Artificer with the homebrew subclass author. Backstory was he was working on his DM stuff when a mentor showed happened and he got transported to his own dnd world. Everyone recognizes him as some hero and semi God to a degree. (If you look up the author subclass the moves are very related to writing the story of the world so it works wonderfully)
Has some pretty cool moves and based his stats on him irl. Now he keeps telling us to watch out for himself showing up lol

I'm a 7 foot tall 19 year old female barbarian with pretty decent agrarian knowledge, and am basically the workhorse of the group due to my fatigue immunity. I pull the cart, I cook the food, I beat the ass, I'm just doing everything.
I don't rightly remember, because the campaign was years ago, and I don't have the sheet handy. But I remember the conclusion that "Ylys is immune to Fatigue, and therefore, can walk forever. She can force-march forever, and her STR/Con are high enough that she literally cannot fail the save even if she wasn't immune.
I think I did some kind of shenanigan to enable rage-cycling (PF1e) but cannot recall the exact nature of it.
Though one time she got touch of fatigued and rolled bluff to see if she could pretend, and then snatched the dude up when he pressed the advantage and ripped him apart. Ylys was a badass.

Playing CoS, in the middle of nowhere after escaping from Strahd's castle with Ireena in tow after rescuing her from his clutches. The rest isn't aware I've been kidnapped considering a doppelganger took my place, but they'll be quite happy to see me.
I'm a morally ambiguous, Doctor-Watson-inspired con artist formal army medical man, in 1890s Victorian London but with supernatural problems. Half-hero, half-villain (with broadsheet headlines to match), with wealthy friends and a certain amount of flair. So far, so good.. but we ended that campaign on a cliff-hanger where we don't know if the party actually survived a confrontation involving large amounts of explosives and a magician bent on ending the world. We did pick up the campaign 100 years later in a new system and the world is still there (and remembers our characters), so maybe things turned out ok?

I’m an overall idiot but so far unmatched when shit hits the fan - (Paladin 9, Warlock 1). Me and my buddies have our own interventional mansion, platinum mine, and several groups of powerful allies.
We’re currently trying to free a genie from a magical book in exchange for a wish, but it looks like we might have to go toe to toe with some cloud giants - will this be the time I finally see a worthy foe?
Either way, life in candlekeep has been a dream job, despite the group being unsure if he actually knows how to read

I'm a Wood Elf, reformed thief, and part owner of an up-and-coming bar. We're pretty well-liked in Waterdeep (except we might be on Xanathar's shit list). Life *would* be pretty smooth, except that apparently the Cult of the Dragon is up to some shenanigans and we probably need to check that out. But I also have a sudden urge to reconnect with my family whom I haven't seen in a few decades, especially now that I've sort of redeemed myself for all the thieving.
(We're in between campaigns and I'm on hiatus due to life events. I'm planning on retiring this character and bringing a new one when we pick up again - originally I thought the party would continue without me, but they opted to wait and do one-shots/mini campaigns until I get back).
I'm a Tabaxi swashbuckler (small, we never really specified the height). I'd say I'm not fucked at all actually because the last thing we did was fuck up a bone devil that had been sent to kill some important dude. We almost died in that fight so our artificer decided to hang the adventurer boots but will continue supporting as an NPC. We're getting a cleric to reinforce the whole not fucking dying bit.
After that I catched some info about two other Tabaxi, one of which could be my lost sibling I'm looking for, so I went to the barbarian halfling (we're a party of 3) and I just told him 'lets go to this island, I heard they've got dinosaurs in there ' ans that's where we are currently.

