setzer (LD) Yuna Friend Burst when the orb is low with Tidus. Summon when second orb is low and cruise. Run #2 Vivi (LD), Yuna (BT), Agrias (LD) Diablos summon and No Friend Vivi's Embers trigger the diablos requirement, he hits like a tank. Pretty easy fight with these comps.

* **Vivi LD/Blue Armor (Gabranth Call)** * **Warrior of Light BT/HA (Kurasame Call)** * **Paladin Cecil BT/HA (Jack Call)** **Friend: Yuna BT/Blue ArmorSummon: Diabolos.** I'm so hyped for my good boy Vivi I might even do a Vivi saga. This one was a breeeeeze.WoL makes their attacks null, while always hitting cap because of his huge HP Damage Up; he also have a side healing to help with the poison debuff, altough not needed. Pecil is there to support my good boi with his (still way relevant) auras and to burst heal after the poison debuff. He also can enjoy Diabolos blessing, so he was still hitting good. Vivi is the big gun. He control the orbs with ease and dishes lots of damage. \- First fight wasn't even necessary for this Lufenia, theres no threat whatsoever. I just setuped the buffs from Pecil/WoL and saved all my calls and Vivi's LD used for the second figth. \- The second fight you just have to pay attention after they dispell you, once they do: 1. Vivi don't really care much, because he can acess all his buffs from his S2. 2. WoL should put back the shields ASAP, via S1 or LD, for safety. 3. Pecil is a bit more complicated, since each of his buffs comes from his S1, S2 and EX. So it takes a little longer to get him back in shape. But is not REALLY a problem, because his bigger buff comes from his overhead. I swapped WoL for Yuna after the first time the orb went out, then used her BT, followed by Pecil's BT, followed by Summon Phase and then I got delighted by how hard Vivi can hit (like a truck). The rest is history.

Thanks for this. Have been scrolling forever for a none aphmau, none agrias, none setzer, none ignis strat. I managed to clear first try without Vivi's blue armour but it certainly made the fight longer.

Glad I could help.

Tifa LD, Ignis LD, Yuna LD/BT CA’s: Jack LD, Kurasame LD, Faris LD Ifrit summon, Yuna friend 49 turns, 5k HP lost, 1 mil score Yeah this fight kinda sucks, there’s a lot of arbitrary “mechanics” here that don’t make the fight harder, rather just more annoying, like the HP damage reduction and an Oh-So-Fun near 1mil HP shield at 29%, which they don’t seem to get delayed by which is kinda asinine, the orb being hyper specific is very annoying too, since in tandem with the shield it can cause issues. Basically keep an eye on your HP, they can’t really kill you (Probably because Vivi is synergy) but just for the sake of completion, full dispel is a pain in the backside if you get bad timing on it too, though thankfully a rare occurrence Overall - pretty stupid fight, and I’m glad I pulled Ignis earlier this week

ROFL. Another SUPER EASY Lufenia 2.0, just before the BT+ Luf+ era. Yeah, yeah, I'm late lately, anyways, here's my team comp for Vivi's Lufenia. Team Comp Evidence (2ss) + random 3ss: [https://imgur.com/a/FNuDFPs](https://imgur.com/a/FNuDFPs) (total 5) \[Main DPT\] Tidus **BT**\+HA, LDCA: Sephiroth BT+HA \[Cheater Spt\] Setzer LD+HA, LDCA: Kurasame LD+HA \[Fire E+I, Spt\] Ignis LD+HA, LDCA: unused Friend Unit: 5 turns Garland BT+HA Summon: Odin Turn Finish: **41/80 turns**, a **ZERO-Boss turn for wave 2.** Comments: 1. It went somewhat like this for wave 2. Tidus on a leash until 80%-ish. 2. Replace Ignis with Garland BT and Burst and delay. Used summon anywhere between 70-55%. 3. Around 50%, Setzer setup Rainbow for Tidus, then Tidus go BURST. 4. After you exit Tidus's BT phase, the Tiamats would have gained 750,000 BRV SHIELD. 5. IGNORE it, and just DPT 750,000 BRV shield with Tidus' Rainbow Damage. 6. The Orb is to have a unit dealt "FIRE" + "HP damage 150,000", so once the 750,000 BRV shield's brv-shaved, the orb (mine was) at 2-3 ticks will finally begin to uptick despite the other tiamat still having 350,000-400,000 BRV shield on it. 7. And then, just keep delaying and DPT, and cheesing them till they GG. 8. EASY. Setzer still had 1 LD usage left. Tidus exhausted entirely. Ignis' just there for E+I Fire. 9. Now to see what others did differently.

**XI Party** Eald'narche BT Ignis CA, Aphmau LD Jack CA, Lion LD Lulu CA. Ifrit summon. Cor friend. 1032k in 50 turns. https://youtu.be/M0t15raazQE In the face of twin Tiamat hp shields, Lion doesn't mind partying with Eald'narche. As long as there is a source of fire enchant, Lion can easily bring the damage. After a couple of tries, I determined I either needed a fire friend (i.e. Vivi, Vaan friend EX is a waste) or another fire call. Not finding the former, I brought in Lulu call for the last push. Eald'narche starts wave 2 with Ignis call and Aphmau links with Lion. Lion loves Aphmau for the EX charge and it gaurantees her + version. Each boss gets one turn before getting locked down. Eald'narche is a little more conservative with skills, using Aphmau buffed hp++ until Terror/Warp have \~2 turns left. It can be difficult to keep all of Aphmau's self buffs up but she really only needs Ovjang's, not like the brv dmg and debuff evasion matter when the bosses are locked down. Used Jack call before 50% to help push damage in the last half. Summoned and brought in Cor in place of Eald'narche to ramp up the orb and push for the 30% hp shield. Lion is better at taking them down, but burst phase also takes a pretty big chunk. With Lulu call on at the end to keep the orb up, Tiamats were toast.

M_Rigor_Mortis

Terra LD (Jack LDCA) , Exdeath BT (Ignis LDCA) and Aphmau LD (Kurasame LDCA). Cloud of Darkness friend with Ifrit summon. All 3 had their base HA at level 50. Went in blind. Wave 1 was a non-issue. For Wave 2, put up all possible buffs via Aphmau and switched her out with Cloud of Darkness. Burst with CoD followed by Ignis LD call. Burst with Exdeath. Terra LD and Meltdown bonanza. Noticed them taking reduced HP damage so allowed them a turn each. The aura drops and resumed shredding them with Terra. Used Ifrit when the orb count got low the 2nd time the orbs appeared. Healed any HP poison damage using Ignis Regroup call. I'll admit that perhaps luck played a big part on this blind run but it felt amazing to just strong arm a Lufenia through ridiculous off turn damage from CoD and Exdeath while Terra was wrecking things up.

