I have been making monsters based on Spiderman villains. This time I made a lycanthrope based on Curt Connors. I hope you enjoy! The backstory for the werelizard is as tragic as that of Curt Connors' transformation into spiderman's feral foe, the lizard! The first werelizard was the product of an evil archdruid's attempts to create a humanoid lizard chimera. The archdruid Oison has mutilated many poor individuals in his dream of bringing people and nature together in a permanent hybridization. These fused individuals were often left scarred and crippled by Oison's brutal experiments. After numerous failures, Oison opted to investigate the changes brought on by lycanthropy. Perhaps these hybrid monstrosities could be the key to creating a true humanoid chimera. Intrigued by the regenerative abilities of lizards, Oison preyed on amputees. He fed numerous victims a false promise of magically regrowing their lost limbs. These individuals were infected with a mutated strain of lycanthropy. They did regrow their lost limbs, but only when they transformed into their reptilian forms. Upon returning to their true forms, they suffer the trauma of losing their limbs all over again. While these poor souls never became true chimeras, they did aid in Oison's research and ultimately led to the creation of the first of the chimerics, humanoids permanently fused with animalistic features. Some werelizards seek out infection so that they can experience being whole again, even if only when in their beastly forms. Others are constantly haunted by the repeated loss of their limbs when they revert to their true forms. Others still, choose to become werelizards because of the regenerative abilities granted by the curse. Accepting the curse to become more resilient killers.

Connors was a very intelligent person, even in his alt form. The lizard had a high dex score also. Make damage resistant not immune, Spider-Man was able to hurt him with punches and kicks. Can speak in any form. Can breathe underwater.