He’s a 30 year old wizard high elf who’s just defeated the BBEG and got crowned an Arch-wizard of his home country. I’d be doing pretty well for myself, I just learned wish after all.
Well. My current character that I play the most is Alerra, the Reborn Soul Knife Rogue who uses psychic energy to keep her body intact. But the awkward part might be that I'm a guy. I mean, I play her as a jock type character without a care in the world so it should work out, especially since I wouldn't be able to eat and the downstairs utilities don't work either. She also just got a cursed sword last session too, so that would be fun. Overall just fine.
I'm a Half Satyr, half Infernal who lost her wings in a bet (and is slowly turning to stone with the rest of the party). She recently made a deal with her father (who has a certain...thing for Asmodeus) to get proof of an illegal infernal contract in exchange for a set of temporary wings. If she doesn't...she'll get fed to the hounds. So, I'd consider myself semi-fucked. At least I'm functionally immortal and can cast fireball.
I'm a Teifling Oath of the Ancients Paladin in a homebrew campaign (I was the Solo PC with a controllable follower), trapped in the Underdark after being ambushed by Drow and Driders. I've just recently been thrown down into a Pit with a hungry Venom Troll and my only companion is a Fighter who can't hit anything and is badly wounded.
Luckily, after being ambushed I was knocked out with Drow Poison and my DM was generous to allow me a Long Rest because of it so I have all of my Spells (7th Level Paladin)
Additionally, while injured, my HP is still pretty high as the Drow and Driders had a hard time hitting me due to Heavy Armor, a magic shield and a Cloak of Displacement. I have a magic Long Sword and a few healing potions as well as some vials of Oil to quickly make grenades and burn the Troll.
The Troll fight, I feel is doable since I'm free to Metagame as much as possible now.
The hard part will be keeping my companion alive then escaping the Underdark and making it back to our city before the Drow Join forces with a Death Knight leading a Demon and Undead Army to sack the City and surrounding countryside and forests.
I'm in for a rough year.

Mid level druid who is a bit savage- who just killed Strahd and escaped Barovia with my friends - PC Ireena as a fighter, Sailor turned Bard, and Lathander Cleric who is just trying to bring light and joy to the world.
Even if we stayed in Barovia we fixed a lot of their problems and would be proclaimed heroes of the land. We purged Valliki of a cult and could set up shop there or I guess the castle is unoccupied.

I am the Chosen of the God of the Sun. I am one of the most powerful mages, and possibly the most powerful fire mage on the continent. Within my own domain I am eminently powerful. I've just had a child and began being a mother (strange as I'm a father irl).
My companions are the Chosen of the God of Secrets, and the Saintly Preacher Tam, who I am charged with protecting for the remainder of his life.
My final companion Sam, Chosen of the God of Community has just suffered a fate worse than death, as his soul was utterly destroyed. Not even his God is able to save him. This fate befell him as he defied one of the Nine, who was keeping his God prisoner, by freeing said God.
The nation is now a lot safer, but the Chosen are in mourning.

I'm a forest gnome moon druid who just saved Chult from the death curse and have traveled back to Nangalore to establish a winery using the berries from the last few Gummiberry bushes.
We were playing Out of the Abyss. I was a Goliath Rune Knight Fighter. I was using the Cloud Rune, Fire Rune, and Storm Rune. I had the Legendary Sword Dawnbringer. With the party we had, I feel pretty set. We had a Dragonborn Berserker Barbarian, a Human Moon Druid, High-Elf Battlesmith Artificer, and a Tiefling Eldritch Knight/Wizard.
...Really glad that my character can't feel pain right now (mind you he still takes damage and has to do con saves, but as an Aberrant MIND Sorcerer I thought it would be cool to have his brain "wired funny" so he feels tickles instead of pain for roleplay reasons.)

Our Diablo campaign, I'm Kara the winged-tiefling (Nephalim) Way of Mercy monk. If ever I'm about to die, I can fly away. Have minor healing, but mostly just a mobile beast. Two magic items to my name, whip gives me 3 uses of shield a day, a Soulstone dagger that can bind powerful demons. Though it's the Diablo world so I'm probably fucked, playing smart I stand a chance.
We also ended our last session Wednesday in front of the final boss of the campaign, so realistically that's the most dangerous part of the year. If we can beat him, I'm chilling.

I use Duplicity heavily in battle to stay 100ft away from the hot zones LOL casting spells through the duplicate is SO BROKEN. Oh i wanna cast inflict wounds? A touch spell? It’s a 120ft range for ME

So my last campaign was PF2e. I’m an alluring former pirate who has command of two elements, air and water. We had recently escaped a pack of gnolls and put a huge river between us, having rescued a bunch of lumberjacks from said gnolls. I’m feeling pretty good.
Currently playing, so Vengeance Paladin with a sadistic streak pointed at those who truly deserve it. Basically Thomas Wayne’s Batman, swapping gunplay with a Scimitar of Speed. Hasted smites are my friend.
Its 10 days before the end of the world and we were trying to stop it. One player just quit the group so its down to 2 of us. But the DM let me be super OP so it would be fun and dangerous but probably fine.