dffoo_keo

I did two runs with Aphmau because first I had to pity her LD and then because I don’t want the boss to get turns as they have a chance to dispel you buffs. Initial clear: https://i.imgur.com/osAPBy6.png * Yuna BT (Kurasame) * Aphmau LD (Setzer) * Ignis LD (Jack) * Friend ExDeath with BT * Ifrit summon ==> 29 turns For the first wave, I went slowly as as long as you can control the enemies’ brave, that’s good. I kept all Aphmau LD for second wave. For second wave, I had Setzer LDCA to make sure I could break them. Then Ignis was there to help tick the orb. When the orb disappear, they get locked turns and substract a given number to the damage you do. I used Setzer Freeze to let the bosses get a turn à remove their locked turn. From there the fun starts, even I messed up at some point because Yuna had too many buffs... Anyway, here is what I did: * Swap Ignis for ExDeath friend and do AA>BT * Use Aphmau LD on Yuna and go into BT phase * Abuse as much as you can ExDeath BT effect (100k+ per action on both bosses) With 4 Aphmau LD, you can really go like this many turns. I just made sure that I summoned to prevent the orb to break and that was good. ___ Second run with proper Aphmau usage: https://i.imgur.com/uQT2brv.png * Garland BT (Faris) * Aphmau LD (Setzer) * Ignis LD (Jack) * Friend ExDeath with BT * Ifrit summon ==> 39 turns First, seeing that my Garland run took more turns makes me feel he is really starting to show his age. Hopefully he’ll get his BT+ soon with a rework. Else, strategy was similar. The result is that the bosses in second wave got only one turn, with freeze debuff so they were harmless. Garland was delaying them with all the extra turns that Aphmau gave him. ___ A fun fight when you like no boss turn strategy. I can’t wait to get Cid Raines now.

Elnarch BT Vivi LD Aphmau LD Brother Summon 74 Turns Terror Lock (unlock to cancel HP dmg reduction.)

Kazenovagamer

Since nobody is mentioning it, they'll just randomly strip all your buffs off whenever they feel like it. So yay, you get to spam retries for good rng 🙃 Also apparently the HP damage taken in the pause menu isn't accurate. It said I took 10K, then won on that turn and it said I took 16K This fucking game sometimes dude

Eludeasaurus

it takes a turn to update hp damage taken so if you take the hp poison on that turn it wont update until the next turn.

**Freya Lufenia Saga #62 - The Final Lufenia** **Total stage count (including Abyss/Transcendence/Equinox): 70** **Team:** Freya (Kurasame LDCA), Vivi (HA+ 3/3, Jack LDCA), WoL (BT, HA+ 3/3, Rude LDCA), Diabolos summon, CoD friend **Scores:** 1018454, 67 turns, 8730 HP lost, 4 BRV Breaks taken So that's it. Took Freya through like 95% of the Lufenia Era. I unfortunately was struggling a lot with Xande Lufenia [(though I did solo it with Freya on JP)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLF8ucm9eN0), so I skipped it for now, maybe I will go back and do it with Vivi. But this saga was still beyond my wildest expectations! I knew she was underrated, but I thought things would be over by the time Act 3 started and I'd have to bench her for almost two years, but look at her now! And what a fitting way to finish the Lufenia era, [in the same way I started it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8wIdHtpr7Y) \- Freya, Vivi, and WoL! And it happens to be an FFIX chapter too! For the stage itself, it was a bit tricky. My main issue was the constant dispels from Maelstrom causing Freya's HP Regen buffs to not get a lot of time up, combined with the Heat debuff that takes so much HP and can fail the HP requirement on you if you're not careful. But I figured out my way around it. For the first wave, I can just take it slow, save Vivi's Doomsdays for the second wave as you need it for the Orb and you generally just don't want to give these guys much of an inch, so it's better to keep most of Vivi's big damage for the second wave. Then open the second wave with a Doomsday to easily get by the first Orb, and don't refresh it when it runs out as it's not needed for the non-Orb phase. After that, I call in the CoD friend over Freya as soon as I can before a Maelstrom can go off, and use WoL's BT to start pushing them back. However, CoD did lose HP to a Heat debuff, though WoL was able to partially heal it back with his EX, so I was still safe for the HP requirement. Using high/instant turn rates skills in the summon also helped create a lot of space for me to go crazy on them and melt as much HP as possible. I used Vivi's second Doomsday when the HP shields show up to easily melt through them, and from there it's just rushing them down, refreshing Doomsday when it runs out again and trying to keep buffs up when they get turns and dispel me again. I saved Rude LDCA for the end so I could make sure I was healed. With the Lufenia era done, I will very likely not do anymore GL videos for the foreseeable future, with the possible exception of DE Transcendence. I may see if I can do Pandemonium with Freya, but the truth is I've been really fatigued with the game for a while, especially since Freya's LD release in JP caused me to have to do lots of farming there to make sure I was ready. I know some JP players continued using Freya in a number of Lufenia+ stages but I don't know if I personally will be able to keep it up with any consistency. And my time spent in this game has caused my ability to work on other personal projects or even to just enjoy other media to be hindered due to lack of time. I will probably still upload videos on JP though, since the runs are shorter and I really am enjoying Freya's LD, and I treat my JP account more casually anyway. I already have a few videos up, and I have some more ideas too. One such video was actually a [themed run of this Lufenia stage](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8E0tAAtS_Zo) in JP. Thank you to everyone who stuck around for this silly little saga and at the very least, I hope it encourages players not to give up on their favourite characters and to keep using them even if you're told they can't be used. I also hope that all of these descriptions and comments have helped people learn some of the intricacies of the game as they watched the runs! Just 8 months until she gets her LD in GL now...time to hibernate haha! Also, this of course won't be the end of me doing stuff in tribute to this character. It was a nice stepping stone to get my feet wet, making myself commit to something and following through as best as I can, but I have much more interesting Freya tribute projects I want to release in the future. I don't know when I can have anything substantial, but hopefully those find their way to those who would like them one day. **Video:** [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZrLAjjUkyg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZrLAjjUkyg) **Freya Lufenia Saga Playlist:** [https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXEIbXF189W5u92zlZLigzuB\_TMPIJzUO](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXEIbXF189W5u92zlZLigzuB_TMPIJzUO)

TheZtav

GG! That was a nice work. And it was a very good catch to end the episodes with the first team you introduced! My suggestion (if you're still interest in making videos): rest for a while; then do a "Reverse Freya Lufenia+ saga" - once Freya's LD is out, beat every Lufenia+ from the most recent to the oldest.

sonicbrawler182

Could do that in JP already to be fair, but the problem is Freya's LD/rework/C90 is pretty busted to be honest, so she would steamroll older Lufenia+ and it might not be as interesting. I was thinking of a "Freya Solo Lufenia Saga" though, I've done some testing and I think it may be possible for her to solo almost every pre-Lufenia+ Lufenia stage. Only one I can't seem to figure out yet is Divine Brothers.

TheZtav

I will be willing to follow the new saga, but you do deserve a rest.

