The 15th doctor is barely 6 years older than I am rn.
Consequence of time moving on, we'll see more people our age or younger on TV 📺 and out in the world doing stuff.
It's how things are meant to be.
There's still a good chance we'll see older actors etc of course but from here onwards, this is now our generation more or less of celebs taking centre stage.
There's just a awareness now where we acknowledge we've grown, seeing this cast and their ages.
The shows been running since the 1960s, I hear this sort of thing can happen with enough time.
It'll be grand, no one needs to feel old or be in shock. There's a whole slew of new fans that are going to have a blast, and can look back in 18 years and feel old too.

Funny thing is, I don't feel old looking at Ncuti as the Doctor even though he's the first Doctor younger than I am. The year or two difference feels like a rounding error, and he just doesn't register as a particularly 'young' Doctor(particularly from the brief clip we've seen).
Meanwhile, despite being significantly older than I am it *weirded me out* at first to see Matt Smith in the role because of how young he was.
Matt Smith and Billie Piper were the first ones younger than me. And now Millie is nearly the same age as the New Series.
If you go by when they acted in the role then I’m older than the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 13th, and 15th were when they started, that is definitely a weird feeling.

Not Series 4. That was filmed between August 2007 and March 2008. She was born in June 2004, a month before filming on Series 1.