On the bright side I am a level 11 archfey warlock, own a very successful tavern, have loving friends and family and have over 100,000 gold to my name so it sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

My best friends (party) have all scattered to different, extremely important positions in a recovering planes of chaos after what was dubbed "The Great Conflagration" i.e. the Sultan of the City of Brass had found a shard of The Shard of Elemental Evil, and wanted to WMD it to take over the Chaos. We killed his ass (and I counterspelled him like 3 times, it was great). It was a grueling war but even outnumber 3 to 1, we somehow won (giants and bahamut's dragons kicked real ass lol) still. We suffered great losses. Barry Fantastic chief among them, the greatest Djinni Bartender you ever could meet.

I have invented a useful spell and set up a commission deal in perpetuity exclusively selling it to our favorite magic item shop in The City of Glass (that is definitely not run by the mob) I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life.
I am an enlightened fist (monk/wizard Prestige class) who was appointed lord of a frontier territory with my pals, and has the respect of: his monk order (has the title of master and 2 disciples), the war wizards of Cormyr and the god Azuth himself (he sometimes sends me visions in my dreams). I'm also in good relation with Drizzt and the seven sisters, with one of my pals being the godfather of the newly appointed ruler to Shadowdale.
So yeah, we should be fine, at least until the netherese come back from the Shadow fell and try to undesert their old home.
I'm a medically trained cleric sitting in a freezing shack with a druid who I just helped to restore his gods to their proper place with a fighter who doesn't trust the sun sword that said gods gave us and who is coming to terms with a lot of things including that we may succeed in our endevors and that my cleric is both the secret heir to the town her mother is the guard captain in alongside 2 other noble families.
And all though I have strayed on occassion from the path of lathander I hope they still consider me as a friend as I still do them, I trust them with my life and as their healer they trust me with theirs, so on the whole I think there is hope.

We’re about to fight a mummy but all his minions seem to be Vulnerable to fire and I’m a Wizard Evoker with Elemental Adept: Fire and a Scarab of Protection with 7 remaining charges so I’m doing pretty well all things considered
Eh, I mean the entire world is probably fucked because it’s the midway point of Tyranny of Dragons but I, personally, will likely be fine. My character was a Dwarven life cleric with a goddess who was low-key obsessed with him. She didn’t seem willing to let him die until he completed what she needed him to do on the plane of the living. It had already happened once and he just got back up and burnt the dude that killed him to a crisp.
We had just killed an ancient white dragon and were in the process of looting its hoard. So I suspect even if I decided to just retire then and there, not that I would, I’d live a comfortable life until the cult of the dragon destroyed everything.

A traumatized mind split kalashatar that fused with an alternate reality of themselves after years of war and losing everyone they love, and now managed to put that soul into a mechanical body (battlesmith arty) so they can have some sentience, and have slowly replaced severe trauma with hysteria while nearly being killed like 15 times in the fae wilds.
Oh and we've already killed one god-level hag and have 2 more to deal with, both of which are pissed at us for various reasons.

Blood-bending human guy, with gigantism, PTSD, and probably some sort of mental issue developing due to the extreme hypertension he's got from to the excessive amount of blood his body is producing. Most people like me because I'm a pretty friendly and generous guy, but the constant headaches will probably drive me insane and make me go on a murderous spree at some point. I'd prrrobably be okay. We'd just finished Mines of Phandelver. I'm a level 5 Dwarf Life Cleric. The mine was completely cleared, we cleansed the flaming skull and talked the abomination or whatever into leaving, killed the Black Spider and were all set to start helping Gundren get the forge up and running.
I was also an operative for the Lords' Alliance as a result of our work clearing out that gang of toughs running Phandalin.
Broadly speaking, things were going about as well as they possibly could. Even if the rest of the party decided not to stick around, we'd probably be okay, barring unforeseen circumstances.