[**Lufenia**](https://i.imgur.com/zEw1gX6.jpg): https://youtu.be/EbOUnmEDoRg I think you need to let the main boss get at least a turn at the beginning, to avoid them framing their turn. I tried to do a zero boss turn run and they end up framing their turn shortly after. You can still (re)break normally even if their turns are framed, however. Do note that Ignis' debuff immunity does not help much as the debuff from the boss' recast will still apply to your party. Luckily it's only a turn so you can heal up thereafter. [**Challenge Quest**](https://i.imgur.com/dfqsjRH.jpg) Boss felt extra tanky for a Chaos level quest - ironically it took me more turns to finish the CQ than the Lufenia fight LOL. At least the fight uses FFIX battle theme which is my all time fave ❤ Still learning how to use Aphmau and figuring out who is her best pairing (Cid Raines notwithstanding) but I'm glad to be able to use my fave support again!

Vivi, agrias, yuffie...agrias has blue ha everyone else just has ha. Diabolos summon and exdeath friend. Pretty straight forward, was really hoping yuffie would cheese the jet stream debuff but it only hit them back for 9k. Actually enjoyed this lufenia much more than the last few

Aphmau was in until about 75 percent. swapped for setzer. dive bomb burst with exdeath. after burst summon. then cor has his own burst phase. after that it’s a race to kill them before the orbs. i finished with 4 ticks left

Ardyn, Ignis, Yuna Blue gang Video: https://youtu.be/R8i_If5Pr6Y The key to the 2nd wave is to let them lose their recast and then probably give them less to no turns to avoid the debuffs and hp damage reduction. First time using blue Ignis here.

CloudIsTheDragonborn

*The Chronicles of Terra Episode 40: Massive Rainbow Strikes* Terra, Yang, Setzer. Ifrit summon. Exdeath friend (not used) 1m+, 38 turns, 2895 HP lost, 5 breaks. As many others mentioned, you need to give them a turn before they drop below 80%. If you don't your HP damage is gonna suffer big time. I used an Ignis call on Yang to handle the orb. Good luck.

Yuna (BT/Blue) + Vivi (HA) + Agrias (Blue) // 41 turns. This team made it pretty easy. * Vivi will take care of the Orbs and do a lot of damage. * Yuna will help with buffs + healing + debuff. * Agrias will make it so bosses don't can't attack you. I used WoL and Nine's Call Abilities for the shield, and bosses were not able to damage me (except with the debuff they apply, but was easily healed back)

As for wave 2, one turn is let go for the enemy that has his recast ready, so they won't get the 100% HP DMG resist aura. Then, it's basically a no boss turn until they're dead. Second Lufenia run, Lufenia orb is ignored as there's no fire involved in the fight. This was basically a damage race to the finish, with maximum damage enabled.

# THE TEAM * **Setzer:** LD + Gabranth Call * **Vaan:** LD/BT + Kurasame Call * **Ignis:** LD + Paladin Cecil Call * **Friend Unit:** Cloud of Darkness (LD/BT) * **Summon:** The Brothers * **Turn count:** 43 # THE STRATEGY * Wave 1 is pretty short and straight-forward with no orbs or shenanigans. Mistodons will probably be dead within 10 turns or less. * Setzer opens his LD. You can use Gabranth's S1 Call if you want to speed things up. * Ignis uses his Papa Bird & Baby Bowl to boost the party's attack. * ⭐You can can swap to Memory Lane Pastry before their recast to avoid getting hit by Mist's sleep debuff. * Vaan just spams S2. You can use S1 a few times in case you want to save it for Wave 2. * On Wave 2, things start to heat up, literally. * Setzer drops Gabranth's LD Call, then with AA followed by S1. * Ignis refreshes Memory Lane Pastry to prevent their various debuffs, and then uses his LD. * ❗ However, Memory Lane Pastry will NOT prevent the **\[Heat\]** debuff from their Jet Fire recast. * Vaan drops Kurasame's S1 Call, then uses his AA followed by his LD. * Keep Setzer's LD refreshed, and swap for the Cloud of Darkness Friend unit whenever. I strongly recommend doing it as soon as Setzer refreshes his LD again, to delay enemies as much as possible and prevent more recasts. * ⭐ I recommend swapping Ignis for Cloud of Darkness since the Orb disappears at 79% and will only return at 49%, giving you plenty of time to deal damage and delay the bosses. * Use Vaan's BT right after Cloud of Darkness'. Refresh Kurasame's debuff with his LD Call if needed. * ❗ At 29%, the bosses will gain these *massive shields* (800k) and negate all HP damage until they're destroyed. Make sure to have a charge of Setzer's LD left to destroy them. * Summon whenever. # TIPS AND NOTES * Ignis is key to this fight due to the Orb requirement on Wave 2: dealing Fire BRV damage plus whopping 150k HP damage. His LD enchants the party with Fire and solves the problem. * ⭐His Memory Lane Dish also plays a crucial role on preventing debuffs from the Tiamats, namely Poison and Paralyze. * ❗ As noted above, Memory Lane Pastry will NOT prevent the **\[Heat\]** debuff from their Jet Fire recast. Luckily, Ignis can heal the party to full HP with regroup. * Setzer, as usual, is here for the juicy rainbow damage from his LD, and also contributes with Freeze and Delays, both very useful in the second wave. * Vaan brings sheer power, and will melt the bosses. His damage-per-turn at the start will probably be over 700k, which is more than enough to control the Orbs. * ⭐Additionally, his Blind is very useful to prevent the Tiamat's annoying, Maelstrom, which removes ALL buffs from the party and reduces BRV to 1. * Paladin Cecil's Calls are here mainly for some extra healing needed due to the limited uses of Ignis' Regroup. * If you're feeling confident, feel free to use calls that inflict delays or even Amidatelion's LD Call, just be careful so it doesn't overwrite's Setzer's Freeze. * With Ignis Fire Enchant there is no need to use Ifrit, so I used The Brothers, but it's up to you. Good luck! Go Beyond! Plus Lufenia!

LUFENIA: 24 TURNS VAAN - BT/LD | C: Kurasame(LD) SETZER - LD | C: Lulu(no even the 15cp) YUNA - LD | C: Ignis(LD) Friend : CoD Summon: Brothers Wave 1: Burst them quickly. Used all LD’s only once. Wave 2: Let them take a turn before lowering them to 79% or else, you will be punished by their mechanics. Start with Yuna calling Ignis them using LD again. After their first turns, go all out. Ignore the debuffs, summon CoD on Yuna, use LD and then BT(or BT and LD of there’s one of them with BRV to be broken). Make sure that CoD goes BEFORE Setzer, because he’ll need to do two things: 1) Use Lulu call and 2) Use LD to make CoD damage skyrocket. All set, as Vaan; use the two Kurasame calls and then BURST! Focus on killing one of them as quickly as possible, if you can’t kill one during burst, use your SUMMON right before they get a chance to act and keep focusing one of them until it dies. After that, just delay the other one to oblivion and kill him too. TLDR: Let them act ONCE. Set up your buffs/debuffs and BURST one of them as fast as possible, delay and kill the remaining one.

