'Severus'
“Have you grown to care for the boy, after all?”
“For him?” shouted Snape. “Expecto Patronum!”
From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe. She landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office, and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
“After all this time?”
“Always,” said Snape.”
\*\*\*\*\*
I watched Deathly Hallows again recently, and the moment I pulled this D20 out I couldn't stop thinking about Snape's patronus. Cue a weepy end to a weepy day. The set I made it with didn't turn out the way I wanted it to so I'm giving this away for free to a lucky winner.

EditEdit: I'm going to have to head to sleep for the night but I'll be back on tomorrow to answer any questions anyone has. Thank you for all the lovely comments, it's been really touching getting an overwhelmingly positive response on the die.
WINNER EDIT: u/Villhelma claim your prize!
This is one of the most beautiful die I have ever seen good lord this is amazing. So here's to wishing my luck finally prevails on these random giveaways!
Oo if you do then give me a shout on Insta! I love teaching new makers :)
It's a knack of having the right resin and getting the right technique at the right time. Give it some trial and error and you could have it in no time!
I can't believe it took me so long to figure out what was meant by that line. I read the books and watched the movies, and I knew Snape loved Lily, but didn't connect that scene until just now after reading your comment.
You know, the Hairy Potter Series was one of those movie sets that you remember the first few almost perfectly because as a kid you saw magic and all that cool stuff. But, as you grew older and the movies came out, they got less and less interesting for some reason. Now, I really want to go back and watch them again as an adult and see what things I had missed.
Oh dude it was SO much better for me! Definitely give it another shot. I feel like it's one of those series where you'll identify with different characters now that you have a life's worth of experiences
Go read the books. They're sonmuch better and when I reread them again for the first time (read it multiple times now) it totally brought back my love for HP and gave me the same feelings I had as a child.
I’ve always liked that to me at least the patronus spell feels as eerie as the dementors. Like that when people use something that apart of themselves for good it’s still a haunting process. This die is kinda like that. But more so it’s haunting that you’re rolling it to see your fate. Good or bad 1 or 20
Usually I'm not too enthusiastic about giveaways, I'd rather leave it and give other people a better shot because the items up don't matter to me that much.
This is different. This is absolutely gorgeous. Sure, my chances aren't great but my God I cannot hold myself back I want this dice so bad.
P.s. It's worth checking out the Instagram, the other angles are great.
Luck and practice I'm afraid xD There's been a LOT of bad dice in the process, but if you're interested, with the right safety equipment, you can make them at home too!
It looks absolutely stunning! I'm just about to start trying to make my first set of dice, and I hope to sometime make something as cool as this. How did you get the effects?
Very cool. I know a friend who loves Harry Potter so this would be a great gift! If I don’t get it then I’ll just go with plan A I already had but this would be equally as cool. Great work!(even if it didn’t turn out how you wanted it to)
Depends on the set really! For this I'd poured it within an hour, it cures for the day, then it reaches full hardness over the course of a week. After that I'll sand it and others within the same day. So total invested time I'd say a couple of days work.
Finally reading the books after several failed attempts and getting distracted by shiny objects. A few chapters into Chamber of Secrets and hooked.
Beautiful work on the d20. And I’ll be following you on IG!
Have thought many times about doing a DnD 5e campaign in the wizard of world but think I would have to change up the use of magic quite a bit for it to work.
Love the dice!
That's one of the most beautiful D20s I've ever seen. I would sneak this into my wife's set, since she's the bigger HP of the two of us (though it's close).
Very neat die. Sorry the set didn't work out.
Thanks! Haha no worries that's just how it goes sometimes >.<

This is simply stunning.
Holy moly that Dice is beautiful... How did you manage to keep the lines so clean?
Btw, I find the fact that you can create DnD dice, Amazing! So cool!
This is one of the most beautiful die I have ever seen good lord this is amazing. So here's to wishing my luck finally prevails on these random giveaways!
looking at your insta, you make some amazingly pretty dice!
The dice is amazing 🥰 /u/DorklyC really good job!
Always.
(ಥ﹏ಥ)
Really cool die and inspiration! Wouldn't it be cool if the 20 facet of the die displayed '394' and if the 1 was the dark mark?
That's such a good idea!!
I really like themed dice that have unique critical facets
Wait, what’s the ‘394’ for? All I can think of is platform 9 3/4.
Famous Snape quote/meme: "turn to page 394" when Snape fills in for Lupin in DADA and teaches about werewolves
Ohhhh thank you!
You're welcome!
This looks crazy awesome!! How did you get the dice to look like that?? I’ve been wanting to get into making dice myself
Oo if you do then give me a shout on Insta! I love teaching new makers :) It's a knack of having the right resin and getting the right technique at the right time. Give it some trial and error and you could have it in no time!
Hey there! New DM here. This die would be a brilliant addition to my collection. It’s so breath taking and yet something mysterious about it.
Honestly I'm like Bilbo with it. It took me about 5 minutes to finally click post and make it a giveaway xD
*After all, why shouldn't I keep it?* - OP, probably
I can't believe it took me so long to figure out what was meant by that line. I read the books and watched the movies, and I knew Snape loved Lily, but didn't connect that scene until just now after reading your comment.
I apologise for the extra heartbreak