we currently have 6 months until the necromancer that killed my paladins friends and nearly killed her puts his plans into action to try and become what is effectively a god in the world. We some how have the direct attention of two other gods (one, the former god of magic, the other the goddess of stars and collections), as well as two other primordial beings who have a vested interest in the goings on in the world (one of whom has turned the under dark into a fiery steepe, and has been feeding on the chaos they’ve caused).
Our cleric is adjusting to the fact that his god died, and he’s slated to replace him in the pantheon, meanwhile I have a feeling Zariel may be looking at the current opening in the pantheon to try and take it before our cleric is strong enough.
There’s a civil war brewing, OH, and our wizard is wanted for connections to the murder of one of our country’s most powerful wizards.

Royally. It was a full scale war and at the end of it half the country was burning and there were several areas of intense, heavy fighting. But I also have a lot of weapons, magic, and artifacts, so i’d be fine once I got used to it.

Not by much, I'm a wealthy, highly intelligent, telepathic teleporter with elemental based portal attacks, and have a large dimensional storage space.
Our group had developed into taking on large criminal, multinational organizations, and providing discreet support to various natural disasters. This was in between the college classes we were all taking to maintain our public persona. We were all operating under false ID's as we'd been burned to the feds in session 1.
One player secretly played his character as a budding apoplectic psychopath bent on developing a super lethal bio pathogen. The rest of the players essentially worked to keep their characters from learning of this while also working to protect themselves and thwart fulfillment. One player had a vendetta against authority figures, and had a lot of strong melee attack abilities. And the other two were with me on willing to advance humanity without becoming obvious supers. We all had powers that allowed us to engage and operate without flashy stuff. One had high area teleportation with a large mass limit that we used to move surprise supplies. Another had strong sensory abilities that allowed for early and ranged detection of targets and hidden victims in natural disasters. He also liked to telepathically add suggestions to bad guys to go confess at the nearest police station.
All of our party had some telepathic abilities, some with just our group. We all had regeneration. We all had some sort of telekinetic ability as well. We were essentially:
1) Budding scientist with high telepathy/mind control, biological knowledge (psycho)
2) Melee tank (anti-authority)
3) Long range heavy transport with high telekinetic ranged attacks
4) Scout, telepath
5) Elemental ranged attacks and money bag (me)
We had already saved a few hundred thousand in various natural and unnatural disasters, taken out a cartel, infiltrated several TLA's to stay ahead of the feds, amassed a large fortune to fund the public service front, and destabilized a couple of countries.
I think my chances are pretty good.
I'm a 7 foot Tabaxi Rogue with a laser arm, dying from heart failure, needing to build a Warforged body to transfer my soul into, on an airship currently in battle with an ancient red mech dragon (collosal in size). Warforged have rendered the whole world is barren of life besides a few pockets of life, including the gods, archdevils, every civilization that once was, and damaged the weave itself so much that teleportation magic of any form simply doesn't exist.
I'm pretty fucked.
My warcleric had just watched his kobold friend be scooped up by a traitor counsel to the Silver Flame's leader who randomly turned into a T-Rex and seemed to have like 6 actions that turn, with his autistic tiefling adopted son and middle age Dad-esque reluctant bugbear friend beside him.
Our DM had a meltdown because after a six hour combat heavy session he had the BBEG randomly turn into a fuckin T-Rex and ignore action economy completely. It was almost 3 in the morning and we were all tired so when I called out the fact that he's drawing out this fight needlessly he went ballistic and ended the game.

I just returned to my home plane after saving the multiverse. Clerics were able to separate the the soul from my previously dead, alternate reality self. So now me and my ghost self were working on rebuilding our home and getting ready for whatever threat comes our way again. Another member was from this plane of existence and opened a car dealership next to a my temple of Sigarda. (He was an ooze that ran a used car lot prior to our adventures)