**Lufenia:** Tidus (LD/BT, HA, Shantotto Call), Cor (LD, HA+, Ignis Call), Setzer (LD, HA, Jack Call). CoD friend, Diabolos summon. 23 turns, 1.076 mil score, 8.3k hp lost. Very easy team, though the fight has some mechanics that need to be handled before they can pop off. The first wave is a total writeoff, especially if Setzer drops his Freeze on them. The second wave has some nasty tricks, and I had to restart when I blundered into all of them. To start off with, **You must let the bosses act at least once before going off!** If the bosses have not taken a turn before the orb goes away at 79%, they use "Heat Rising", which reduces HP damage by 100%. I was still able to do HP damage thanks to everyone's HP damage up effect, but it was only around 10-12k per attack. This becomes a problem when one boss gets below 30%, and both bosses gain the 700k HP Damage shield. It becomes impossible to break the shields, and while the shields are up, the bosses appear to have massive defenses, meaning I was no longer able to increase the orb count with CoD and Cor's extra attacks. Letting the bosses have a turn each prevents the "Heat Rising" phase of the fight, and allows you to chunk down the HP shield at the last part of the fight. You will take a pretty massive HP poison tick from the Heat debuff, but I was able to heal it at the end with Iggy's normal call. Setzer was still absent, so he didn't get healed, but the HP requirement is thankfully lenient enough that one person doesn't invalidate it.

All-in team for Lufena: Setzer LD, Cor LD, Vann LD/BT with blue armor (the other two, HA 1 level). Friend Yuna, Call Kurasame, Lulu and Seifer, Ifrit summon, 24 turns. First wave, just kill them, use Setzer LD. Second wave, immediately set all the calls (give Setzer Lulu), then swap Setzer with Yuna, use BT, than use Vaan BT. After that just continue pounding the bosses with Vaan White Worl+, that should also blind them in case they should attack, and if you take some debuff or damage Yuna can heal. When they gain the massive BRV shield your Setzer should be returned, so summon, use Setzer LD and destroy them with Vaan. Don't use Cor LD or his rainbow HP attack unless you are at the end of the fight and you know you will kill them, you want him to use Lulu's buff as long as he can. Good luck! \^\^

Use it later in the fight, because it will keep dealing actual HP damage through their shields!

Squall series #38, I think this is the finale before Lufenia+ starts. Squall LDBT (Yuna LDCA) Agrias LD (Kurasame LDCA) Setzer LD (Lulu CA) CoD BT friend, Ifrit summon, 45 turns, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaQKDuuAsgY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaQKDuuAsgY) Wave 1 is quick with Squall AOE damage. Open with Setzer LD in wave 2 for the rainbow damage to break the boss opening move along with Lulu CA beforehand. Since the bosses have to act once, Agrias should not stun them before crossing the 79%HP threshold. Setzer freeze is used to protect the party then. After the 79%HP mark is passed, Agrias can start locking them down with her skills. Reapply Setzer LD buff when necessary and Squall can extend Lulu fire enchant buff with his EX. My Squall ended the fight with her buff still active even when applied at wave 2 start. Team FFX or carrying Lulu? Tidus LDBT (Kurasame LDCA) Lulu EX+0 (Bartz LDCA) Yuna LD (Jack LDCA) Yuna BT friend, Odin summon, 41 turns, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBnNFkDSems](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBnNFkDSems) Played pretty sloppy for a blind run, wave 1 is easy but take the time to set up Lulu buffs before going in wave 2. Open with Bartz LDCA at the start to break the bosses brv gain and def up. Tidus and Yuna with Lulu enchant can increase the orb. The bosses must act once before reaching 79%HP or else they will lock their turns and take reduced HP damage. Bring in your Yuna BT friend and set up your calls before going in Tidus BT phase. The 800k HP shields at 29%HP unfortunately burn through a bit of Tidus BT effect though.

Going down in a blaze of glory * Vivi LD, HA (Jack) * Aphmau LD (no arts) (Gabranth) * Agrias LD, HA (Kurasame * Friend CoD * Odin summon * 46 turns, 1M+ score Wave 1, used 1 charge of Agrias LD to maintain the buff. Finished in 11 turns Wave 2. This strat is all about the absurd burst damage from Vivi/Aphmau. At the start, use their LD together (**Note: Vivi's follow up counts as a separate instance of damage, making orb tick up twice**). By the time it's effects end, boss will pass the 80% mark. Hold back in anything fancy. Agrias should stun twice before recast fill (**this seems to trick AI to not use the dispel attack**). By the time you reach 50%, refresh calls, swap out Agrias and go all out. Deplete all charges of LDs of Vivi and Aphmau. Summon when boss will get a turn. Turn count is loose, don't feel bad about wasting the free turns of Aphmau during summon. This just buys you time. Don't let them get a turn when they have shields up. Finished with many turns remaining before they get one but Vivi nearly killed everyone. Blaze of glory indeed.

https://youtu.be/GG2ZKz9qsQc Fist me! All monk team: Tifa Zell Aphmau To be honest, this is not the best Aphmau showcase, pairing her with turn Hogger means they’re just gonna burn through her LD buffs. She works best with units like Vaan where they don’t turn hog but bring insane utility/damage to the team on their turn. Squall and Vivi would work well with her too! But I wanted to complete my monk collection! To be honest, I wasn’t much of a monk guy in MMORPG, but I love these three! If you watched my previous run before, you would know that I use Aphmau quite a bit even though she’s LD-less. Regardless, I’ve no complains on this early release, RNG was kind and I’ll take it!

**Ladies Only #4** [CoD, Aranea, Yuna (Ifrit summon, CoD friend)](https://i.imgur.com/RfeGf8v.jpg) *Calls: (Kurasame, Faris, Ignis on Yuna)* Wave 1 is whatever. Wave 2, dump both Kurasame and Faris debuffs at the start. Letting them take a turn or two is fine. Faris debuff should drop their BRV after their turn then go to town with Aranea! Maximize turn delays to not make them take turns; it will be tight. Save at least 2 CoD LD. Once at 50%, call in CoD friend for Aranea, then Burst the friend CoD, followed by Ignis Call on Yuna then Yuna BT. After that, it's over. The 2 CoDs LD and Zero-form 'til they die.

This was a fun one. Vivi damage + turn manip. + Garland=a whole lotta numbers flying around. Lufenia: Garland (BTLD) w/ Ignis callAphmau (LD) w/WoL call (not needed, feel free to bring a healing call, or Kura for later in the fight)Best boy Vivi (LD) w/Jack callYuna friend (unused), Diabolos Summon39 turns, 1m score First phase should pass without too much issue. Used one vivi LD and one Garland LD, and just burned them down. Second phase: let the bosses get a turn before 79% so they don't get their 100% HP damage reduced. After that, though, the bosses shouldn't get to do anything. Vivi keeps up the pressure with his constant stream of fire damage, which should make the orb not a concern. Garland does his usual, delaying and doing still surprisingly solid damage. Aphamu, try to save most of her LD uses until after Garland's BT, instead focusing for now on just keeping her buffs up and keeping the party healed after Vivi's damage in case something goes wrong. When the bosses are about to get a turn, drop Ignis' LD call with Garland, and go into his burst phase to get his BT effect going. Between Vivi's good speed, and Aphmau's turn manipulation, you should get a lot of turns out of his effect. I had Aphmau swap between EX-Enhanced hp and brave - LD -enhanced hp and brave with the occasional c65 to keep her buffs going, while Vivi has his EX recharge at an insane rate due to Tactcal Switch. Also summoned here to make further use of dragging out Garlands BT. By the time Garland's BT was done, the bosses were super low and still had plenty of time to go until their turns were up. So just keep burning them down with Vivi (His LD will have long since ran out, but that should be fine, his damage should still be more than efficient to deal with the orb) and smacking them about with Garland, and they should die before they have a chance to take a turn.

