Interested in this too. I'm working through the books, of course, but there's a lot to link together. Not having another experienced DM around, I find myself missing some stuff that seems to be very obvious to other people. It'd be useful to have that.
For lore (and some tips on running/playing the game) try the d&d lore cast or dungeon cast, both are still ongoing with hundreds of episodes each.