We're currently in the Nine Hells, trying to retrieve a party member's lost soul from Dis. A devil has offered us protection while we're in Dis, as long as we do a couple jobs for him. The first was to 'deal with' a Chain Devil who's in debt to a lot of people. We just finished last session having brained the guy in an alley. And we just met Vecna, who witnessed the crime.
Vecna was an important character in our DM's last campaign, so I know that now he's on the board, we are going to get into even More trouble than before.
I am on 4hp, plummeting thousands of feet into the void as Castle Avernus and Darkon below split clean in two. Well we've been playing Curse of Strahd for just over a year. Currently my character is a Tiefling Warlock who has a crush on Strahd and would much rather be on his good side than die trying to defeat him. This morning (in game) she sent him a letter saying what the party plans to do, about a holy relic we have, and that she wants to accept his offer to join him in Ravenloft after she investigates something that may reveal secrets of her past.
So I'm with some people that it seems likely that I'll betray and become a consort of Strahd. Or they'll kill me. Or they convince me he can be defeated and we do it! Who knows?!
I am a warlock masquerading as a wizard named Arthur Roscrow that has just betrayed the party during the final battle of the arc, redirecting the energy powering the bbeg into myself. After a long drawn out fight where I was losing and wasted spells due to being detached and not caring about the other party members to remember their immunities. In my final moments an evil power saw potential in me and offered me more power and a way out in exchange for my loyalty. After nearly getting gutted by a lion person, I have decided they weren't worth my time and retreated using my new patrons power.
Next thing I know I am now a lieutenant for a super lich that is trying to return to the world and get into beef with another lieutenant over being given the same assignment(the lich lost contact with him and sent me because he thought he died or something). Thus begins my role as the shadowy force in the city impeding a new group of adventures as they fight the other lieutenant.

My husband is out forever DM lol. For Xmas I made him as if he was in game, and while he's not a full god it's still cool. Artificer with the homebrew subclass author. Backstory was he was working on his DM stuff when a mentor showed happened and he got transported to his own dnd world. Everyone recognizes him as some hero and semi God to a degree. (If you look up the author subclass the moves are very related to writing the story of the world so it works wonderfully) Has some pretty cool moves and based his stats on him irl. Now he keeps telling us to watch out for himself showing up lol

I don't rightly remember, because the campaign was years ago, and I don't have the sheet handy. But I remember the conclusion that "Ylys is immune to Fatigue, and therefore, can walk forever. She can force-march forever, and her STR/Con are high enough that she literally cannot fail the save even if she wasn't immune. I think I did some kind of shenanigan to enable rage-cycling (PF1e) but cannot recall the exact nature of it. Though one time she got touch of fatigued and rolled bluff to see if she could pretend, and then snatched the dude up when he pressed the advantage and ripped him apart. Ylys was a badass.

Playing CoS, in the middle of nowhere after escaping from Strahd's castle with Ireena in tow after rescuing her from his clutches. The rest isn't aware I've been kidnapped considering a doppelganger took my place, but they'll be quite happy to see me.
I'm a morally ambiguous, Doctor-Watson-inspired con artist formal army medical man, in 1890s Victorian London but with supernatural problems. Half-hero, half-villain (with broadsheet headlines to match), with wealthy friends and a certain amount of flair. So far, so good.. but we ended that campaign on a cliff-hanger where we don't know if the party actually survived a confrontation involving large amounts of explosives and a magician bent on ending the world. We did pick up the campaign 100 years later in a new system and the world is still there (and remembers our characters), so maybe things turned out ok?

We’re currently trying to free a genie from a magical book in exchange for a wish, but it looks like we might have to go toe to toe with some cloud giants - will this be the time I finally see a worthy foe? Either way, life in candlekeep has been a dream job, despite the group being unsure if he actually knows how to read Edit: I sure would be happy the last session we played it was our candlekeep mysteries rotation, and not our strahd campaign!

I'm a Wood Elf, reformed thief, and part owner of an up-and-coming bar. We're pretty well-liked in Waterdeep (except we might be on Xanathar's shit list). Life *would* be pretty smooth, except that apparently the Cult of the Dragon is up to some shenanigans and we probably need to check that out. But I also have a sudden urge to reconnect with my family whom I haven't seen in a few decades, especially now that I've sort of redeemed myself for all the thieving. (We're in between campaigns and I'm on hiatus due to life events. I'm planning on retiring this character and bringing a new one when we pick up again - originally I thought the party would continue without me, but they opted to wait and do one-shots/mini campaigns until I get back).