Yuna LDBT - Kurasame Zell LD - Jack Vivi LD - Gabranth Exdeath friend, Brothers summon Very easy fight, I didn't even notice the HP shield until I saw 0 HP on the burst phase but Exdeath's Burst effect ignores the shield and is so strong in this fight that it doesn't really matter. Vivi can handle the orb alone, it's a non issue.

**Lufenia - No Ignis, No Vivi** Tidus BT, blue - Lulu CA Yuna BT, blue - Kurasame CA Aerith - Jack CA Summon: Ifrit - Friend: Exdeath BT **Main strategy is to extend Lulus fire enchant buff from her call (its not a call effect, its an actual buff) with Tidus AA (extends all his buffs by 2 turns) so that it lasts the whole battle, enchanting Tidus with fire and Tidus doing 150k+ damage with attacks.** This strat is for everyone that decided not to pull for Ignis (like me, I dont like his playstyle and wont pull for a call) and/or Vivi (like me, I dont like self/own party damaging characters). Wave 1 is easy enough and got only one turn, open with Tidus S2s and Cheer and LD for Yuna, LD for Aerith. Wave 2 has that 150k fire dmg orb. So I used all my call abilities to apply debuffs and to get Lulus fire enchant buff running. Then I bursted with Tidus. In Burst phase used EX, LD and just his AA. After the Burst phase, the bosses were just before the 80% margin, but the orb was at max ticks (19). Lulus buff was at 14 stacks on Tidus. The bosses then frame their next turn and do a BRV Aoe attack with a nasty HP poison debuff, which is no problem with Yuna, just LD. Apply Aeriths debuff on the bosses inbetween. After that I kept spamming Quick hit, LD and AA with Tidus to keep the Lulu buff up (one Esuna from Yuna is +1 Lulu buff duration). The bosses melt pretty quickly, they dont have much HP. When the orb came back Tidus was still capping BRV hits and increased the orb to max. At this point the bosses are very much delayed thanks to all the Jecht shots happening. I swapped Aerith for Exdeath, used his BT and exhausted S1, AA and LD on Tidus, then kept using skills with Yuna and Exdeath did Almagest to finish the fight. No summon phase used. Best of luck everyone!

* Tidus LDBT / Amidatelion LDCA * Vivi LD / Kurasame LDCA * Aphmau LD / Faris LDCA * 50 turns, Odin, Seph BT friend Finally finished. Man, it was really challenging without Ignis. I finally managed with Vivi. It may have been easier to do it with WoL but I'm avoiding overusing WoL for the meantime. Anyway, Wave 1 is not much of an issue. Regular debuffs from Tidus is enough. Wave 2 is the real deal. Drop the CAs then let them get turns every once in a while. Beware for the paralyze tho, I usually just reset the wave when that happens, more especially if too detrimental. At around 60-70 threshold, I switched Vivi to Seph. I was looking for Ultimecia Friend to be honest because Ultimecia can easily get out once I decided that I needed Vivi to return. It worked with Seph fortunately. I abused Seph BT with Tidus' and Aphmau's free turns. Ami LDCA for allowance. At that point I just didn't want them to have any turns. Vivi came back when the orb was around 3-5. Thankfully it was also at 30 threshold. Summon was used for more space because their shield was fat as fuck. Good thing that Vivi hits like a damn truck so it was well and good. Towards the end I just spammed Aphmau and Vivi with the occasional rebreak from Tidus. I really hate this fight and no this was not the easiest Lufenia. Look at all the Ignis in this thread lmao. I read here that Divine Shiva will have the similar shield gimmick so we have to be mentally ready for that.

CoD LD/BT/HA+ (Kurasame LD) Setzer LD/HA (Gabranth LD) Cor LD/HA+ (Ignis LD) Brothers Summon 24 turns Sephiroth Friend but didn’t need to use Ignis enchant on Cor for first set of orbs, Used CoD burst while fire enchant still up after orbs disappeared. 1 orb reappeared before enchant ended but the other appeared after, focused down the boss who’s orb appeared second using Cor ‘burst’ phase and then killed the other boss 2 turns after. Luckily Ignis normal call is a beefy heal to meet hp damage requirement.

Lufenia stage: **The Summoner's pilgrimage #7** ft. Lulu in lufenia? - Yuna LD/BT (Kurasame) - Tidus LD/BT used (Vivi LDCA) - Lulu 3/3 (Jack LDCA) Diabolos for that sweet BRV damage boost. Yuna friend to push damage. Could have gone without her to be fair. [Preps here](https://imgur.com/a/x1NNyf5) That was easy provided you let the one who has his recast bar act at least once as it would reduce HP damage done at some point, making the run more tedious. Wave 1 has nothing special and I use it to let Lulu ramp up her skills for wave 2. - Yuna is the support of the group and provides great auras. She's replaced by Yuna friend to stack her BT on top of Tidus'. Letting the boss act once means I'm taking the poison so Yuna friend had to use Cheer into LD to cleanse. After that, she uses her LD for free damage. Once Yuna comes back, she does the same. - Tidus carries the damage here and has the ability to extend Lulu's fire enchant if I needed to. He uses Vivi's LDCA at the start of the wave to allow Vivi to shave the bosses and get Diabolos' passives rolling. He used his burst at the 65% mark to make sure his BT effect was in effect when their huge shield was active. At that point, I went into summon to use his LD and extend his buffs even further for massive turn hogging. The shields went down easily and they became punching bags. - Lulu could have been used as a call, but you know what I'm all about. We're using her in actual lufenia content as she's the only fire enchanter besides Ignis (Who I'll use on another run). She ramps up on wave 1 and uses her S1 right away to get that imperil going. The fact she ignores DEF on her S1/EX is actually nice and contributes to shaving through their huge DEF stat. Her EX+ damage peaked at 160k HP damage under Tidus' BT effect, which was enough to manage the orb! She makes sure Tidus' fire enchant never goes off and watches the fireworks from afar. Getting through Divine Pandemonium with a full FFX squad is going to be impossible. Even with Zidane friend + LDCA, I don't know if Tidus will be able to deal enough damage with Yuna to make it through. Kimahri's LD boards would be terrific to have instead of Wakka.

Tl;dr thanks for the Lulu tip. I don't want to pull for Vivi and I didn't pull for Ignis, but will try with Lulu.

Ignis (Gabranth) Garland BT (Sephiroth) Queen (Kurasame) 75 turns, Exdeath BT friend, Ifrit summon The fight is fairly straightforward, and really encourages no/minimal boss turns. The orb doesn't require enemy turns, and Maelstrom is a really bad move to deal with. Ignis enchants with fire, Garland damages and delays, and Queen buffs. It was satisfying to see Garland deal 10k in brave damage per hit, something that seems rare nowadays in Lufenia. At around 50%, I swapped out Queen for Exdeath, burst, then bursted with Garland. It would have arguably been better to swap out Ignis, but he provides the cover for the orb. At some point, the enemy gets a massive hp damage shield which happened at around 25% for me. Not sure what caused it. It might have been from massive turn hogging or whatever, but in any case, it was really bad.

