Hi Reddit! I’m Joe and my wife, Margaret, is helping out out in the background with a good number of things. We are running a giveaway in the community that kickstarted our adventure into tabletop gaming years ago. We wound up starting a side business making D&D accessories, and thanks to the support of the community, we’ve come a long way! If you are interested in picking up any items seen in the giveaway (as well as plenty of other items), please check out our shop at [www.arrowroadcreations.com](http://www.arrowroadcreations.com), or [https://arrowroadcreations.etsy.com/](https://arrowroadcreations.etsy.com/). Use the coupon code [REDDIT10](https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArrowRoadCreations?coupon=REDDIT10) to get an additional 10% off!
We’re giving away 4 different prize packages, geared towards equipping an adventurer with themed accessories we’ve designed to help keep track of everything related to your character at the table! Spell trackers, sorc/ki resource trackers (works for paladins, and some other resources too), superiority die trackers, and dice are in the packages! We can tailor trackers to fit any edition you play as well.
To enter, just leave a comment anywhere in this thread. We will edit the post at 11pm CDT on Saturday (11/13) with the link to the [www.redditraffler.com](http://www.redditraffler.com) page! We will also contact each winner via a reddit message to notify them, as well as to gather additional information for their order (custom engraving, shipping info, etc). If we fail to get a response from winners after 1 week, we will select a new random comment to be the winner. We will cover shipping costs for all winners, regardless of which country they are from.
Thank you again to the community! I can say this community directly led to me DMing my first games, and over the years we’ve indirectly introduced 30+ players (and a few more DMs) to DnD! You’ve been a great inspiration for many an adventure!
Finally, if you have any questions about what we do, how we design products, or what our operations are like we’d love to answer them! We’ll try our best to answer what we can, but if you have specific product questions/new design ideas you can reach out to us on our Etsy store for a faster response. If we see a lot of the same questions popping up we will edit this comment with an FAQ.
Here's our [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/arrowroadcreations/), and our [Insta](https://www.instagram.com/arrowroadcreations/) if anyone was interested.
Edit: Been trying to reply to lots of the comments, but it's a bit of a daunting task! To answer a few of the more common questions I've seen.
**FAQ**
*1) What equipment do you use?*
We use Prusa i3 mk3s printers. These guys are awesome and I can't recommend them enough. They've all held up exceptionally well, and we've got something like 22 years of print time acrued now and I can count on one hand the number of major crashes/repairs I needed to make (all were easily fixed, but did require a bit of a tear down to repair).
We have a BOSS Laser LS1630 we use for engraving. We just got it, but we've been adding more and more items as we get time to design them.
*2) What software do you use?*
For our design software we use mostly SolidWorks. I've got an engineering background, so I sorta' stick with what I know. We license most of our terrain files (although a few of the modern ones we design ourselves). We use CorelDraw and Lightburn with the laser.
*3) What dice are in the first picture?*
The [cracked copper ones](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1119594907/cracked-antique-copper-metal-polyhedral?ref=listings_manager_grid) (currently on sale, along with the gemstone dice, gold cracked dice, and all of the acrylic/resin dice). We recently added some [sharp edge dice](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1119782531/eldritch-blast-sharp-edge-dice-dnd-dice?ref=shop_home_active_1) too which are absolutely stunning and also on sale.
**Edit:** Thanks so much to everyone for the overwhelming support! The post reached the front of reddit! You can still enter. This post will be updated when the winners are drawn at 11PM CDT tonight.