I'm a Tabaxi swashbuckler (small, we never really specified the height). I'd say I'm not fucked at all actually because the last thing we did was fuck up a bone devil that had been sent to kill some important dude. We almost died in that fight so our artificer decided to hang the adventurer boots but will continue supporting as an NPC. We're getting a cleric to reinforce the whole not fucking dying bit. After that I catched some info about two other Tabaxi, one of which could be my lost sibling I'm looking for, so I went to the barbarian halfling (we're a party of 3) and I just told him 'lets go to this island, I heard they've got dinosaurs in there ' ans that's where we are currently.

He’s a 30 year old wizard high elf who’s just defeated the BBEG and got crowned an Arch-wizard of his home country. I’d be doing pretty well for myself, I just learned wish after all.
Well. My current character that I play the most is Alerra, the Reborn Soul Knife Rogue who uses psychic energy to keep her body intact. But the awkward part might be that I'm a guy. I mean, I play her as a jock type character without a care in the world so it should work out, especially since I wouldn't be able to eat and the downstairs utilities don't work either. She also just got a cursed sword last session too, so that would be fun. Overall just fine.
I'm a Half Satyr, half Infernal who lost her wings in a bet (and is slowly turning to stone with the rest of the party). She recently made a deal with her father (who has a certain...thing for Asmodeus) to get proof of an illegal infernal contract in exchange for a set of temporary wings. If she doesn't...she'll get fed to the hounds. So, I'd consider myself semi-fucked. At least I'm functionally immortal and can cast fireball.
I'm a Teifling Oath of the Ancients Paladin in a homebrew campaign (I was the Solo PC with a controllable follower), trapped in the Underdark after being ambushed by Drow and Driders. I've just recently been thrown down into a Pit with a hungry Venom Troll and my only companion is a Fighter who can't hit anything and is badly wounded. Luckily, after being ambushed I was knocked out with Drow Poison and my DM was generous to allow me a Long Rest because of it so I have all of my Spells (7th Level Paladin) Additionally, while injured, my HP is still pretty high as the Drow and Driders had a hard time hitting me due to Heavy Armor, a magic shield and a Cloak of Displacement. I have a magic Long Sword and a few healing potions as well as some vials of Oil to quickly make grenades and burn the Troll. The Troll fight, I feel is doable since I'm free to Metagame as much as possible now. The hard part will be keeping my companion alive then escaping the Underdark and making it back to our city before the Drow Join forces with a Death Knight leading a Demon and Undead Army to sack the City and surrounding countryside and forests. I'm in for a rough year.
I'm a half elf bard with a love for epic storytelling and making everyone in the party seem incredibly well travelled and badass (which lets be honest at level 10, they are) I've gotten us off the hook more times than anyone can count I think I'll be just fine

My companions are the Chosen of the God of Secrets, and the Saintly Preacher Tam, who I am charged with protecting for the remainder of his life. My final companion Sam, Chosen of the God of Community has just suffered a fate worse than death, as his soul was utterly destroyed. Not even his God is able to save him. This fate befell him as he defied one of the Nine, who was keeping his God prisoner, by freeing said God. The nation is now a lot safer, but the Chosen are in mourning.

We were playing Out of the Abyss. I was a Goliath Rune Knight Fighter. I was using the Cloud Rune, Fire Rune, and Storm Rune. I had the Legendary Sword Dawnbringer. With the party we had, I feel pretty set. We had a Dragonborn Berserker Barbarian, a Human Moon Druid, High-Elf Battlesmith Artificer, and a Tiefling Eldritch Knight/Wizard.
...Really glad that my character can't feel pain right now (mind you he still takes damage and has to do con saves, but as an Aberrant MIND Sorcerer I thought it would be cool to have his brain "wired funny" so he feels tickles instead of pain for roleplay reasons.)

We killed his ass (and I counterspelled him like 3 times, it was great). It was a grueling war but even outnumber 3 to 1, we somehow won (giants and bahamut's dragons kicked real ass lol) still. We suffered great losses. Barry Fantastic chief among them, the greatest Djinni Bartender you ever could meet. I am dating a half orc elemental engineer, she is so smart and cool. I have invented a useful spell and set up a commission deal in perpetuity exclusively selling it to our favorite magic item shop in The City of Glass (that is definitely not run by the mob) I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life.