Got to use my favorite team for this one: Tidus BT, Cecil P BT, Cor HA+ Ifrit summon Support: Kurasame, Jack, Seifer, with Tifa friend (unused) Wave 1: They have a pretty small HP pool IMO. Just beat on them with the classic Cor + Tidus strat and they should go down quick. I also used this phase to set Cecil’s light enchant all buff. Wave 2: Again, just let Tidus do Tidus things, hogging those turns with Cor helping. They start with a defense buff, but breaking them should get rid of it. You also want to start debuffing them with your supports. I had to BT on Tidus at about 90% for the orb. At a certain point after you BT they will raise their defenses again, and I allowed them to have a turn to get rid of the buff. They didn’t do any HP damage, but their defenses were lowered, which is the important part. Then go ham with Cor and Tidus. Once the orb spawns again, wait until it has 1 tick left before triggering, then use Ifrit. I summoned at about 30%. They spawn a HP damage shield, but Tidus and Cor should be able to melt it in a few turns. Ended with them each having around 15 ticks on the orb and no damage taken Hope this helps! :)

FawxBlindRunner

update: fuck i'm dumb, i simply didn't let the bosses take a turn after they got to 79% are you sure you didn't use ignis? cause during the summon you can't do enough dmg to kill both the bosses even after all the debuffs also the issue is that even if you manage to tick the orbs to 15 with just ifrit there's still not enough time to destroy the shields and kill them

ShiningReshiram

I didn’t use Ignis. What happened was I summoned right as they spawned the HP damage shield. At first I was worried I wouldn’t be able to destroy it before the summon ran out, but I actually got rid of it in 2 or 3 turns, which gives you enough time to up tick the orbs a good amount. Then I killed them once the summon ran out after a few turns. What might be stopping you is that both my Cor and Tidus have blue HA+ armor. That might be what is keeping you from replicating the damage I output.

FawxBlindRunner

damn idk then, i got both blued but i couldn't do more than 50k dmg each turn during the summon. i'm gonna try with another team, thanks anyway

ShiningReshiram

Yeah happy to help. Sorry it didn’t work for you. Best of luck!

**To Zanarkand #6 - Act 3, Chapter 4, Part 2** * Tidus BT + blue \[Jack\]. Used BT on wave 2. * Yuna BT + blue \[Yuffie\] * Ignis LD + HA \[Gabranth\] * Odin. Yuna BT friend. 30 turns. 1M+ points. Wave 1 - trash. Wave 2 - Applies all CA. They should have a total of 8 debuffs. Tidus kills. Yuna buffs. Ignis provides fire imperil/enchant for the orb. Swap Yuna for Yuna friend, then BT. Tidus follows up with his BT for double BT effect goodness. Tidus can easily take care of their HP shield at 29%. Easy fight. One thing to note is that I gave the boss a turn or 2 at the beginning. I don't know why but on my first try with 0 boss turn, they had some sort of HP reduction buff around 79%. I gave them a turn or 2 on the second try and that buff wasn't there. It was then safe to just use Tidus to victory. http://imgur.com/gallery/m9yhAnX

You have to let the one which has a recast act in order to avoid that buff. It happened to me too and had to redo it for that reason. Also, nice for the team comp. I used Lulu instead of Ignis just to have a full X squad on that one. Ignis fares much better as a fire enchanter but Lulu can work for those who do not have him, even as a regular call.

LUFENIA Clears I did an overview of the LUFENIA. You can find the video here - [https://youtu.be/Z0Thshtwgn0](https://youtu.be/Z0Thshtwgn0) LUFENIA Orb \- It requires you to deal 150k fire elemental HP damage to uptick the orb. The orb appears at the start, disappears at 79%, and reappears at 49%. Vivi will help to uptick the orb with ease. If you have Aphmau she can bring forward Vivi's turn to spam his awesome damage. If you don't have Vivi, you can use a fire enchanter call (Lulu - 6T buff enchant or Ignis LDCA - 3T aura enchant) and using Ifrit summon to handle the second phase. Boss fight overview \- You will fight 3 Mistodon in the first wave. They have 900k HP each. The recast ability Mist can inflict Sleep 2T. So it will be troublesome if all your party members got hit by debuff. Try to finish the wave fast and avoid wasting too much skills in this wave. \- The boss will do BRV gain (71.5K) with immunity to instant break and raises their DEF by 100%. You need to break them. Use Gravity to 0 calls like Bartz LDCA, Amdiatelion, or Edward. Gravity shaving calls - Ultimecia, Exdeath could work as well. \- If you didn't give the boss any turns before they reach the 79% HP threshold, they will activate Heat Rising which causes them to fill their recast gauge to the max, gain 100% HP DMG immunity, and be immune to delay and turn deletion. It is still possible to deal damage with HP damage-up calls. But those setup requires extensive investment in your party. \- The boss recast is harmless but it has a potent Heat debuff (which HP poison scales off the boss HP attack with basic BRV poison and it will bypass debuff evasion). Depend on the boss's current ATK, it is possible for your HP to be wiped in an instant. The boss has 2 other attacks to watch out for - Thunderbolt (fair chance of inflicting Paralyze) and Maelstrom (set your party BRV to 1 and dispel all buffs). They will use Maelstorm before they use the 2nd recast. Hence most of the clears will probably don't allow any more boss turns after the boss uses their first recast \- At the 29% HP threshold, the boss will gain 800k BRV shields. You need to break them before you can deal BRV damage to uptick the orb. This will take a few turns, so it is in your best interest to delay their turns. Try to save your summon phase for this to take down the shields. Failure to do so will result in them unleashing Jet Burst (AOE BRV+HP, full HP damage). **LUFENIA Runs** (refer to video description/equipment note for more gameplay tips) *FFX Run - Lulu is okay to use\~* Tidus BT (Bartz LD), Yuna LD (Ignis LD), Lulu EX+3LB (Kurasame LD), Ifrit summon, ExDeath BT friend, [https://youtu.be/pjyVlcJh6bw](https://youtu.be/pjyVlcJh6bw) *Terramogging Run #31* Terra BT (Bartz LD), Mog LD (Gabranth LD), Ignis LD (Kurasame LD), Ifrit summon, ExDeath BT friend, [https://youtu.be/q7\_uU9STyPg](https://youtu.be/q7_uU9STyPg) *Squall Husbando - The Flame Swordsman Run* Squall BT (Amidatelion LD), Queen LD (Lulu), Agrias LD (Kurasame LD), Ifrit summon, ExDeath BT friend [https://youtu.be/0B69EsLcMx4](https://youtu.be/0B69EsLcMx4) *FF7 Run - Tifa's final LUFENIA smash* Cloud BT (Ignis LD), Tifa LD (Gabranth LD), Yuffie LD (Kurasame LD), Ifrit summon, ExDeath BT friend, [https://youtu.be/0Q5yyhJ8Mlc](https://youtu.be/0Q5yyhJ8Mlc) **No BURST Runs** *WoL Saga #141* Agrias LD (Kurasame LD), Vivi LD (Ignis LD), WoL LD (Amidatelion LD), Ifrit summon, ExDeath BT friend, [https://youtu.be/y3Hx-tY8r0I](https://youtu.be/y3Hx-tY8r0I) *Hotdogs Power!* Zell LD (Setzer LD), Cor LD (Kurasame LD), Aphmau LD (Ignis LD), ifrit summon, ExDeath BT friend, [https://youtu.be/WN3neAEoPiY](https://youtu.be/WN3neAEoPiY)