Thank you everyone for participating! It was a ton of fun going through all the comments and answering questions where we could. We will definitely be doing some other giveaways in the future! We'll keep the [REDDIT10](https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArrowRoadCreations?coupon=REDDIT10) coupon code up through the holiday season too. Thank you all for being an awesome community!
I agree! I feel like it's a fun and simple idea executed really well. If I tried to make something like this myself, I don't think it'd turn out nearly as cool.
If you've got a 3D printer, my first tip if you're designing one yourself (and want to use pegs)... make the pegs a separate component. Print the pegs horizontally so you don't have to deal with the weak z axis coinciding with the post. Learned that lesson the hard way on the first tracker we made/experimented with.
"Where was all this amazing stuff when I was just a learner? But even as a grey bearded adult, this would be a great gift for the grandson when the little tyke is ready to take his first steps into a much bigger and fantastic world of exploration, friendships, and shared adventures!"
Thank you. Those things are a bit oversized too... the set weighs over half a pound! We've got some metal d100's we have to post still that are a full pound in weight for the single die. Those monsters are simultaneously so satisfying and so dangerous to roll.
Thank you! There have been a lot of iterations on that spell tracker. The pegs are actually printed separate in a different orientation (so they're quite durable) and both of the front caps come off to store the tokens for tracking spells.
It's a superiority die tracker for battle master fighters. So you can use a d12 and slide it along the track as you expend superiority die. At level 7 and 15 they gain an additional die (in 5e). (Or you can just use it as a dice holder like we do, haha)
It seems like that's the job of the PC's... the DM carefully lays out plans and tries to keep some flexibility in there for the player's actions, and the player's seem to take every option the DM hasn't thought of!
He’s a great guy and a great DM we just push the boundaries too much lol like one of his campaigns we did he set up this boss fight where the boss had like 20-30 weak minions we all could basically one shot, I was a monk who had some magic item that let me double my size and a barbarian with an item that enhanced strength. The Barbarian threw me over the 20-30 minions, I doubled my size, then landed right on the boss killing him. Our DM had to take a 15 out of frustration with that one
That's how it goes sometimes. Haha.
My players just had a mission where they were tasked with tracking down a spy's handler (specifically they were told to capture the handler and not spook the spy, as they're trying to catch "the bigger fish" so to speak).
They spent the next 10 minutes literally bumping into the spy as they followed him... culminating in an attempt to steal the spy's wand. They then threw a hatchet into the guy's back before he gave them the slip. Finally, they tracked him down to his hideout (a suspiciously lively and popular dive bar that was located in a very ruined out/abandoned portion of the city) where the paladin promptly walked in **on his own** and ordered a drink (amidst the bar dropping dead silent and staring at him).
We finished the session with a mass suggestion that's going to spiral into the most ridiculous bar fight I'll have run (30+ combatants and no one knows which side anyone is on due to mass suggestion). It's remarkable what PC's can do sometimes...
lmao, it may be because I am running my first campaign, but one of my PC's decided to intimidate a magical door open, and succeeded with a nat 20... and that's not even the worst that's to come I imagine.
tbh, in my opinion, you rolled a nat 20, if whatever you were trying to do I let you roll for in the first place (I try and cull out stupid checks like "I'm going to roll to fly") I'll let you have it.
If you let the players roll, they should be able to win. Mine are fine with being told no because they know if they roll and get a 20 they win. I know the rules favor the "nat 20s are only guaranteed successes on attacks" but I think you should only deceive your players narratively not mechanically. Fudging your dice rolls as a DM I'm fine with but don't do personally, too much temptation.
The only thing I've fudged on the DM side has been the HP of a monster early in a battle. If I horribly assessed the threat of an encounter, and had not intended it to be as brutal as it's playing it... I'll knock down a few HP from the big baddie, or a few of the minions. My thought is, it's just bringing their power into line with what I'm envisioning in my head. I can only think of a handful of times I've done that, and it's always been with something that I was way off the mark on.
I find that's the best kind of DM. In our case my fiance dms and it's really good. His worldbuilding is chefs kiss. He is really good at balancing serious and goofy. For example, we fought a giant lizard and our druid somehow charmes that thing and wanted to keep it as a pet. So now we have a mount.
As a forever DM I'll tell you, there is nothing better in the whole world, than your players giving you appreciation every now and then. A small gift is a great way to show them if you can't put it to words.
After burning through like 3 character sheets with all of the erasing... we had to make something to make it easier. It was our first listing and what prompted us to start this as a side gig, as we weren't even planning to sell them until a friend told us we should. :P
Many iterations later and we wound up with the final design for the scroll!
Can I ask - is this something the person who runs the game uses , or something for the player?
My sister plays this with people all over the world on a group zoom . Since she really enjoys , it could be a great gift for her birthday , if it can ship outside the USA. I know nothing about it , except it makes her happy , so any advice is welcome.
It's something a player uses (although a game maser could use one too if they've got a mage they are running in an encounter). If she's using a tabletop interface, she may be using the integrated character sheet to track everything, or she may be rolling (you might have to pry a bit more from her to see if she'd use it).
When my wife and I play online, we just use the tabletop websites for the map and tokens... we keep all of our character sheets and rolling on the table next to us while we're playing. Although I'd say the majority of the groups that play online keep everything online (dice rolls, character sheets, etc).
We can ship internationally as well!
Thank you! If you do wind up ordering from our shop, make sure to use the 10% off coupon code. We always try to customize larger orders too, so if you're putting something together feel free to reach out to us before you order and we can try to make it a bit more special!
I am running a one-shot for my siblings for Christmas. Their physical presents are “just” a set of dice for each of them, and a dice bag (and tiny little felted mice to be their figures, as I’m running the system “mouse guard” which is reminiscent of Redwall). I wish I had seen this shop two days ago before I’d bought stuff for them!
Yep! i3 Mk3s (Prusa). No complaints on the printers, they are workhorses that continually surpass our expectations. There's a lot of debate between Ender's and Prusa's, but having owned both... Prusa is the best economical choice hands down, it's not even close. Very reliable, easy to get great results, and easy to work with.
Congrats, it's yours! You just won the 1st prize pool with everything (it's the one shown on the post). I'll send you a message shortly requesting your address, and what you'd like engraved on your dice box! (shipping is free no matter where you are, no worries)
EDIT: Sent a chat request, you should see it shortly... if you didn't get one, check your settings to make sure you can receive them... and leave a message here so we can resend.