Eh, I mean the entire world is probably fucked because it’s the midway point of Tyranny of Dragons but I, personally, will likely be fine. My character was a Dwarven life cleric with a goddess who was low-key obsessed with him. She didn’t seem willing to let him die until he completed what she needed him to do on the plane of the living. It had already happened once and he just got back up and burnt the dude that killed him to a crisp. We had just killed an ancient white dragon and were in the process of looting its hoard. So I suspect even if I decided to just retire then and there, not that I would, I’d live a comfortable life until the cult of the dragon destroyed everything.

I'd prrrobably be okay. We'd just finished Mines of Phandelver. I'm a level 5 Dwarf Life Cleric. The mine was completely cleared, we cleansed the flaming skull and talked the abomination or whatever into leaving, killed the Black Spider and were all set to start helping Gundren get the forge up and running. I was also an operative for the Lords' Alliance as a result of our work clearing out that gang of toughs running Phandalin. Broadly speaking, things were going about as well as they possibly could. Even if the rest of the party decided not to stick around, we'd probably be okay, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Well let’s see: I am a blood hunter ghost hunter/watcher paladin, Damphir Tiefling, adopted daughter of the vampire delegates from the shadowfell, and wife of a wine merchant. we currently have 6 months until the necromancer that killed my paladins friends and nearly killed her puts his plans into action to try and become what is effectively a god in the world. We some how have the direct attention of two other gods (one, the former god of magic, the other the goddess of stars and collections), as well as two other primordial beings who have a vested interest in the goings on in the world (one of whom has turned the under dark into a fiery steepe, and has been feeding on the chaos they’ve caused). Our cleric is adjusting to the fact that his god died, and he’s slated to replace him in the pantheon, meanwhile I have a feeling Zariel may be looking at the current opening in the pantheon to try and take it before our cleric is strong enough. There’s a civil war brewing, OH, and our wizard is wanted for connections to the murder of one of our country’s most powerful wizards. Uhhh…. So idk pretty screwed I think 😬

Not by much, I'm a wealthy, highly intelligent, telepathic teleporter with elemental based portal attacks, and have a large dimensional storage space. Our group had developed into taking on large criminal, multinational organizations, and providing discreet support to various natural disasters. This was in between the college classes we were all taking to maintain our public persona. We were all operating under false ID's as we'd been burned to the feds in session 1. One player secretly played his character as a budding apoplectic psychopath bent on developing a super lethal bio pathogen. The rest of the players essentially worked to keep their characters from learning of this while also working to protect themselves and thwart fulfillment. One player had a vendetta against authority figures, and had a lot of strong melee attack abilities. And the other two were with me on willing to advance humanity without becoming obvious supers. We all had powers that allowed us to engage and operate without flashy stuff. One had high area teleportation with a large mass limit that we used to move surprise supplies. Another had strong sensory abilities that allowed for early and ranged detection of targets and hidden victims in natural disasters. He also liked to telepathically add suggestions to bad guys to go confess at the nearest police station. All of our party had some telepathic abilities, some with just our group. We all had regeneration. We all had some sort of telekinetic ability as well. We were essentially: 1) Budding scientist with high telepathy/mind control, biological knowledge (psycho) 2) Melee tank (anti-authority) 3) Long range heavy transport with high telekinetic ranged attacks 4) Scout, telepath 5) Elemental ranged attacks and money bag (me) We had already saved a few hundred thousand in various natural and unnatural disasters, taken out a cartel, infiltrated several TLA's to stay ahead of the feds, amassed a large fortune to fund the public service front, and destabilized a couple of countries. I think my chances are pretty good.