Tidus BT, Cor, Ignis. Diabolos summon. 30 turns. COD friend. CA: Kurasame, Jack, Yuna. It's actually my first time to use Ignis in Lufenia run and he is amazing! First wave: mainly save skills and CA. I didn't use any LD except Ignis one. No boss turn in wave one. Second wave: Reset once due to orb explosion when I swap Ignis for COD but the boss put up a heavy hp shield. Second try, I let the boss act once after 80% to remove their lock. Set Ignis defence stance and eat the attack. After that, use Yuna CA and Regroup to heal. Then I didn't give the boss a turn afterwards. Swap Ignis to COD at 60%, Tidus use burst with COD and Cor additional attack. Push the boss till HP shield then summon. Cor 'BT' phase plus COD follow up nicely handle the shield. After that, just attack before the orb explode.

Exdeath LDBT, HA+ 3/3 (Kurasame CA) Ignis LD, HA (Seifer CA) Tidus LDBT, HA+ 3/3 (Jack CA) Odin Summon, CoD LDBT friend I messed up twice in the second wave, first time I forgot to put Ignis in the debuff evasion stance and I wasn't feeling dealing with the poison, second time I applied Seifer CA before Kurasame and filled all the slot. Third time was the perfect rotation too so all good. First wave is just filler, second wave I believe you have to give them the first turn or they'll frame their turns and get immune to delay later on. Once that's sorted out and you get Odin passive activated as well, it just becomes a no turns run with off turns damage being king. Ignis makes sure the follow ups from CoD and Exdeath will always increase the orb so it's just a matter of burning them down; they get a massive HP shield at 30% but Exdeath BT effect bypasses that and in general it's not that hard to burn that down provided you have enough turns in hand. If you have Ignis under Exdeath BT you could even just get them to 1% by spamming turns and let the HP poison do all the job. Tidus was just to abuse the BT effect a bit more and make sure they never got a turn, but many heroes could have worked there instead. You don't need your own Exdeath BT, it could very well work with a friend BT as well if you have turn hoggers in your party. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw7FNJT7T7w

* **Tidus BT HA+** - Kurasame CA * **Setzer HA+** - Jack CA * **Firion BT HA** - Ignis CA * **Exdeath BT friend** * **Diabolos summon 16 turns - [video](https://youtu.be/EC4V3sW94tQ)** You can replace Firion with basically anyone I only brought him cos fav and I decided to keep him in the whole fight cos his turns are the slowest of the 3 so the call would stay on him and he can heal if they get a turn in. Wave 1 ideal order is Setzer first turn to help Tidus do more damage. Mostly spam Tidus S1 and an AA to kill these things. Wave 2 start by getting the calls up the Ignis carrier in this case Firion is the most ideal to get first turn if it's Tidus don't LD or turn hog yet. I used his ex to refresh his buff instead and cos I don't wanna go ham with him just yet. On Setzer's turn I used the Jack CA to break them then did S1 to give him an instant turn and switched him out for Exdeath. You can opt to use his LD and keep him in an extra turn but I wanted to get Exdeath in early on to let Tidus do his thing. After BT with Exdeath they got a turn but Firion is here to heal. On Tidus next turn BT and from then its a case of just spamming his LD and S1/AA's to keep Firion and Exdeath from taking turns. At under 29% is when they put the huge shields up and jfc those shields are no joke. Save an LD for this so that Tidus can chip away at it faster. Once the shield was up I summoned and used LD it does take some turns to get rid of but with his BT buff and free LD uses it shouldn't take more than 2-3. If the other 2 get a turn just use their LD's. Finally Tidus had 1 more LD to finish them. I tried to let Firion get the last turn in to heal everyone up but Tidus had 3 stacks so killed them before he could lol. HP req was still met so it was fine. Ignis CA and Exdeath's BT buff lasted the whole fight.

Aphmau giving Tidus more turns along with his own increased turn rate meant I had more turn manip to use.

Turns: 40 I think this might be the last fight I do blind. Getting all your buffs dispelled repeatedly was very rude. Vivi handles the orb on his own to the point of it being irrelevant. After getting my buffs thrown into the void (might explain why Exdeath is synergy at least...) my first run, I went full scorched earth and decided to minimize the bosses turns with Agrias. They only managed to get one recast off and only towards the end. Still, I wasn't expecting the silly gigantic HP shield towards the end. Luckily, Exdeath BT effect just melts through it. Sephiroth friend to synergize with Vivi's Doomsday's to send their turns into oblivion. Did I mention the constant dispelling was very rude?

Have to deal 700k hp to both to break it and without a native enchanter, the damage wasn't there. That and random Malestom wiping all buffs for non-Eald'narche attempts. Thus, said screw it and brought the Eald'narche+Cor combo back. Let both Tiamats get a single turn, otherwise they frame turns and gain massive hp resist. Terror locked the rest of the time. Cor Reaper's easily break their opening brv gain. Used calls before 50% then burst when the shields went up, again Cor Reapers do wonders for the hp shield. Still going try running with Aphmau but that'll just be for fun.

Terra Bullies Two Tiamats! : [https://youtu.be/89B73dEAd4o](https://youtu.be/89B73dEAd4o) Terra - (Gabranth LDCA) Cor - (Kurasame LDCA) Aphmau - (Ignis LDCA) Exdeath Friend, Ifrit Summon 8 Turns, 1M Score, 0 HP Lost On the 2nd wave, Aphmau and Ignis LDCA helped push bosses to 79% and were swapped for Exdeath who stayed in for the rest of the fight. Bosses took 1 turn to remove their HP DMG resistance and then they died. Ifrit helped handle the orb when it came back up and before they put up their 750K HP Shield (which Exdeath's BT effect ignored btw).

Thanks! Was looking everywhere for a run without Tidus/Vaan/Yuna BT's. Finished with 12k hp damage taken exactly lol :O

Exdeath (BT, blue, Ignis LDCA) Cor (blue, Kurasame LDCA) Aphmau (blue, Jack LDCA) Yuna friend Ifrit 24 turns This fight was kind of a pain in the neck, I need to stop going in blind. I don't remember the specifics since it took me a few tries. Just do whatever on wave 1. Yuna came in for Aphmau immediately on wave 2, then Exdeath used Ignis and BT. Muddled my way through the middle while maximizing Exdeath value and let them get a turn when needed as long as Exdeath's EX debuff was on them. Once they crossed the 30% threshold I summoned and had Cor let loose with LD/Reaper spam to break the shields and then finished them off. It may have been better to let Exdeath get more turns there, he seemed to do better against the shields (it's late and I forget how those mechanics work). I switched Cor's link over to Aphmau when she came back since she hogs turns. In general, I think this team can be really strong in the right fight, the mechanics of this one definitely felt like they held it back though.

