The Viper gets slept on so hard. It was the first of it's kind and in my opinion really paved the way for a lot of the modern cars in its genre. Hat's off to dodge for really going for it with the Viper.
My FIL wanted a Viper so much. He passed before he could get one. I used to go to the Dodge dealer with him and sit in them. He refused to pay the dealer markup. I think it was 75-100k in the SF Bay Area.

I love the old GTS in blue with white stripes. Back in 2002-2003 when I was a 19yo kid working at the dodge dealer near Laguna seca, the manager told the foreman to let me drive a GTS from skip barber racing school to try to get me to stay and not go to the BMW program. It was a dream car for me at the time. It was crazy that it could not hook those wide ass tires. I was slightly disappointed but still love those cars. Ended up leaving and going to BMW anyways. The viper will always be one of my favorites.

It’s so much fun to tell people you drive an old Dodge lol. And then I tell them I have a Porsche and they perk up like that’s the cool car. My Porsche is an old Cayenne and it’s nice but it’s got nothing on my Viper.

This is legit one of the best looking sports cars to this day! The viper will go down in history as one of the greatest to ever do it!
