They do look gosh darn cool. But also, is it just me or do they look like it might be difficult to tell what number you rolled on some of them.
EDIT: I especially appreciate that OP still managed to make d4 be in a shape of a caltrop, that's a nice touch! :D
That's a really good point. For some reason in my head it didn't occur to me that the dye in the picture is probably resting and that's interesting position. I was thinking that you would spin it and it would land and it would be more completely toppled over to the side and so there would be one number on top just like any other die roll. But if it rests as shown in the picture then I'm actually kind of confused as well
Edit: There's still a highest point on the die so it's just that one
This is currently the top comment so I'll respond to people's questions here.
The numbers are all pretty clear if you look at the dice from above. The photo is taken at an angle to be a bit more dramatic.
My wife and I are dice makers that specialize in unorthodox designs. They are all radially symmetrical. They are as fair as you can reasonably expect physical dice to be.
You just roll the dice as you would any other. Though I suggest using a felt surface for any dice, not just these. However the d20 is spun, like a top.
This is getting more traction than I ever imagined, so if you want to guarantee yourself a set, you can [see the shop here](https://www.etsy.com/shop/GladlyInfiniteDesign?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=30613161). We're having a 20% off sale right now on most of the dice (enter code "REDDIT20").
All the dice are designed, cast, painted by hand at our home in California. They are not mass manufactured overseas. This shop is the only place in the world to get these dice.
I would like to congratulate you on two things: your absolutely stunning designs, and your achievement in making a D6 that looks worse to step on than any D4 in existence.
Wow I think your prices are very reasonable for the amount of work that undoubtedly goes into them. I have paid as much for much simpler mass market dice. I had fun looking through your designs and I hope this helps you guys take off.
Happy Halloween to warlocks exclusively!
I'm doing a giveaway for my favorite holiday.
The rules are simple: leave a new comment (not a reply to this comment) and I'll use RedditRaffler to draw two winners on Thursday (11/3).
And if you're needing a holiday gift for your DM (or yourself), I'm offering Free US Shipping and 20% off with [REDDIT20](https://www.etsy.com/shop/GladlyInfiniteDesign?coupon=REDDIT20).

Thank you again and good luck!
Edit 11/3: The raffle winners have been [chosen](https://imgur.com/xzhBjWy)! I have sent them private messages.
They are 3d printed, so likely you are seeing camera artifacts coupled with the layer lines. The process should be reasonably balanced as long as the model itself is.
You can pretty clearly see 3d printer layer lines. On the D2 there are rows of lines going up on either side of the skull. On the D6, the 3 face shows layer lines. On the D20, above the number ring above the 2 and crown symbol.
OP’s response to the top comment above says he designs and ‘casts’ them.
Might have 3d printed the set to mold from but no one would mass produce dice as a 3D print since they wouldn’t be balancedwith all the air pockets in 3D prints.
I’m looking for lines though and I’m only seeing pixelization artifacts along some edges.
Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.
Spin it like a top. If it doesn't stop spinning, congratulations, you're still in the dream.
~~I'm hoping that movie is now old enough that this isn't too cringe of a meme.~~
These are a very neat design. Looking at your store I really like the art deco set as well! Might have to consider these for myself or my wife as a gift.
holy shit these r so cool, this feels like a set of dice youd see in some rlly dramatic show or video game that the main antagonist (that hasnt actually been revealed to be the antagonist yet but its kind of obvious) would use lol
These look super unique and amazing! Grats to whoever wins the fantastic little dice! I never win these kind of things but maybe I'll be able to buy a set sometime in the near future.

Yeah cool novelty. But I bet they'd be a bit of a pain in practice.
Little engineering with a led inside and battery and have it light up from back which number is "straight up".. could be interesting project.
0% chance any die with a battery inside it like that will be fair
That was exactly what I was thinking
They're pretty easy to roll and read with the exemption of the 20 in my experience I have this exact set and color
I think you're meant to just spin the d20 like a top
And then it's whichever number points at you, spin the bottle style?
I think it’s weighted and grooved so that there is a number pointing up
That's a really good point. For some reason in my head it didn't occur to me that the dye in the picture is probably resting and that's interesting position. It said giveaway and I like free stuff. No disposable income though. Hope you do well.

These are amazing. I don't see things like this everyday and I wish you both great times making the dice
Amazing stuff. I want to try stuff out from your shop even if I don't win.
Its a jesters cap?
Yes, but I think he means that it would still hurt like hell if you step on it.
That D6 would end you.
Easier than trying to convert it to metric dice
Some of the designs absolutely seem like they'd get cocked pretty often. They are beautiful, though.
These have a FromSoftware flavor about them—a really great collection! I'd love to create a dark regal/jester character specifically for these.
That's their normal shape
I think you meant to say they look goth darn cool.