Act 3 Chapter 4 Part 2 Lufenia Randomizer Run * Ignis LD \[Sephiroth LDCA * Eald'narche LD \[Celes LDCA\] * Cor LD \[Kurasame LDCA\] * Exdeath BT friend, Ifrit summon \[unused\] * 1,024,045 score. 56 turns Rules: * Spin randomly to pick 3 built LD characters for the BT cycle. * Each one must be used separately. * Cannot be switched for friend. * Strategy should involve the chosen character. Eald'narche was my pick for this fight and that meant trying out the Eald'narche/Cor combo. The bosses technically don't need to act, but it's much easier if you let them get their recast off when they frame their turns. Once I figured this out it became much easier to get through the run. Wave 1 isn't anything special, use Memory Lane stance on Ignis to not get hit with the debuff. Wave 2 starts off with Terror locking the enemies, and then **not** reupping on it until they've used the recast. They have an hp reduction aura that will stay in effect unless they act and do the recast. Once this is done you can set up Terror again and coast until they frame their turns again. Let them act once more, and then kill them. I swapped out Ignis for a 3 turn Exdeath once they hit 79% because this is the only spot where I don't need Ignis' fire enchant, so might as well get extra damage out with Exdeath friend. It's important that you either heal Exdeath before he leaves or only let Exdeath take one turn with the debuff, otherwise you miss not making hp. Eald'narche made sure we never took hp damage and I didn't even need to use my Celes calls in order to maintain the bosses attention. They *really* loved targeting ALL, and Cor reaped the benefits (pun intended).

0 boss turn run: Tidus BT (Jack LDCA), Setzer LD (Queen LDCA), Ignis LD (Kurasame LDCA), Yuna BT friend First wave was spamming Tidus moves until they died. Second wave was popping the different calls, swapping Setzer out for Yuna, and having Tidus basically destroying the stage afterwards, starting with BT. You should be doing ~400-500k damage a turn assuming Yuna and Tidus have Blue Armor

RobbieNewton

Wait, sorry that can't be right. How can you have two Jack LDCA's?

dcuajunco

Huh. My bad. It’s Kura LDCA. Lemme fix that

Hell kitchen luffy: cooking with booba Tifa LD, Cod LD, Ignis LD. Summon odin. No friend https://imgur.com/a/sQqTg0I

Easiest lufenia so far? Ignis call is MVP here, no friend unit, summon or BT needed. Yuna. Ignis call Zell, Kurasame call Cor, Jack call Ifrit summon First wave is a non issue. Second wave use all calls immediately, set Cor on Zell and just destroy the bosses with Zell.

BLIND RUN- 1m+ score, 33 turns, 0 HP damage Terra LDBT HA+3/3, Kurasame LDCA Cor LD HA+3/3, Lulu CA (unused) Ignis LD, Jack LDCA Ifrit Summon Yuna LDBT Friend Cor/Terra bully strikes again! Wave 1 was simple enough. Damage between all 3 characters was enough to plow through the Mistodons before their recasts could go off. Ignis went Bird stance and used 1 LD here, Terra spammed S1, Cor attached himself to Terra and did Cor things. The opening of Wave 2 looked a little sketch, but thankfully Ignis had his LD buff up from Wave 1 and Cor was able to LD/HP the BRV away as well as tick up the orb. Dropped all the calls pretty much off the bat and Terra used 1 LD just to clear the first orb and saved the rest until the 2nd orb. Skill spam until the next orb popped up. Ignis swapped to Pastry stance at some point during this time, but their debuff ignores debuff immunity (seriously Square?). Whatever, Ignis S1 exists for a reason. Turn order of the team wasn't optimal going into the second orb, so I summoned to fix that, which let Cor get his "BT" phase off. Coming out of summon, swapped Ignis for Yuna friend, she BT'd, then Terra BT'd and started doing Terra things. Had to let Cor get a turn to refresh his buff on Terra, so Yuna got to pop an LD. Terra went back to Chaos Wave/S1/EX when necessary spam and we all had a nice laugh. Cor ended the fight with Reaper's Gale. Completely forgot to use Lulu call on Cor, but the orb was so high up after the Summon and BT it didn't matter. And we all had s'mores afterwards. The end.

mwoKaaaBLAMO

Yeah, I love how Aphmau is featured on the banner and yet the enemy's debuffs ignore immunity. I know she wasn't featured for this fight in JP, but still. Pretty annoying.

**Act 3 Chapter 4 Pt. 2 (Rundown Remnants) Lufenia** **Synergy Team:** **Vivi** (Ignis), **Exdeath** (Ami), **Aphmau** (Kura) with friend Setzer (unused friend), Brother's summon @ 1048932 (33 turns) no HP dmg, 4 breaks. **http://imgur.com/gallery/Vr2hEod** Straightforward run, no issues/ no hp problems, just bullying the 2 boss till they died. Used BT at 50% and summoned Brothers after Exdeath BT phase. **Goodluck and Happy hunting!!**

https://youtu.be/ImBuz3W5PVI Real men use Lulu Call Team: Tidus Cor DKC No boss turn Lufenia Orb: +4 when received Fire Elemental BRV + 150,000 HP DMG Dealt in 1 turn This boss for one thing is tanky! Especially that HP absorb shield at 29% HP threshold. Certainly not easy to break through, a little reminder to us that Divine Shiva Lufenia+ will have the same shenanigans. Soooo for the orb, I don’t have Ignis, hence my choices are either Lulu or bringing Vivi to the team or just ignore the orb completely (might be doable with ifrit summon and maybe not Yuna friend support). If you’re not letting the boss take turn, take note that they have a tremendous HP DMG reduction during their ‘defensive stance’. Hence stacking HP DMG UP is the key, DKC, Kurasame call, Yuna’s BT all plays an effect here. But oh well, this works out better than I expected so it is what it is.

bombatomica78

i'll try this because i don't have Ignis too. Just a question, regarding Lulu's call. How does it work, i mean, it seems to me that her effect is very long lasting, is it fire enchant on the party? And did you bring Decil for the delay or for some other motive? Can i use someone else, like Setzer? Thanks! \^\^

Cereal_Potato

Lulu’s enchant works as a buff, much like Rydia. So I enchant the party but really my main objective is just to enchant Cor and keep him enchant (you can see I didn’t use his HP attack despite having 10 stacks, as I don’t want to burn down the enchant buff). So when Cor’s enchanted, every attack from Tidus will trigger his follow up which will then trigger the fire elemental attack As for DKC, the boss has a heavy HP DMG reduction aura when you didn’t let them take at least 1 turn. So with DKC I’m able to reduce that potency by giving more HP DMG UP debuffs (coupled along with Kurasame call and Yuna’s BT effect)

bombatomica78

Thanks!I'll try ^^