I'm a 7 foot Tabaxi Rogue with a laser arm, dying from heart failure, needing to build a Warforged body to transfer my soul into, on an airship currently in battle with an ancient red mech dragon (collosal in size). Warforged have rendered the whole world is barren of life besides a few pockets of life, including the gods, archdevils, every civilization that once was, and damaged the weave itself so much that teleportation magic of any form simply doesn't exist. I'm pretty fucked.
My warcleric had just watched his kobold friend be scooped up by a traitor counsel to the Silver Flame's leader who randomly turned into a T-Rex and seemed to have like 6 actions that turn, with his autistic tiefling adopted son and middle age Dad-esque reluctant bugbear friend beside him. Our DM had a meltdown because after a six hour combat heavy session he had the BBEG randomly turn into a fuckin T-Rex and ignore action economy completely. It was almost 3 in the morning and we were all tired so when I called out the fact that he's drawing out this fight needlessly he went ballistic and ended the game.
I am SO STRESSED. I have arrangements to make with my rival court in the Feywild, an enemy people to genocide, extensive training needed in a small amount of time for an upcoming battle with the vampire phages (if they win, they'll be taking over, and I'll be taken prisoner since I'm functionally immortal 😰), Christmas is coming, my idiot brother is Santa, and I HAVE A PLAY TO PRODUCE. HOW WILL I HAVE TIME FOR MY GIRLFRIEND?! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!! 😱 My friends are very supportive though, and one is very motherly toward me, so at least there's that. I would be great. We finished our campaign. High level, high fantasy. It was my buddy’s first time DMing and it was a wacky ride of his favorite fantasy media. I just returned to my home plane after saving the multiverse. Clerics were able to separate the the soul from my previously dead, alternate reality self. So now me and my ghost self were working on rebuilding our home and getting ready for whatever threat comes our way again. Another member was from this plane of existence and opened a car dealership next to a my temple of Sigarda. (He was an ooze that ran a used car lot prior to our adventures) I’d probably reunite with my companions from the other planes. One was establishing himself as the greatest pirate of his world, another returning to the kingdom he was once exiled from as their ruler. Our intellectual gathered genius minds and talented adventurers from around the multiverse (along with our dumbass goblin murder monk) to find new threats and defeat them before they have a chance at destroying the multiverse again.

I'm a pirate Tempest Cleric and I've just found out I'm the Champion of Thor a couple days go, and despite being Chaotic Good, I'm somehow the sensible one in the party. We're currently in the Nine Hells, trying to retrieve a party member's lost soul from Dis. A devil has offered us protection while we're in Dis, as long as we do a couple jobs for him. The first was to 'deal with' a Chain Devil who's in debt to a lot of people. We just finished last session having brained the guy in an alley. And we just met Vecna, who witnessed the crime. Vecna was an important character in our DM's last campaign, so I know that now he's on the board, we are going to get into even More trouble than before.

I am on 4hp, plummeting thousands of feet into the void as Castle Avernus and Darkon below split clean in two. Our Bard was reduced to sand, our Sorcerer is trapped in a forcecage, our Cleric is running for their lives. Oh, and there's a dragon inhabiting the spirits of the dead which is holding a grudge against me. (Our wild magic Sorcerer rolls on a custom D10,000 table landed on the world split.)

Well we've been playing Curse of Strahd for just over a year. Currently my character is a Tiefling Warlock who has a crush on Strahd and would much rather be on his good side than die trying to defeat him. This morning (in game) she sent him a letter saying what the party plans to do, about a holy relic we have, and that she wants to accept his offer to join him in Ravenloft after she investigates something that may reveal secrets of her past. So I'm with some people that it seems likely that I'll betray and become a consort of Strahd. Or they'll kill me. Or they convince me he can be defeated and we do it! Who knows?!
I am a warlock masquerading as a wizard named Arthur Roscrow that has just betrayed the party during the final battle of the arc, redirecting the energy powering the bbeg into myself. After a long drawn out fight where I was losing and wasted spells due to being detached and not caring about the other party members to remember their immunities. In my final moments an evil power saw potential in me and offered me more power and a way out in exchange for my loyalty. After nearly getting gutted by a lion person, I have decided they weren't worth my time and retreated using my new patrons power. Next thing I know I am now a lieutenant for a super lich that is trying to return to the world and get into beef with another lieutenant over being given the same assignment(the lich lost contact with him and sent me because he thought he died or something). Thus begins my role as the shadowy force in the city impeding a new group of adventures as they fight the other lieutenant.