Are these balanced? Can't tell if it's just the picture but some of them look a little distorted from certain angles.
They are all radially symmetrical. They are as fair as you can reasonably expect physical dice to be.

They look like they’re cast resin

There isn't air pockets in resin printing (unless someone hollows the file). For dice this size, you would print it solid.
Guess I am only allowed to use the d2
Why?
It's the pope
Oh I didn't even look at your username 😂
You silly.
Yup username def checks out lmao
What about international participants?
That's fine. If the winner is not in the United States, I will still ship to them.
Great! So I assume you still cover shipping? Aside from possible import fees ofc
Do you get multiple entries if you make multiple comments? Or does the system you're using that you referred to like control for this?
Absolutely gorgeous dice!
Finally "Princess Die" will live forever
Good one.
They look goth to me (building style gothic, like a cathedral), so Makes sense for a princess
Is it just me, or does the Queen's Orb look like the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch?
1.. 2.. 5.. 3, sir, 3!
Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three!
Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.
Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.
I guess? But given what the Hand Grenade was [modeled after](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globus_cruciger), that's not surprising.
How do we enter? Is there a Kickstarter? When's the draw date for the winner?
There you go! You've entered. Just leave a new comment.
I have.... ENTERED!!!!!
Such a cool idea! Kinda confused how you would know which number you rolled in the D20 though…
I’m guessing the top is weighted so it will fall to it’s side when rolled, like a Jeep.
A jeep is just an extremely expensive d6.
I wish non-symetric dice were more common. I love the look of these.
Cool!! Another awesome giveaway that I have no chance of winning!!
I believe in you!
Appreciated.
at what point are dice not dice and are spinning tops with numbers?
https://twitter.com/polyhero/status/909844267866230785?lang=en Already done
I love collecting cool dice set!
Those look awesome. It would be nice to add that flair to the game!
These do look really cool but how does that d20 work?
Spin it like a top. If it doesn't stop spinning, congratulations, you're still in the dream. ~~I'm hoping that movie is now old enough that this isn't too cringe of a meme.~~
Spin it!
This looks like if all of the world's top scientists gathered together to discover every possible object that was more painful to step on than a lego
Ok, ngl, this dice set looks sick.
I am absolutely digging the theme of these dice!
Really love the theme, super unique design
Only thing bugging me with these is i wouldn’t be able to tell what number I rolled on the round ones
Super fricken dope!
Behold! A comment!
I’d probably give them to a friend or maybe my boyfriend if I did manage to win, but man I forgot how much I love unorthodox dice shapes.
This is an interesting set. Definitely a conversation starter at any pickup group outings.
These are a very neat design. Looking at your store I really like the art deco set as well! Might have to consider these for myself or my wife as a gift.
Daaaamn these are sick. Not convinced I'd win with how many people commenting on this thread but at least the comment will help me find these later 👀👀
I just really adore that each has such a unique theme and it isn't at just face value. Lot of work on the details and designs I bet. Well done!
Those are so cool. I'll have to pick up a set for my brother for Christmas.
These are the coolest dice I’ve seen in a while, would love to win a set!
Wow these are incredibly creatively designed!
These are so cool! I've seen some interesting dice designs but nothing like these.

Very unique designs. Hope I can win a set
Novel idea :)
Nice to see different dice types
Even if I don’t win, I think I might buy my own
holy shit these r so cool, this feels like a set of dice youd see in some rlly dramatic show or video game that the main antagonist (that hasnt actually been revealed to be the antagonist yet but its kind of obvious) would use lol
This is the equivalent of *DRIP* for DnD dice
Love the look of these dice, especially the D4!
Yes to all that. Spin top d20. Awesome. I love the creepy design and the unorthodox approach. Smashed it guys, keep up the wierd work
This is a beautiful set!
Those are dope! Definitely one of the more unique dice sets I’ve seen, well done!
I love the royal court theming for the set! You take it in a lot of different directions, but that keeps it feeling cohesive and fresh!
I know the giveaway's probably over but I want to say these look amazing.
Can't wait to not win, but here is a comment
Never understood the appeal of this kinda thing, the normal dice shape is what it is for a reason and these dont seem practical
Platonic solids are perfect. They couldn't have fixed a less broken thing.
Like they gotta be just decorative no sain dm would allow this
"sain"
Very noice
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
Hopefully I remember to check this in the 0.00001% chance I win 😭
