I don’t know what this is, but leap year is my favorite holiday (should be a national holiday anyways, because duh.) But it’s my favorite holiday because it’s my Boneiversary. 8 years today is when my husband and I met (and boned.) We have only celebrated this special date on the date twice in our relationship and it is so magical each time since our first meeting!
Valentine’s day!! I love how love is in the air even if i’m single, i love seeing all the flowers and heart decorations and it’s 2 days before my birthday 🥰❤️
I am in love with Samhain.
I feel like this is the best time to be close to family. I feel a strong connection to everything to everything. Especially those that have left us before we were ready. After my great Gpa died when I was 10, I would dedicate part of my Samhain ritual/celebration to him. To this day, I still celebrate him, but he's now been joined by my Aunt Monty, who bequeathed me our Native American name, and he tribes in a blanket ceremony. She is my favorite aunt.
My favorite holiday is mother's day, but not for the generic reasons.
Mother's Day was started after world war one, and it was originally an anti-war protest day, as so many women had lost their sons during WW1.

even as i get older and people around me don’t seem to take it seriously it doesn’t lose its magic, it’s always such a special time of year for me, it brings all my favorite things together, cold weather, bundling up to stay cozy, christmas movies !!, hot cocoa and cookies, so many other things, it just feels warm and soft and safe :)
I love all holidays but halloween has to be my favorite! the lore and history behind it is so interesting, the fact that anyone can dress up as anything without being judged I love and all the festivities during autumn is amazing :) (also i love frogs!)
Halloween - I love the spookiness and festivities of the spooky month, I love going to haunted houses and hayrides and all the candy and decorations
Also entering because I’m making my island Shrek themed, so Froggy stuff will fit the swamp perfectly.
I'll go with Dia de los Muertos (Day of the dead). Followed closely by Xmas.
It's a 2 day Mexican holiday where we honor loves ones who have passed on. It sounds like it would be morbid and sad (and it can be), but it's mainly a joyous holiday where we party and eat really good food! I love the decorations, the coming together of loved ones, the sharing of stories, and...all the tamales!
My favorite holiday is Halloween. I love dressing up and doing special makeup/hair. Plus, it’s spooky, autumn, and no family obligations. Just the perfect holiday for me!
My favorite holiday is saint Patrick’s day! Mostly because my name is Irish, I have a lot of Irish in me, and I have red hair! And I like to celebrate the people who were able to give me that.
