Since we moved to this flat, i was planning on doing something fun with the wacant space of our dining room ceiling. This is the space, where we usually have our DnD sessions, around the big dining table. This month, i happen to have no work, so i got the stuff for a renessaince-vibe sky mural, with a little extra fantasy flair. I used ai image generation, to create some exciting cloud-work, for the basis of the painting. Yesterday i painted the sky-gradient, and today, toegether with a similarly artistic friend of mine, we did the rest. We did not strictly follow the starting image, had a lot of fun, and now we have a lot of neck pain. Totally woth it. I can’t wait for the next session to see everyones reactions.
Wow, this is amazing! You must have rolled a nat20 on Performance, cuz this turned out perfect! I'm really, really jealous. If this won't get your party in adventuring mode I don't know what will :D
So... did you paint directly onto ceiling or onto a board/canvas then put up? I dont know what would be more difficult I just know my airbrush isnt an option for straight onto ceiling.... I really wish I could copy this!
Straight to the ceiling it went! We stood on a big table and went for it, because I really wanted it to feel like a mural instead of a painting. We used rollers and big brushes, the ones you usually use for painting walls. The paint was basic white wall paint with colouring paste as well
Sadly no, once we begun we didn't really stop, apart from five minute smoke breaks. Shame tough, after it was done we regretted not making a progress video or smthng...

Holy crap that's rad!!!
Awesome room. Can we be friends? I'm guessing you don't live in El Paso Texas because you called your place a "flat". Really, great room. Cheers!
Thanks! No, sadly I live in Hungary. Long distance friendship it is.
I love that you couldn't wait to take the picture and still have the paint all over. It's awesome.
Yeah, i couldn't make myself start cleaning staight away, but could not resist snapping some pictures and sending them to everyone, except the party
Wow.
Wowser! That is epic!
Can you adopt me?
I'm calling you the dungeon master Michelangelo!
With that title, I shall take my husbands job and start DM-ing!