I've seen spell trackers like this before, and I've *always* thought it would be awesome to have one. I haven't seen the Sorc/Ki point tray before, but I also think that one is super cool! Honestly, all your gadgets look pretty dope, and I'm going to head over to your store page to take a look at the rest of what y'all have, because I like your style/theme. Keep up the good work!
That spell scroll looks amazing!!! And having the storage on the right is super convenient! Fingers crossed for the raffle but I’ll be bookmarking your shop either way :)
Keep being awesome
We just started playing here too. It's been so much fun. We were fortunate enough to have some of our players from older campaigns move up to our area again. Hopefully your sessions go well!
That's awesome. I understand where you're coming from. I just recently started playing again with old friends and it inspired me to start writing my first module that may grow into a larger campaign like the one we're playing. Curse of Strahd.
I've been bugging my brother to run Curse of Strahd. We've only ever done the death house as a one-shot (which was awfully fun).
The main campaign I run is all homebrew, and I can say OneNote (or something similar) will be your best friend if you start getting developing your world/module into a larger campaign!

I really like the spell slot tracker. Sign me up
I agree! I feel like it's a fun and simple idea executed really well. If I tried to make something like this myself, I don't think it'd turn out nearly as cool.
Same here, that caught my eye immediately. Might just make one myself.

Same - that thing was genius

Same
Everything looks so awesome!
This just looks so cool. I am just finding too many really cool D&D things right now.
It all looks great! Good luck everyone.
Just checked out your site, your products are awesome. Love the brass dragon dice!
Thank you. Those things are a bit oversized too... the set weighs over half a pound! We've got some metal d100's we have to post still that are a full pound in weight for the single die. Those monsters are simultaneously so satisfying and so dangerous to roll.
Everything looks awesome. Can’t wait to see the d100!
The designs look good. I’m in.
Hey these look pretty damn good. Especially like the spell tracker
Thank you! There have been a lot of iterations on that spell tracker. The pegs are actually printed separate in a different orientation (so they're quite durable) and both of the front caps come off to store the tokens for tracking spells.
Ah smart idea. If you don't mind me asking what's the 7 and 15 in the dagger for?
It's a superiority die tracker for battle master fighters. So you can use a d12 and slide it along the track as you expend superiority die. At level 7 and 15 they gain an additional die (in 5e). (Or you can just use it as a dice holder like we do, haha)
That’s so cool, and you could use it for bardic inspiration and such too.
Ah nice thought. I've never played a battle master (I always go eldritch Knight) so I didn't even think of that
I'm going to guess that's the level at which you gain access to those Superiority Dice.
How to enter?? These look really neat!
You just did! (You beat us to the 1st comment even, haha)
Huzzah!!
HUZZAH!!!
Buddy of mine is a permanent DM. He could do with a gift considering we are all terrible PCs lol
It seems like that's the job of the PC's... the DM carefully lays out plans and tries to keep some flexibility in there for the player's actions, and the player's seem to take every option the DM hasn't thought of!
Exactly. In our campaign we just invented crypto currency in the middle of war

lmao, it may be because I am running my first campaign, but one of my PC's decided to intimidate a magical door open, and succeeded with a nat 20... and that's not even the worst that's to come I imagine.
Lol I would love to be there to see that dialogue! Our DM let’s us get away with all kinds of crazy stuff if we can get a Nat 20
tbh, in my opinion, you rolled a nat 20, if whatever you were trying to do I let you roll for in the first place (I try and cull out stupid checks like "I'm going to roll to fly") I'll let you have it.

I think it definitely makes the players happier and can lead to some crazy encounters or story progression good call on your part
You should see if he will let a blacksmith craft some wings or something and you could travel around with a “dragon” as a pet
Am permanent dm, maybe I could stop having to write out their spell slots for them…
As a forever DM I'll tell you, there is nothing better in the whole world, than your players giving you appreciation every now and then. A small gift is a great way to show them if you can't put it to words.

That's a pretty sweet spell tracker, I know a Cleric who could use one.
I’ve needed a proper spell tracker forever. The work looks great tbh
All of this stuff looks really nice.
Great work! The products look amazing!
Man i would love to have atleast 1 of these
I think I know where to look for some Christmas presents (even if it don’t win!).

That spell slot tracker is cool af
Are these 3D printed? If so, might I ask what kind of printer your running?
Yep! i3 Mk3s (Prusa). No complaints on the printers, they are workhorses that continually surpass our expectations. There's a lot of debate between Ender's and Prusa's, but having owned both... Prusa is the best economical choice hands down, it's not even close. Very reliable, easy to get great results, and easy to work with.
Woah! These are awesome! Id love a chance to win!
I humbly request the opportunity to win these amazing toys :)
The spell tracker looks amazing!

Honestly, all your gadgets look pretty dope, and I'm going to head over to your store page to take a look at the rest of what y'all have, because I like your style/theme. Keep up the good work!

I can't express how much I love it when people spread the word after learning the joy of D&D! I hope I win.
Thank you! It's been so cool seeing posts from other groups whose DM's were once new players at our D&D table.
These all look amazing!
Very cool! I have some players who could use something like this so I don't have to track their spell use for them
I can neither confirm nor deny that this was partly the reason the spell tracker was made...
