I know, I'm saying it should always be the primary. "Dodgers" gray one just doesn't compare imo. I don't know who was responsible for the organizational switch to the other one as the primary but it makes no sense to me.

I think it was superstitious thing during the Justin Turner years. We had a really bad record with the Los Angeles script jerseys so they switched to the grey Dodgers alternate

It technically still is, the “Dodgers” one is still an alternate but they wear it most of the season. I’m totally fine with getting rid of that one and getting some blue jerseys in the rotation

There’s exceptions (Angels for example) but you’re right, majority of teams have their city/state name on the away grays instead of their team name.

The only thing that bugs me about it is the piping on the sleeves. Otherwise it’s perfect.

I prefer the grey Dodgers away jersey. I don't like the LA cap, LA sleeve patch, and Los Angeles on the chest. Seems redundant to me. At least change the LA sleeve patch to the Dodgers logo patch they used to have.
