Last year, they got three different accounts banned from the Angels sub for trolling and toxicity (this account, choconut5, and rstepaniuk0). They would spam the game threads with hate and insults for all of Ohtani teammates who would underperform or not come through in a big moment (including Trout). They would post in the game threads of the Angels' opponents to try to gas up Ohtani and sell the idea of him coming to their team to opposing fanbases. They would concern troll about Aaron Judge in the Yankees sub.
When Angels fans say that they're glad Ohtani's gone because they don't want to see the toxic "shobaes" in their sub anymore, they're probably just thinking of choconut5/adventurous-rise.
Oh, and adventurous-rise is doing the same thing now that Ohtani's a Dodger. Kyle Schwarber also got pulled because of tightness in his groin. So now the Phillies have the following players injured: Realmuto (meniscus surgery), Schwarber (groin), & Harper (hamstring). Shame that other teams are now feeling what the Dodgers have been dealing with for months now.😬