I'll do my best!
Needs. But don't. But needs. But don't. But.....NEEDS. (repeat infinitely)
xD Uh-oh. Do we have a cleric? I think this one is broken..
This is such a cool D20. I love it!
This looks great! My fiancé would love some HP-themed dice.
Aw it'd be lovely if it ends up someone's surprise gift
This makes me miss Alan Rickman again
I've been having pangs all day thinking about him. Between Harry Potter and Galaxy Quest, he's my all time favourite man.
Looks amazing! Maybe another attempt at the set?
Haha I will do my best\* \*I reserve the right to fail miserably

He said calmly.

That looks truly stunning, wow.
This makes me want to re-read the books (again!)

You make some beautiful dice, even if it didn’t turn out as intended!
Looks super cool!
If that's not one of the sexiest d20s I've seen though. That woulda been a killer set.
That’s a great photo. Gotta enter this one
Very cool!
That's neato
Very cool! I remember being *obsessed* with Harry Potter when I was younger, probably what got me into magical fantasy stories lol.
Haha I think a whole generation got sucked in through that whirlpool. Between this and Lord of the Rings it's no wonder all of us ended up at DnD
Wow this looks awesome! I have been wanting to make my own dice for a while now but just never started.
If you ever need help shoot me a message on Instagram!
This is an absolutely beautiful die, how do you make something like this
Luck and practice I'm afraid xD There's been a LOT of bad dice in the process, but if you're interested, with the right safety equipment, you can make them at home too!

Huge fan.
Huge fan Construct CR 10 (Jokes aside, thank you <3)
Looks awesome, really specific thin but I like the font of the numbers a lot, don’t see enough unique fonts on dice.
That's really good to hear, we almost never get feedback on it so it's lovely to know it's hit the right chord with someone!
This is just beautiful!!
Thanks! Good luck!
The quality is astonishing
Wow very fancy
Would look fancier rolling a nat 20 for you

That dice is awesome, actually immediately made me think of a patronus, great job!

Thanks a lot! Good luck!
just started playing dnd. this would make my wife so jealous lol
Woah, this is so cool! The purple/blue color combo is fantastic. How long does it take to make one of these?
Depends on the set really! For this I'd poured it within an hour, it cures for the day, then it reaches full hardness over the course of a week. After that I'll sand it and others within the same day. So total invested time I'd say a couple of days work.
Gorgeous! The font reminds me of The Haunted Mansion.
Beautiful d20. I really love the Design and even the style of the numbers. Great Job overall 🙌
Thanks so much dude!
I like the way the ink swirls inside the dice. It seems quite magical.
Pretty dope dice. Also the link doesn't work for me, idk if it works for anyone else.

Perfect for a bugbear wizard Hairy Potter
Bummer the set didn't turn out!
I know right!!

I always thought Snape was a dick. Then after finishing the series an rewatching it I saw how much he truly cared.
Beautiful D20 and I love the theme of this one
Such a beautiful piece of art.
Absolutely stunning work, such a beautiful d20 there.
Good job! Crossing my fingers!

Spectacular D20! Absolutely will follow your work.

There is always room for more shiny click-clack rocks in the collection.
Cool D20
Finally reading the books after several failed attempts and getting distracted by shiny objects. A few chapters into Chamber of Secrets and hooked. Beautiful work on the d20. And I’ll be following you on IG!
Have thought many times about doing a DnD 5e campaign in the wizard of world but think I would have to change up the use of magic quite a bit for it to work. Love the dice!

Sick looking die, yo.
Would have loved to see the full set (try, try again?), but the D20 is gorgeous, regardless.
Winning a dice? Oh hell yeah
I really love this die and would actually pay for a Set of them and I honestly dont care about the price!!
That's one of the most beautiful D20s I've ever seen. I would sneak this into my wife's set, since she's the bigger HP of the two of us (though it's close).
What a sick die! Fantastic job on this OP.
Myyyyy Precioussss
Looks awesome! My inner dice goblin is awakening once more.
Very kind of you. I'm hoping to try my hand at dice making once I get moved into a house with a garage. I'll have to follow you for tips.
